Only problem with using the Swiffer in between is that many complain it leaves the residue that can really hurt the floor. Bona is known for being a true quality wood cleaner, not a cheap disposable product. If you go into flooring stores that that sell real wood floors, they usually sell Bona there which seems to say something. The only thing I don't care for with the Bona mop is how the velcro doesn't cover enough of the mop head, and there is always a front corner piece of the mophead that isn't attached and flops around. Choose whatever mop feels best to you for mopping but be careful of the cleaner you use. If I used a different mop, I would probably still buy the Bona cleaner to use with it.

Let me know if you find something better. Some times I think just vacuuming to get up grit and foot traffic debris is enough and, just use mop on areas that have sticky stuff on the floor. My LVP has a matte finish.
You really should only use the squirt where the floor is dirty. When this mop is wet it takes a lot of energy to use. When the floor is just dusty, just make sure the pad is damp. It then is easy to use and glide over the vinyl floor. If you are constantly squirting the floor, you will get exhausted and wasting the bono cleaner.
My mop does the same thing......the trigger handle sometimes take a few squeezes before the liquid shoots out. That's another problem....if I have the mop "leaning down", as in a mopping mode, it shoots the liquid so far out that I sometimes miss seeing it until I'm finished mopping. This is my 2nd mop. Because it also had the problem with the trigger handle, that I thought it had gone bad and replaced it, and got the same problem. I probably won't get another one like this when this gets too bad to use. Thanks for your video. My bottle is another problem.....that's why I was checking for reviews on the Bona. From seeing your video, I'm thinking the top of my bottle must be stuck in the mop because the liquid pours out when i insert it into the mop.
I ended up switching to a different mop. I reviewed that one as well and it works soooooo much better CLDream Spray Mop Honest Review ua-cam.com/video/AoJkqQtdh5w/v-deo.html
I’d like to see bottom of mop. What’s it look like? How do you clean it? Is it something you take off like a pad, or is it something you just clean? do you replace it or is it there all the time? I need a little more info please. 🙃
Hi Danielle... Quick question.. What does the cleaner smell like? It really is hard to find a cleaner that does not leave a residue and still cleans well. I don't have nearly the amount of floor to mop.. But the cleaner may work for me in a spray bottle.
My floors do the SAME thing! We moved in and out floors had been polished. One I used my swiffer it left an ugly mess, try using this mop with less chemical and more water! Hope this help!
I used the old Bona mop kit until it wore out. I purchased this one and it worked for about 8 months. I replaced the bottle this last time and now it only squirts 4 times and this won't squirt anymore. Removing the bottle and replacing it gets about 4 more squirts. So mine worked fine for about 8 months.
I haven't found ANY products that don't leave a film until I bought the bona last night!!!! It was soooo good

I recently reviewed a commercial grade mop that I really like. CLDream Spray Mop Honest Review

So not only do I agree with you, but I also found after a year it stopped working as well. So I’m testing out new mops

my brand new bona mop head keeps popping off...

Hello - wondering if this is the Bona Premium spray mop OR the regular one? Thanks.
I'm sold.... In Walmart and buying for 29.99. Love that is environmentally safe
Thank you I just ordered the mop and cleaner from Bona .
Did it work?

There is virtually no smell at all. If there is one, I can’t smell it

Thanks Danielle.. Have a great day! 🌹Very good review by the way.. Thank you!
You too
how many times do we clean by mop?3 times a week ?
Heard it leaves residue? Better than shaw products?
Is it easy to refill the bottle with bona wood cleaner solution
the bottom portion the actual wipe do you replace it or just wash it regularly.
It’s reusable so you wash it, I believe Bona says it can be washed up to 50 times.
Hi. Nice review. I used the swifter wet jet but it took the shine off the wood. Does this one take or leaves the shine?
My floors do the SAME thing! We moved in and out floors had been polished. One I used my swiffer it left an ugly mess, try using this mop with less chemical and more water! Hope this help!
So which swifter do u recommend please ? The purple or green one with wood cleaner
Actually I’d recommend a bona mop for actual mopping. For quick messes I’d go with green swiffer

Press your foot on the refill top and spray away.
Great floor cleaner but this refill issue is a pain!
I found pushing it back in helps it work for a few more squirts
Great video! We just bought one and love it!!! No streaking and it works perfect having a new puppy in our home. 💙
Great review! thanks for sharing:)
Thanks for watching! :)
Bona is better. I use it on a stone floor.
Bona lets you get more pressure into the floor to get more of a scrubbing action.
Thanks for the review.
This was really helpful! In Walmart buying mine now
great video thank you , i am now about to buy one to keep up with the new puppy prints lol
Thank you!
Is this leaving a soapy residue on your floor?
Not at all
I love your floors.
Iv got a bona
I have this mop. It doesn't spray very well. This mom is not that great. A disappointment.
The bona mop sucks. Stick with a traditional mop or hand wash with rags.
Actually I love my bona mop. To each their own I guess
No it wasn’t worth the money for me it stop spraying after like a month
run some clean water thru it...the spray nozzle dries up
Whoever installed your floor had no idea what they were doing.
That Was Not Very Nice Of You.
Oh, yes vacuum the floor first.
