I was going for every Thursday at 12PM but I kept missing Thursdays so I started doing every other Thursday 12PM. I have a full time job and freelance on the side, so I don't have a lot of time for video editing. I will try my hardest to get back to a every other Thursday at 12PM schedule. But as of now it's pretty much a "when it's done" approach :c
It was odd... I cut out the part where I walked for a bit behind him because there was no space between parked cars for me to get back on the road. He walked away like that ._.
There was some major sketch going on by the end of fixing that guy's flat. All dark clothes, hood up in the middle of summer, said pretty much nothing the whole time, the flower, the looking around, and then just skulking away when you were done... something just didn't feel right there lol
I agree with you, I got a very bad vibe from him and thought drugs or mental thing, but decided not to judge or get involved. Pumped up his tire and left.
Someone could be anxious for any number of reasons though, including mental health or substance reasons, either way the guy didn't seem a danger to anyone and the mentality of people "skulking"/being anxious and reserved + heavily clothes = suspicious/bad/nefarious has gotten people killed more than a few times who were actually doing nothing wrong and were just nervous and wearing what was comfortable or were dealing with people they felt threatened by (Eg, passing through an area where abusive family members live). Best idea is to still help while keeping your wits about you, a little basic help is often what gets someone out of whatever made them feel the need to cover up and be worried in the first place.
I liked this video man. Keep up the amazing content. I like real world videos where people don't just talk about what they did in the day, but they actually go out and get shit done.
Do not leave the channel, please. I like your videos and who will show me New York on bikes better than you !! And the bridge, that bridge so wonderful that I like to cross it thanks to you.
Gabriele Amenta hmm I find this comment interesting. How come you think they're so open? Are people not open around your parts? I always thought people in general are open and willing to share info, everyone wants to be listened to. Perhaps in the city people are open because there is anonymity in numbers. You will never seen these people again as there's millions of New Yorkers? Just a theory
I just came across your videos and I've been binge watching ever since I live in Chicago Illinois and the drivers in my city are pitiful pitiful aswell but it's kinda cool to see what people have to deal with in NYC keep it up your bound to go very far on this platform😊
Oh man when you cut back to the mechanic I died inside a little too funny. Im new but i like your content and you did a nice thing paying it forward man.
bearsandvodka if you have to begin a sentence with "i'm not being racist, but..." you should just stop and reflect and probably realize that in fact you are. (Even if you try not to be, it is still a certain mindset/prejudice/world view that lead you to think/say this. Realizing this is IMHO the first step.) To be honest, I also had the same thought as you for a second, but stopped myself and gave this guy the benefit of the doubt. And now back to the topic of these videos... biking :)
okay, i could just say that this dude looks like a bike thief (no more no less) and then i bet some smart ass gonna tell me: "yo, is it because of his skin color? that's racist!". I guess these words just reflect (modern) society as it is. realizing this is the first step to stop being a hypocrite. and this video is in fact about biking, cyclists and everything that surrounds em in a big city.
I was pissed because I went on a killer ride (one of those where you just feel RIGHT and flyyy) and the BOLT failed and only recorded the last 10 minutes. It was a bug with the heartrate monitor which they have since fixed. Honestly I love it now. Super easy to use.
Nice as usual and since I started riding I can relate to this stuff. Is there space in your playlist for some Sabaton? I have a couple of songs like The Last Stand and Primo Victoria that are really nice.
*kids freaking out at the bike outfit* Are you wearing full lycra? I've found that it's pretty rare to see people in full lycra gear commuting in big cities. Also, what do you use for your music?
Yes they really do. They minimize the friction of your skin on your handle bars. On my road bike I have good soft tape so I can ride with bare hands and get away with it. But on my beater bike I have tough plastic handles and they beat up my hands after 30-40 minute rides. In the summer you get glove tan lines though so I try to keep them off. Try a cheap pair (lots of decent options for $10 on amazon) and see what you like/don't like about them then decide if you want a more professional expensive pair.
Wow good catch! I looked back and that box was "Latest Upload" which in my mind when I started doing end screen(VID028) that meant VID027. But I was wrong lol. Went back and fixed them all thanks a lot Burke. You should be an editor or something xD
I do not live in our near downtown. I live in south Brooklyn near the water. *knocks on wood* I've never had a bike stolen because I'm very protective of them and don't lock them up longer than a few hours. I never lock up my main 2006 Raleigh at all, it's always near me. My UV Vodka beater is theft proof and minimalist so it doesn't have much to steal. But yeah try not to lock overnight.
In my experience mini pumps don't last long because they're just for emergencies. I had a lot of success with "LifeLine Performance CNC Mini Pump" www.wiggle.com/lifeline-performance-cnc-mini-pump/ It's only $10 on Wiggle.com and they have a 1 year warranty so if it breaks you send it back and get a new one or store credit. It has both presta and schrader valves and it's only like 6-7 inches long so you can carry it in your pocket.
Yeah sure, do you have any specific questions? I would say use the bare minimum, people tend to go nuts and show too much data. Also you can export them and carry them from computer to computer if you need to.
I have a 510 which has an extra hr sensor, no cadence senor sadly, and I would like to make a screen for Climbing/hill repeats (maybe different pages idk) and one for sprints/intervals. Also I've never really used the Workout function is it nice for intervals?
Ukraine. No I have not, didn't think anyone wanted to see it. But people keep asking to my bike and cam set up so maybe I will. Thanks for the feedback
No, my bike is very easy to ride compared to some other bikes I own. My 2006 Raleigh Cadent 4 is lightweight so I'm not carrying a lot of weight with me, and very fast and agile compared to a heavier bike.
Huh it wasn't that hard to figure out. Populating it now. Will add a link to all the videos in soon. Thanks! open.spotify.com/user/eugened7/playlist/0LsicdsVOXpO5zdvXKxo7M
no honking? :(
Nah, don't want to type-cast myself :D
Eugene D what is your upload schedule?
I was going for every Thursday at 12PM but I kept missing Thursdays so I started doing every other Thursday 12PM. I have a full time job and freelance on the side, so I don't have a lot of time for video editing. I will try my hardest to get back to a every other Thursday at 12PM schedule. Eugene D understadable💯
Eugene D Nobody with a full time job drives a bicycle to work :-P
I just lost it at intense pumping... LOL
:D
Get's his bike tire pumped back,
>Still walks with the bike on side...
It was odd... I cut out the part where I walked for a bit behind him because there was no space between parked cars for me to get back on the road. He walked away like that ._.
Eugene D he definitely seemed out of it. What was that whole rose part about?
Maybe he got rejected...
Maybe he got rejected...
Maybe the tire got punctured by the thorns of the rose that his loved one tossed in his face after rejecting him.
This is tragic. Poor fella.
Lol no honking but nice that you have that mechanic some beer :)
Man, world needs more riders like you! Great 👌
Thnx!
I feel like if you can't replace a bulb... You can't get a driver's license.
Eugene D looked like he was eying your bike there for a sec.. glad nothing happened.. that nigga looked sketchy as fuck

I liked this video man. Keep up the amazing content. I like real world videos where people don't just talk about what they did in the day, but they actually go out and get shit done.
"You are making money out of it?".. it's not about the content but the money. You can't share for the sake of it XD
Great video, keep it going!

How do I fix it 😂😂😂😂 dumb question
Kai Five I laughed at that lol, was that the first time anything of hers broke?
Send her in the auto shop for blinker fluid
That guy with the flat probably thought about robbing you, but he noticed you had a camera... 📷
Ummm?
I love your videos dude!!!! The horn is amazing. Keep up the riding!!
Thanks! Always love hearing positive feedback :)
"How do I fix it?"
Someone didn't read the owner's manual before operating the vehicle like they were supposed to. :-P
Do not leave the channel, please. I like your videos and who will show me New York on bikes better than you !! And the bridge, that bridge so wonderful that I like to cross it thanks to you.
It's incredible how socially open people is in your city
Gabriele Amenta hmm I find this comment interesting. How come you think they're so open? Are people not open around your parts? Thank you. I appreciate that.
120 likes and no dislikes? Let's change that. 121 likes now :D
Alright... who's the wise guy who gave a dislike. Tracking your IP now, the satellites are triangulating.
Thanks for the like :)
I'm not being racist or something but this dude with a flat looks like he might just stole the bike lol.
I only agree with you because after he fixed the flat the dude continued to just walk with the bike I was like, huh.... that's odd...
He is riding with a camera.
bearsandvodka if you have to begin a sentence with "i'm not being racist, but..." you should just stop and reflect and probably realize that in fact you are. Good tunes dude.
I feel like you're the only nice person in NYC besides that mechanic
Nah there's dozens of us here! Dozens!
how do i fix the light thats burned out? oh boy... lol
How do you like the Bolt? Mine is great now. GPS antenna died after the first week and Wahoo replaced it for me. Loving it so far!
I was pissed because I went on a killer ride (one of those where you just feel RIGHT and flyyy) and the BOLT failed and only recorded the last 10 minutes. It was a bug with the heartrate monitor which they have since fixed. Honestly I love it now. Super easy to use.
That one pissed me off too. It was a UCI sanctioned race as well. Said my HR was 0. I felt dead but I was alive lol.
Liking the musical taste you have. Big fan of Skillet here. :)
Hehe thanks
1:05-1:34 i was jamming out with those songs xD

Hah wild coincidence
Nice as usual and since I started riding I can relate to this stuff.
Is there space in your playlist for some Sabaton? I have a couple of songs like The Last Stand and Primo Victoria that are really nice.
Listening to Skillet... nice! PS I'm vacationing in New York soon, I'm wondering if you have any tips on not getting pick pocketed?

This dude's great
Женек здарова ! Давно не виделись
He’s listening to triple h’s theme 5:44😂
You must visit Holland !!
*kids freaking out at the bike outfit* Are you wearing full lycra? I've found that it's pretty rare to see people in full lycra gear commuting in big cities. Also, what do you use for your music?
Oh!
yeah, I think you just helped out a bike thief dude :D
why no honking
Do gloves pay off?
Yes they really do. They minimize the friction of your skin on your handle bars. On my road bike I have good soft tape so I can ride with bare hands and get away with it. But on my beater bike I have tough plastic handles and they beat up my hands after 30-40 minute rides. In the summer you get glove tan lines though so I try to keep them off. Ayyy Skillet
Eugene, for your previous video you put this one just so you know
Wow good catch! I looked back and that box was "Latest Upload" which in my mind when I started doing end screen(VID028) that meant VID027. But I was wrong lol. Went back and fixed them all thanks a lot Burke. You should be an editor or something xD
Do you live near or in downtown NYC and if you do have you had a bike stolen before?
I do not live in our near downtown. I live in south Brooklyn near the water. *knocks on wood* I've never had a bike stolen because I'm very protective of them and don't lock them up longer than a few hours. I never lock up my main 2006 Raleigh at all, it's always near me. My UV Vodka beater is theft proof and minimalist so it doesn't have much to steal. But yeah try not to lock overnight.
OH!
Is it a hand pump? Not sure which to get
In my experience mini pumps don't last long because they're just for emergencies. I had a lot of success with "LifeLine Performance CNC Mini Pump" www.wiggle.com/lifeline-performance-cnc-mini-pump/

Hey m8, any tips on garmin data fields.
Yeah sure, do you have any specific questions? I would say use the bare minimum, people tend to go nuts and show too much data. Also you can export them and carry them from computer to computer if you need to.

where are you from originally? and have you ever shown your camera get up?
Ukraine. No I have not, didn't think anyone wanted to see it. But people keep asking to my bike and cam set up so maybe I will. Thanks for the feedback
my bike stopped working heheh
How do I get it fixed? If you don't know where you can get basic car service done you shouldn't be driving.
Oof. I get 0.2¢ per click. And another guy I know gets 0.6
Why did you choose that beer? Lol
Sam Adams is a decent generic beer which I assumed would have a higher chance to satisfy his palate.
6:10 scared me
lol sorry
Listening to skillet 😁😁😁
What is he doesn't drink?
You should get a messenger bag
Hay dude what do you use to film these videos?
truck on bike = viral video
How long is that cut of Monster?
3:07
Is the bike your riding difficult to ride because there is a skinny Tire?
No, my bike is very easy to ride compared to some other bikes I own. My 2006 Raleigh Cadent 4 is lightweight so I'm not carrying a lot of weight with me, and very fast and agile compared to a heavier bike.
Do you have a playlist on Spotify
Unfortunately I do not. One day I will figure out how to use Spotify and make one. Currently my playlist is only on UA-cam. Sorry! :c
Huh it wasn't that hard to figure out. Populating it now. Will add a link to all the videos in soon. Thanks! open.spotify.com/user/eugened7/playlist/0LsicdsVOXpO5zdvXKxo7M
Eugene D cool! Thanks a lot
Are you using the Garmin Virb?
Yes my main camera is the Garmin Virb Ultra 30 set to 2.7K @ 60 FPS
