Hi Everyone! We pick a day once a week to do free lawn care and lawn transformations. On this property a retired US Veteran reached out to see if we could tackle his property. The property has not been maintained in some time. The Veteran explained to us on the phone that his lazy kids wont get off there (!!!) to help him, expressing that they are a SHAME! The area of this property is in a small town 45 minutes from the next major metro area and as such he was unable to find any other lawn service providers willing to come out and take care of his property. This video documents the before, during and after transformation of the property. Hope you all enjoy!

When you get bored of the homeowner yards, go to an abandoned cemetery and work on that. Would make for some good content.
You just never know why someone's kids won't help them. I'm a veteran so I feel comfortable saying that just because you're a veteran doesn't mean you have a wonderful personality. Just saying that you never know what goes on in some families. These workers are doing a GREAT JOB. ✌️👏🏻🇺🇲
They probably got tired of his potty mouth. I'm a Vietnam era vet and to this day I absolutely hate being around people that can't carry on a normal conversation without a lot of curse words. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely NOT a saint, but I just don't like hearing it. ositagordita8550, thank you for your service.

Amen my uncle is a veteran too but he is a royal Ahole too just because you retire with lots of letters after your name doesn’t make you a wonderful person my cousins don’t talk to their father either. When my father passed away my uncles son came to my father’s funeral and my uncle didn’t recognize his own son. Sad sad.. you get what you give. Trish and Casey do amazing job.
Maybe but some kids are just lazy and self centered.. take my word for it.😝
That man was very, very lucky to get your service -- for free. You go way over and above giving excellent service. Removing branches, stubborn weeds, weed whacking and then blowing out the dust on porches etc. You give your clients 110%.

After we were grown we would clean up for Mama if she was outside or gone to town. When we saw her coming we stopped or she would put us to work on major projects! I had driven 14 hours to get there and wasn’t up to major projects. My older sister would change the furniture around every time she went to Mama’s. That way it was swept and mopped several times a year. My husband mowed the lawn whenever we went and paint anything Mama wanted painted. We bought groceries and helped cook and clean. When Mama got older I begged her to come live with me, but she wanted to stay in her house. When my brother was divorced she insisted that he stay with her. He did. He watched over her for ten years. The rest of us gave him our part of the house because we knew he deserved it when Mama died.
Wow. I was the only one people my dad and mom. And my sister and brother didn’t give me nothing. We are now in court. I just don’t understand way people have to be so money hungry.
Unfortunately that seems to happen when there is a death.
You both are the hardest workers I have seen in a long while. Mom, you done well with this boy!!!
As always…wonderful job cleaning up this veteran’s property. I truly wish that the vet would have shown you both, the same kind of respect…by NOT using profanity constantly and barking work orders. He is forgetting one four letter word, FREE. CJ Mowing’s work ethic is always commendable and first rate!!!

I used to do yard maintenance for years until too broken. Anyway, you guys work so hard. I dont know if you've tried this or not, but "tarps are our friends." I used a 8×10 tarp layed on the ground to haul debrea. So many fewer trips, and you can wrap up to take away or pull to where you are working. I hope this cuts down on your workload.
On my yard, I wove a good rope in tarp holes to pull together, make handle, & use the mower to pull where I need to dump it. Less steps, less strain, time saver.
I’ve just got a smallish yard now ! But I used to lay an old sheet down when raking up leaves , the yard got lots of them! It was much easier ! Now that I’m disabled , my son does my yard and I can get grandsons to rake if not he just mows them too!

Your parents raised you supported you and cared for you when you were young when your parents are in need when they're older you need to help them out it's absolutely sickening when kids don't help their elderly parents or family.. But i'm sure, they'll be there when their dad passes when it comes to the property. Heart breaking😢
These two do a good job and get along so well for a mother son duo! Mom here is wonderful for her age! She is not afraid of hard work!

That is Chase's mom. He is on the mower. They work so good together and will make you laugh on their water breaks.
She is one hard working woman.. I'm 69 and still mow with a push mower and do my own tree trimming. Keeps me young and healthy.

She great. She saw the wisteria up in the trees and clear the bases, trimming around the house and fence lines wow very good… Your just good. You have all the fun riding and she makes it prettier.
I completely understand why people get angry about their kids not helping I have heart failure and other problems and my kid who lives just 15 minutes away wouldn't come help me it you put a gun to them but oh boy just wait till they want something I have

It might not look pretty, but if you want to keep the dust out of your eyes while leaf blowing. Use a pair of skiing goggles. I've used them for years. And on the occasion they've saved my sight from flying debris.

Your doing a great job. May I suggest something? TO save on walking back an forth, you could spread out a tarp to lay the sticks on. Then you can drag the tarp across the yard to where ever you want to dump the sticks. I saw that on another lawn care channel, called lawn care juggernauts. His name is Kevin Hanson HAS a channel on U tube also.
His Dad has a Channel called Cabin on a Hill. His name is Robert Hanson. They are some mighty fine folks, like you an your Son. All that do this type of work are Blessings to all. Noticed the metal tower and am guessing it is for a CB antanna since I think I saw a satallite dish. When done at the end of the day, you both must feel a great satisfaction on a job well done. Bravo

Just because your a veteran doesn't mean you deserve respect. Most veterans earned it. There's plenty of good people who have served our country and were not in the service. Speaking from experience. Forth generation military family. There was a time men went into the military or jail, judges gave them a choice. That didn't mean the military made them better men, sometimes just meaner 😢

The quickest way to inspire lazy kids is tell them one time only what you want done, then give them a time line to start and finish. If they do not start the job on time, then a privilege such as video games, cell phones, car use etc. will be removed after 30 min for each the first time missed, after the second 30 min. passes another privilege will go. Be sure they understand until the job is done none of those privileges will be reinstated. I found this worked very well with my teenage boys much better then threatening, begging or otherwise bribing. If they expect for you to provide these privileges just because they ask then they should be required to at least earn the privilege.

Enjoyed watching the transformation, but I’ve got to admit I cringed every time you swung by the person working the ground with your mower chute pointing in her direction. I’ve had some awful mighty small sticks shoot like an arrow from my zero turn and small stones will break a window, and there she is, no eye protection, no dust protection. Don’t mean to sound like the safety police, but whew. Keep it safe out there guys and you will for sure keep up the great transformations!

You have to raise your kids with chores and instill a work ethic. If you let them lay around eating and sleeping that will grow up to be dead beat in most cases.
