Your videos always bring a big smile! Must remember that newel post idea, along with the alcohol and paint wash. The room looks so real, can easily imagine being there, although it would probably be way too hot and humid! More fun to just imagine🤗.

The room is coming along so nice, you could put a few small sticks or wooden spoons in one of the glass jars. Mum had some in her laundry room to mix soap flakes or blueing in her wash tubs. 😃 I just today put away her wash rack and two tubs away in my potting shed for the winter. I grow beautiful flowers in them in the summer. 🥰

It's so easy to get lost in playing with the minis! I thought I was working on mine for about an hour tonight- turned out it was almost two. 😳 My husband is a very patient man.

So cute! That little wooden box looks like it could be a tool box. You could wrap a little bit of brown paper around the iron handle to make it look like a wooden one.

I was wondering if the Irons came from old Monopoly games. LOL. The washtubs remind me of Charlie Brown Halloween special and bobbing for apples
YES those tubs do remind me of Charlie Brown now that you mention it! No those irons came from a miniature shop many years ago. They are old but not monopoly, but the monopoly one would work though!
Terrific, as always! Can you please share the approximate ratio of acrylic paint and rubbing alcohol you mix together to create the vintage look?

I mix such a small dab. Like 3-4 sprays of alcohol to a drizzle of black paint, the mixture should be watery looking not thick, like thin ink. I hope that helps,

I don't have to wait to move into the Rooming House! I'll live in the laundry room, it's so sweet and homey! 😂 You SHOULD do a video on your aging techniques, they work so well and it would be nice to have a general reference video. I'm sure you have a few techniques up your sleeve as well. Thank you for all the fun, you are a real Doll.
I definitely think a aging video would be good. I would like to slow down and show more detail of the process. It's on my list!

I think so too! Growing up it seems like everything was used or second hand. So things showed wear. When everything looks perfect and new it's seems odd to me🤭😆😃. YES! l Always want MY DOLLS to know they are LOVED! 💖😃💖
