      @@MrBradezell what went wrong with the last one?

    • @MrBradezell
      @MrBradezell 17 днів тому +1

      @@AsiaPacificGarden I’m not exactly sure. I styled and wired it but did not repot as I had planned to let it recover and repot in the winter. However, it died 2 months after I styled it possibly from theOklahoma heat combined with not watering enough I dont know.

    • @AsiaPacificGarden
      @AsiaPacificGarden  17 днів тому +1

      @@MrBradezell the heat would definitely affect it. You kept it outside, right?
      Temperatures hit 115 here last summer and we watered our spruce collection probably 4-5 times per day. Remember, if you have the right soil and drainage, you will have zero issues with over-watering.

    Excellent initial shaping without taking too much off. I've seen you work on other trees and you got a good eye, subscription earned!

    Was the apex cut down a few inches by the nursery ?

    • @AsiaPacificGarden
      @AsiaPacificGarden  14 днів тому +1

      @@The1superrussell not entirely sure if it was cut or damaged by something else. But it does look like an old scar.
