Alan Watts probably helped me the most with depression and anxiety. I am an alcoholic and would like to say Alan is, I think, a good example of how a person with amazing knowledge can be slowly pushed into ill health and poor judgement by alcohol. It slowly crippled my judgement, health and family. Now in recovery for 6 years I live with fear of the alcohol 'spirit' taking me over again like so many others. Please be ever so careful with alcohol and drugs they can crush anyone... Anyone!
stay strong friend. Whenever a thought rises in me of doing anything bad to myself, i just watch the thought without interacting with it and it may take a little time, but then it goes away and a good energy that comes out of nowhere just like the thought, floods my body. Hope this helps
Well done on ) years that’s amazing 🤩 Fellow alcoholic & 12 stepper here well done on 6 years we do recover 🙏🏼 and yes vigilance is imperative for me along with being a member of the “no matter what “ club, no reservations I do not pick up NO MATTER WHAT ! I aim to let go of resentments as quickly as possible. All the best 🙏🏼🩵
So true, so true about demon alcohol. Sadly experienced the addiction first hand. As of today I am a gratefully recovering alcoholic. Alan Watts has helped me a lot too.

I feel like Being/is-ness is different than the being in a particular form and then not being in that particular form. ☯️ Yin and Yang, Both are, both is, That is-ness/Being is the Capital B Being which is no matter if lower case being is flipping with non-being

Tao has no race no color no separation its the Eternal Reality living in the whole in Light of Universe just as said the living true nature of the "Humanity“ since u r living in the human body so does the mind be operated in the True nature of being human Living in Light of Universe " IAM " that simple nothing complicated. The duality exist oni when ye living out of the Eternal True Nature of a Living Humanity!
Yin and Yang in truth are ONE Living Light of Universe IAM Love and Life! The Origin the Source! Do not focus in Yin and Yang but see beyond the Yin and Yang IS Infinite IAM that's where Yin and Yang descend! Similarly the Male and Female, the Love and the Life, both descend from the Light, the Whole of Love and Life is Light the Ultimate BODHI the Enlightened Heart and Mind IS the Light of Soul! As such, it IS as it was as it IS now and ever shall BE the same yesterday today tomorrow! What is inside and outside are to lead Thou to SEE beyond.... Similarly the up and down eventually will be returning to the Origin the Absolute the One!

To laugh at another is to laugh at self. To judge another is to judge self. To harm another is to harm self. Why, they are you. Just like the tree's in the forest seem to be seperate, when you look closer you will see they are all interconnected through the roots under the soil. Communicating in an advanced eco system. We are all one. This is the nature of the Tao.
You actually can define THE SELF. IT'S PHYSICAL, OBSERVABLE, IN EMBARRASSINGLY PLAIN SITE. The Self is the floral pattern of pressure. The Reflection is spiral, and spirals only make floral patterns. Find center to bloom out
