Such a useful tut, thanks. I'm working with Image Media Source components, Sequencer requiring PNG image sequences to sync properly when rendering. Also, my video has an alpha channel, which I'm implementing using side-by-side in the video and using TextCoord nodes to map to the right UVs. Can you advise how I might make use of this alpha information, can't access the opacity channel with material in LightFunction mode. Thanks.
Hey man ! Love your vid! Really appreciate the tutorial! Was wondering if you knew how to make the projection square instead of circular, something for a cinema. Keep it up!
Why don't you replace spotlights with this?(PS. It is new feature which comes up with 4.20,while the tutorial was recorded with 4.19) docs.unrealengine.com/en-us/Engine/Rendering/LightingAndShadows/LightTypes/RectLights
@@soeyehtet3348 My texture just gets mapped to a quarter of the rect light with trailing edges. Sorry for novice question, but how to I make it use whole texture?
@Christopher Overstreet I had the same problem with rectlight, so I used a spotlight and put a plane in front of it, with a rectangular hole in the centre, to mask the beam.
