cant get it to log with qrz? any ideas? after putting in the call sign and doing the signal reports when i hit save it says done but does not show up on qrz
Well, it do not save directly to qrz.com. It saves it to a file in adi format. The file is saved at the location specified by the user at the top side of the interface. You can then import the file on qrz.com. This will save the logs there.
Nice! Will it work with handhelds like UV5R (Baofeng)? I have another question - I saw your video where you explained your setup. You told that your main transceiver was 10 W, I am very new to the hobby, my go to was ther UV5R whos label says it’s 8 W, if I invest in making a good antenna… will I get range to connect with HAM operators across India? I’m located in Chandigarh
No, this cable is for icom hf radios. The radio i mentioned was HF transceiver. UV5R is vhf/uhf radio which is useful for local communications within the city. You need HF transceiver for ur requirement. You need to be licensed operator to use any of these radios.
Well done OB...I bought a cable from Ebay with CH340 type driver, no luck being able to connect to HRD with that, might build what you did..73's
Would like to build one.
