You really love that Lepai amp! I have one but I don’t know if it’s still working! Haven’t touched it in years! When I had it, it gave my Nad run for its money. Can’t imagine a $25 amp doing that!
You should build those with the Rockford Fosgate 10" woofers. The frequency range is 65 Hz to 6500 Hz. But you would need to add high end. The transmission line on your box looks phenomenal. I would love a design of that sort. Maybe equivalent to $10,000 speakers.
There is an insect singing along with the jazz music, lovely. These speakers sounded just like I thought they would. Like speakers in a cardboard box, but it may be the recording doing it and not the speakers. I am working on building a box that's only 2.5 inches deep, so far no luck in any kind of sound quality and on build number 3. Using a 6.5 inch driver. I think maybe these drivers could work better in such a shallow box.
he basicly creates 2 different transmissionlines to lineary extend the the frequency to the lower end. lets say his (SMALL) chassis start to drop db at 100hz, he complements this with a transmissonline designed to enhance 85hz and another one to enhance 65hz. thatway he extend his range relativly linear down to 60hz.
There's some really awful interference noise during your demonstration. Either a problem with the source ( tablet ) or a ground loop between your pre and power amp.
I just can' see the point. The very small speakers I guess are of inherently low quality, & no amount of clever enclosure design will ever properly compensate. Start with good components always & be clear about the philosophy you intend to follow. BTW go easy on the dowels ..........................................................LOL
Always a very nice build but I don't see the point of spending so much energy and talent building a small enclosure for a small speaker that will never give a real good punchy bold sound. Whatever your skills a 3'' driver will always give a small sound with low efficiency.
Что бы делать колонку с лабиринтом нужен очень сложный расчет потому , что в противном случае этот головняковый скворечник может играть хуже чем обычная колонка.
Ничего вы не понимаете))) Звук, проходя через лабиринт, множество раз отражается, вбирая в себя душу дерева и постигая дзен. В итоге на выходе мы имеем волшебные акустические вибрации, пробуждающие глубинные подсознания мозга, и заставляют человека творить ................ новые скворечники с лабиринтами)))))))))))))))))))

Nice! Low wattage high efficiency cabinets. BIGGER does not always sound better. Pending the application.

Way too many dowels. You must love drilling. Not much structural load to a speaker. Use 2 dowels to locate the piece parts and glue.

Always a very nice build but I don't see the point of spending so much energy and talent building a small enclosure for a small speaker that will never give a real good punchy bold sound. Whatever your skills a 3'' driver will always give a small sound with low efficiency.
