Thank you sir
Great tips, thanks for another knowledgeable video Gary!
Thank you Kash. Stay Slick 🤙🏽
Another great video, full of useful information. Always learning from your videos, something new to try. Stay slick, Gary. 👍
Thank you Ben. Stay Slick my friend.
This video was superb! Very informative as to all the steps.👍🏽
Excellent glad you liked it.
Thanks for the tips men 🙏🙏🙏
Absolutely bro 🤙🏽
Amazing Work!!!! 💪💪
Thank you bro
Didn’t know I should be doing this kind of maintenance every quarter. Wife’s Tahoe got coated in August so I guess it’s getting close to doing this. Been coating it once a month with the Touchless. Appreciate the knowledge.
You can get away with every six months I’m just talking ideally
Nice work brother.👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you
Great video
Thank you 🙏🏼
Great video bro
Thank you bro
Gary
I would recommend you to use some kind of protection when using chemicals
Like a face mask and fully enclosed goggles for your eyes
Yes, it may affect you on the long run that invisible mist to your lungs and eye sight
Invest on a good face mask for that specific chemicals that you use
Great video as always
Great advice. I’m not smart when it comes to PPE
Didn’t think ceramic coating would be this simple. How long did it take you to do this and you have to do it out of direct sunlight?
I just did a ceramic maintenance wash on this vehicle. The ceramic coating was done about a year and a half ago. Ceramic coatings are best done out of direct sun yes.
Try wash chems.
I’ve heard a few things about Wash chems staining trim and what not so I don’t think I’ll be trying it.
@@StaySlick dilution is key in my opinion.
But to each is own !
Great video Gary.
I've been looking for a video that is simple and effective. What do you dilute your acid cleaner at? Keep up the great video content
Thank you brother glad to help. I dilute this 3D acid 3:1
Hey G, Thank you so much for this awesome video, I always learn a lot from you and I really enjoy hearing your through process as you go through your details, because it makes sense on why you perform each step, again so helpful. Question, do you feel the mirror finish is enough as far as sealants go? I always feel like I need to physically apply and wipe off some kind of topper like Armor Shield Lite for example. Will the mirror finish be as effective? Thanks so much!
Thank you brother I’m glad to help. Honestly you can’t go wrong with spray on rinse off sealants as long as you reapply monthly. That way they never have a chance to break down. I would recommend touchless or DIY detail quick beads
Great video Gary! Where did you buy that step ladder?
I got it from my dad but he got it from Lowe’s I believ
@@StaySlick cool ,thanks
Hey how has your experience been using touchless in a pump sprayer instead of a foam cannon? Do you get the same results? I thought that was a really good idea btw!
Yea it’s been great so far. No difference in my experience.
What model step stool is that you’re using? I use a Home Depot one that isn’t quite tall enough as I drive a lifted truck and I’m short. That seems like it would be perfect.
It’s a Werner work platform from Lowe’s.
@@StaySlick Thank you sir. Definitely going to look into that.
Hey Gary, awesome video btw🐐
I couldn’t find the 3D acid in your bio 😢
Sorry brother here you go.

Are you around the SoCal area ?? I've been looking for a good detailer.
Hey brother I used to watch your videos when I was reviewing pomade. Small world. Unfortunately I’m not man I’m in Fresno but I would recommend that you hit up josh at Detail Green. I believe he’s in Carlsbad.
@@StaySlick Hey thank you ! that means a lot ! oh ok I understand I was looking at your work and really like your detailing, Its hard to find someone around here I live in the LA county area out in the desert, Thanx for the info brother.
Great video as always G! Just recently found out that there is a 3D shop here in my city! No more Chemical Guys for me! Question boss, so from my understanding about the iron decon its safe to use on a ceramic coated vehicle? I've heard many detailers say that it will break down the protective coating. Again great video as always. My apologies for my ignorance.
Thank you brother and not a problem. I’ve done this quite a few times and also been told there is no issues with doing this step as long as are smart with how we do it ( dwell time, not in direct sunlight.
How long is the protection on the spray and seal from magic? I use the sonax spray and seal but sometimes it leaves streaks on the paint looking to try something different
60-90 days
Nice video as usual… question When would you use touchless vs bead maker?
I don’t really use Beadmaker that much anymore. Touchless is ceramic so it has a longer durability than Beadmaker.
Oh ok and Thanks for the quick response!
Quick question bud, what platform step ladder were you using in video?
It’s a Werner work platform from Lowe’s.
Where can I purchase that pole mitt that you were using?👍
www.amazon.com/dp/B01N76S0A7/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_FD9NRH8SK0JCTJ9HAPTD?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=ml1&tag=stayslick-20
What's the iron remover you use?
Full strength or diluted?
Iron free by Nanoskin Full Strength
I need to get that ladder
I am also curious as to what ladder that is
@@owl8435 i think it's from lowes
@@serranosmobile yeah I just found it it’s called the Werner Work Platform there’s a few different sizes for it
Bingo 🤙🏽
Isn't the final look of the touchless sealant you added? Doesn't really show whether the coating survived all that decon.
Crystal serum light is a 9H 3-5 year ceramic coating. Of course it’s going to withstand decon. Remember these videos I make are topics I’m educated on. I would never do something I wasn’t skilled on when it comes to a customers $50k car.
@@StaySlick My point was, I get it that the coating survived but the viewer is only seeing the final characteristics of the touchless sealant you added toward the end, not the true coating itself. That's why coatings are over-hyped IMO. You have to painstakingly "maintain them" all the time and that's not what coating companies have you believe.
@@Tundra_Guy to be honest, you don’t have to maintain them at all but if you want them to last as long as possible, it makes sense to maintain it at least twice a year. I would definitely say that coatings are worth it.
What dilution ratio in the sprayer for the Touchless sealant at the end?
It’s roughly 8:1 I would say
4 oz to a traditional 1000ml foam cannon.
@@StaySlick Thanks. Which application method do you prefer? Foam cannon vs. sprayer?
Hey man, how’s the Active working out for you for mobile use? It’s tough to beat the reliability of the Ryobi, those things just keep on going!
True but this thing is a game changer so far.
@@StaySlick were you using the active on this job?
@@GiovanniGiorgo yes sir
Hey Man U didn’t even show us that what exactly u applied to the vehicle
4:20
How you loking the dewalt sprayer?
It’s nice. Well built but cumbersome. I dig the super high discharge rate
What mic you have?
Rode wireless go 2
@@StaySlick need to get them dji like mine
After these get destroyed maybe.
