I moved the hay bind tonight to a field I knew wasn't wet.....I'll be cutting tomorrow night. Thanks Will.

Rain stress is a great description! I’ve been missed by less than a mile multiple times in the past week.
Nice to see your mower chewing through that lodged hay.
Rain has no impact on freshly cut hay.

@@Rollinghillsfarmsmn Exactly. I'm not worried at all about what I cut and that little shower didn't really hurt the rest of it. The drying weather isn't all that great though.

A good old fashioned NW Oregon hay season.. honestly I miss them. Hit and miss, tarp the balers, tedd hay to hopefully get it dry before the next storm..

@@GosselinFarmsEdGosselin I like how our 20% chance of rain turned into 50% around noon today. I thought about baling and wrapping the stuff I cut yesterday but by the time I got home it was too dry to ferment good.

Good title. I don't remember having all of the weather problems when I was young. We probably had them. I just don't remember.
    Thank you Will.

@@brycewiborg8095 I remember some horrible years. One in particular that was similar to this year but usually the weather would stabilize somewhere around the end of June.

We had a pop-up shower yesterday as well, I thought it was supposed to be a dry day.

Been a tricky year. I just got done baling 8 acres of hay that got 4 inches of rain on it. Nasty 💩🤦‍♂️🤣🤣. Good luck with your hay
