The guitar ruined it a bit but kudos to Dallas Smith! He is an amazing vocalist. He should've stayed as a rocker and not a country singer! Yes, Philippines listens to Default.
Haha the guitar sounds bad because there should be a rhythm player and a lead player. When you have one guitarist doing both, it’s much more difficult to sound complete….but you split the cash with less people hahaha
@@th3gr81 he is just selling it plus he is literally kissing the mic u will see this in metal alot they aren't literally screaming they are just close to the mic so it sounds louder
@@greydazeplays Stop making excuses for his poor technique. He sounds much better here, like he’s not about to $hit his pants. ua-cam.com/video/HiVTYcUM-1k/v-deo.html
This vocalist is terrible. They need a second guitar and backup singer to fill in the sound. Maybe the singer could have played guitar and the bassist sing harmonies? 🤷🏽♂️ Some bands don’t know how to be an effective quartet.
Here let me educate you....In 2002 Default won the Juno Award for "Best New Group". On August 23, 2002, The Fallout received a platinum album certification from Canada's CRIA, and on April 30, 2003 it was certified platinum in the United States by the RIAA, signifying a million records sold. HELLO!!!!! Canada still has amazing bands. Keyboard warrior.
@@jimwilkie4839 Let me educate you. Maroon 5 also have similar accolades and they absolutely suck. I’m just making an observation that nobody was helping the singer with harmonies and the guitar needs more beef. Do you play music? Keyboard failure.
@@jimwilkie4839 I just realized, I can further educate you. I’ll make a cover version of this song, it’ll put into perspective how bad this live performance is.
He hit every one of those high notes beautifully.
goosebumps
So under rated.
These guys. Are
Phenomenal.
Great vocals.

Man-his howls sound even better than the studio version.

It’s because it’s a Les Paul.
A Stratocaster would have stayed in tune!
Yeah, his country music is atrocious.

I think it time for a comeback tour !
Guessing by the looks of that NBC logo in the corner, this was after 9/11 but before the 2002 winter Olympics.
