From 1944 to 1963 the tax rate on income over one million dollars was 90%. That would make America great again.
Actually, it never was. They had a lot of loopholes in the tax code that mean no one was paying that much in taxes. The revision lowered the tax rate but also eliminated a lot of the loopholes.
