Maaaaate, I love your videos. I was an Aussie speed skate champ when I was 8 and unfortunately I got hit by a cop car while skating and it wrecked my back and can't skate anymore but your vids have inspired me to teach my grandkids how to skate!! 😊

Being a cyclist who enjoys just cruising around, trying roller blades seems like a great idea to switch things up. I just hope it's as easy as you make it look.
It isn't too hard to get decently skilled, but, like in Breaking Bad, going from 97% to 99% is a gap to rival the Grand Canyon. This guy is the Walter White of inline skating. I used to take jumps as a teen because I also jumped when skiing, so it came naturally. But this guy is light years beyond anything I could do. This was 500 years ago in the 1990s.
It's scary to get into when you first start because you feel like you'll fall at any moment (and you will - wear all the gear and it won't hurt) but once you get used to it it's the easiest thing in the world. But like someone else said, the kind of park skating these guys are doing (and especially CJ) is extremely advanced and takes years of practice.
It's great cross training for cyclists and runners alike. Both activities have the legs moving in the same line all the time. Without action, this leads to weak hips due to the lack of side to side movement; which can cause injury. There's a ton of lateral lunge-type movements you can add in the gym to help combat this, or you can just go for a skate twice a week and get a lot of the same benefits. Not to mention you have control over the cardio part just like running and cycling. If you want an easy day, keep it conversational and just cruise. Of if you want a puke your guts out interval session, you can do that too.

The sponsorships from the companies themselves aren’t enough because they can’t market the way the merch community can. That’s why boarding is big. The clothing companies. Look at Harley-Davidson. They sell more money worth of tshirts, coffee cups, trash cans, key chains, jackets, boots etc. than they do in bikes. Pick statements you guys made in this video and print em. Set up more of your friends at the park. You did AMAZING for not doing that all the time and I know you had fun. Share it with more people. People need to go to the skate park more regularly. I need to get some aggressive skates in a few months but just keep progressing my skills rn.

If you put magnets in your wheels, and have copper wrapped around iron as the wheel mount, you could generate electricity and have brake lights, turn signals, horn, and headlights.
Riverside looks so much nicer now compared to when I was a kid. They used to have this giant 12 foot blue vert ramp and it was the first one I tried dropping in on and totally beefed it 🤣 Looks like they replaced it with that sweet bowl

Mad skills. As a skater, biker, and car driver, I would really like to see youtubers with a strong following lead by example and wear lights at night, and a helmet. Cars don't want to hit you, but they don't see you as well as you see them from behind their windshields. I have seen a cyclist get killed due to bad lighting. Stay safe.

I started skateboarding when i was 14 and now all these years later after watching these videos I really want some blades again.😎🤘 I'd have no idea where to start though or what's even good. sadge
That elevator may be nostalgic to everyone but for me those types of elevators are the stuff of nightmares. When I was a kid visiting my brother in the hospital, the way they signal an elevator is not working is they pin this crumpled tissues in between the doors; the more the merrier. In my mind as a kid, a person is trapped in there and horribly crushed by the doors somehow.
