Appreciate the shout-out! It's definitely fun modding these, but I still haven't found a solution for pumping HDMI out of the A1Up board... That would solve a lot of my problems.
Thanks Greg! I'm just finishing up my custom deck after being inspired by your videos. I'll be making a video soon. As for the video from the PCB. I Was able to get to output to HDMI and see it on the Dell monitor, but not the original LCD panel with adapter. So I might be swapping monitors to get this to work.
Do you think you could take the nba jam pcb and encoder and move it to the countercade version? Making nba jam countercade online? I was thinking about monitor on the countercade may have issues. Wifi button could be drilled and added to the countercade. Just seeing if there is any other compatibility issues.
You would have to see in the controller cable of the Countercade would fit into the PCB of the full Cab. You need it to turn on in steps, as the full cab turns the monitor on first then the PCB. It's a slide on power button. You could take the guts and use only player one and two. (not sure how many players) and that would work.
You have that sweet Costco/Sams’s Club model🏀🔥if you ever get rid of it, I want that riser😂
The riser is pretty sweet. Thanks for the comment.
