Wow Chris, you are such an inspiration!! Your videos are always such high quality. Thanks for all of the LA content. We just moved to LA and we've already used your videos a ton as a guide for what to do & where to go!
Hi Chris. Nice comfortable room. The view is very great The sunset must be really great to see. The location is convenient to most of the attractions. I agree that is the valet only parking is not great. I like to park the car myself too. Thanks for sharing.
Went to the In-N-Out there on my way to San Francisco from LAX! Pacific Coast Highway until Pismo Beach, and detoured up 101 through King City in a Camaro. A little bit of everything, beaches to vineyards, oil rigs and cows!
Chris, did they offer you any credit or points since the concierge lounge was closed? Have you ever stayed at the Marina Del Rey Ritz Carlton? Curious to see if it is updated or not.
Wish I had this video about a month ago. We stayed at the Marriott Courtyard Marina Del Ray, connected to the Residence Inn. Overall I think this Marriott you showcased is a lot nicer, even though older.
Warning: Mother's Beach parking lot (Marina del Rey Public Parking Lot 10) technically allows for parking up to 2 days in a row for ~$10/day. However, and a big however here, if the parking lot magically closes for a special event, you will get a $180 ticket (on top of $20 you pay for parking!) So, if you're going to park at Mother's Beach to stay at the Marriott, check to make sure there are no special events upcoming. They will close the lot with MINIMAL WARNING and you will get a ticket. They put up no parking signs 8 hours before a special event... not exactly fair when the pay machine says you can park for 48 hours and accepts payment for up to 48 hours. (The no parking for special event sign should have gone up at least 48 hours before the event.) I contested with the city and they automatically said the ticket was valid, in spite of evidence I submitted.
The views out of that balcony look amazing! It's too bad that you can't fit any chairs on it which takes away from the full experience. I can see how the hotel is dated though as I've stayed in some Fairfield Inns which are nicer. I'm glad the hotel looks like a good experience overall with it being somewhat close (but not too close) from the Venice Beach boardwalk!

Thanks James! Yeah. Valets just can take too long sometimes. And if I want to get something from my car it's a hassle with the valet
AWESOME JOB AS ALWAYS MR. RANEY!😀
Thanks trueblue!
I wanna stay there just for the view. Another great review.

Used to stay here on family weekend getaways from San Diego. That area south of Venice is nicer than the tourist trap part!
Cool review!
Great video. Any recommendations on nice hotels close by to Santa Monica pier?
The Loews Santa Monica hotel is really nice
Great Review 👍👍👍
Thanks Claire!

No credit. Breakfast at the restaurant instead of lounge access. And no.. I haven't yet stayed at the Ritz
@@YellowProductions fair compromise
Looks nice

I haven't stayed at that one. But in general I avoid Courtyards like the plague

Yeah.. I wonder about who decides to build such tiny balconies :)
NICE HOTEL THANKS
Thanks Linda
OMG that was renovated? That hotel is horrible thank you for the video that hotel looks like that is where sadness stays.
Interesting sound quality Chris. Different. You drowned out all the background noises. Either way, great video and thanks for your time.
I shot this one on my cell phone without any of my fancy microphones. So yeah. Audio isn't as great as it usually is
I love that area. The hotel next to mother's beach Called Jamaica Bay. It's pretty nice! Check it out
Thanks for the tip
Chris, why a S21 Ultra and not 12 Pro Max? I thought 12 Pro Max have better video
I'm all in on the Android eco system.
That was kind of a weird missed detail with the wallpaper.
