social experiment prank gone wrong epic gamer moments parents will never understand life hack
Ok but excusing the dad's actions by saying he was also abused is so messed up. Like, a majority of abuse survivors' worst nightmare to end up like their abusers, and abusive parents even moreso. I know continuing the cycle of abuse is not unheard of, but the fact that it's the excuse of the video and how his actions, like Beating His Son, are justified is just ridiculous.
For real, it's so insulting. I've been working my entire life to ensure I don't become like the people who hurt me, and that's the case for every survivor I know. This is just such an awful message to spread especially among young people
@@mazeltovcocktail2.0 I am also a survivor and I 10000% agree with you
Truth... I was beaten by my father repeatedly for less than the reasons given, and as a parent I'm still the exact opposite from mine. Stress and frustration isn't an excuse.
@@wannabeacowb0ysame here, i think this is spot on
"I chose to have a child and now I'm pissed off at that child cause I can't support them" shit like this infuriates me. I have zero sympathy for this father. If you choose to have a child, you need to be WILLING AND ABLE to make all of the sacrifices you have to in order to raise that child. The kid did not choose to exist, YOU made that person exist, they're your responsibility. End. Of. Story. The whole video sets repulsive expectations for society
This is the comment I was looking for. How can a father guilt trip a child about not being able to afford his wife's medication, how is that the kids fault in any way. I'm broke as hell and I've had my daughter offer to help me make money but I refuse cuz it's not her job to take care of us, it's mine. These videos are clearly made just to make you mad.
Im so sick and tired of seeing these kinds of shitty parents and tears me up when they break the kids down until they believe the projection
Even if he hadn't physically abused his kid, he still didn't provide criticism. He actively crushed his dreams, belittled him, made him feel worthless and alone, and since apparently this has happened before, he's a controlling pos too. Even if the weird belt scene wasn't there, he still isn't coming from a good place. He's projecting and abusing his kid emotionally so the cycle his dad started with him can continue. Why did this video need to happen? The moral is completely wrong and the writing and entire video is just... neck-retreating cringe.
Facts.😎🦄
when the belt beating happened right in front of the camera I foolishly assumed the "moral" would come from the kid posting the vid and going viral with it, while the dad loses his job from the public outcry it causes. would've been the cherry on top if the mom divorced him too and the mom and son lived happily ever after with that viral UA-cam money. but nah, apparently physically/emotionally abusing kids is completely justified if you happen to be having a rough time. :u
@@keppakappa5033 right? Honestly I'd be cheering for this cringey channel if they did that. This idea that just because you were abused, or you've had a hard life, abusing others is suddenly justified infuriates me, if they had addressed that, my entire life savings, all $23.11 would be donated to continuing this channels work of ripping off dhar mann
The sad thing is how many people do say their abusiveparents were coming from a good place.
i have nothing to add except to say this is how my mother raised me. crushed my dreams, made me feel alone, destroyed all my friendships, is controlling etc.,
Why did we need the child abuse scene? We really did not need to have that be a part especially if the message wasn't gonna be that the dad is an abusive asshole.
Wait, who is random racist man who collects literally all of their bills? Car payment and mortgage all just go through Dave over here?
Loan shark ig
@@sourgreendolly7685 loan sharks have really elevated their office space
Seems like a scam
I was also confused by that part because he was talking negatively about immigrants, but the racist bill collector looked more like an ethnic minority than the dad did.
@@FrenkTheJoy I’ve known other POC who are anti-immigrant. Sometimes it’s your own people as they say.
Man what.. as an abuse survivor it’s really disgusting to watch them excuse abuse + sympathise with the abuser??? What was the moral of that honestly
God I'm glad I'm not the only one. This shit was WAAYY too much like how my father was and wtf??? How is this a video??
@@AracheNerd Yea you’re not alone dude! It’s shocking that people make content like this & think it’s okay fr
Me too. My dad is pretty much exactly like the dad in the video, it kinda freaked me out. The whole video felt messed up
Listening to the mom excuse the abuse away was very triggering
@@sarahh2072 I know, my mom always did that
The moral of this story is that child abuse is actually NOT the fault of the adult doing the abuse but OBVIOUSLY the child who just makes them so mad! Clearly! Haha! 🙄🙄🙄
I love Jordan's content so much. I also hate the whole "abusive dad is good actually" video... like, uh, from personal experience, the dad would still be verbally, emotionally, and physically abusive to the kid even IF they helped pay off the debt, the dad would find something else to blame on the son. Selling all the kid's shit, demeaning him, the mom being the one solace for the son? Yeah uh. What the fuck. That video is so insensitive.
fr life lessons with luis stop making videos challenge wtf is wrong with u
It has a complete lack of understanding of abuse
Sorry you had an abusive father, you’re gonna have a greater life than that man, just by not being abusive you have grown far more and lived a far more accomplished life than him.
They can NOT go from a shot of the dad taking off his belt to a shot of the son crying on the bed. It did not look like just a beating...
oh my god i’m so glad i’m not the only one who thought this i was so confused why jordan hadn’t said anything
Yeah! I was like WOAH wtf is going on here?!
I haven't seen the original video...Have you?
Seemed to me like Jordan cut out a second or five.
i was watching this stream live and yeah, a bit of it was cut i think because it was just really insensitive and could be triggering i think
@@maeve5023 that, and because youtube wouldn't like it
just would like to point out that the landlord(?) can be sued for harassment and racial discrimination on that one interaction alone, and it would have ended the video much faster and made more sense
Yeah that could've been the viral video and save the family. Dad is still abusive tho so that wouldn't be solved but...I got nothing, I don't know where I was going with this sentence lol.
jarvis and jordan together will actually cure my depression oh my god
Well you're in luck
It feels like getting to leave quarantine to see your best buds again
I can’t wait!!! 😭🎉
Sameeee
Correct
He has a successful construction company and needs to beat his child and sell his stuff? This is def a child’s understanding of how anything works. Also, maybe yelling and abusing his family isn’t good for his wife’s heart.
the way they tried to give the dad a redemption arc five minutes after he beat his child like what???
Wait.... how'd he shoot the 'viral video' when his dad sold his camera? How much AV equipment does this kid have?? Anyway, much loe, Jordan.
Maybe he used his phone? Idk, i don't want to use to much brain energy on the video
@@SArt26 I think we see him actually using the camera around 7:00
@@SArt26 That's the thing, you see in the video where he unscrews a brand new Canon from the tripod in his little light ring and takes the SD card out. WTF? 🤣
Also on the first post-vlog reverse shot you can clearly see that the camera is turned off and the lens is retracted. If my kid were trying to make UA-cam videos by talking into a turned-off camera I would be upset at him too (but more upset at myself, because I raised an idiot)
Jordan Adika questions the Dhar Mann conglomerate, INSTANTLY regrets it
Jordan says he’s going to murder someone then enters Jarvis’ house
They kind of ruined any attempt at a message by just totally glossing over how his dad is physically and emotionally abusive. And his comment about getting to do what he loves isn't exactly accurate, since, had he not managed to make the money, his dad was just apparently going to keep selling his stuff. He essentially had to pay for his father to _hopefully_ not abuse him. Like I'm genuinely concerned that Luis doesn't understand abuse or its effects.
On a significantly smaller note, who is that guy that he is collecting debt for a car payment, mortgage and an advance? Does this man just collect the money for all of the family's bills? Why does he also have the ability to just kick that guy out (presumably of his house)?
"Dark timeline Griffin McElroy." Okay, hold on, that was incredibly accurate. 🤣
It really is 😂
I was hoping some else would mention it. Jordan, Mbmbam collab confirmed?
Parents like that don't change. Get out and surround yourself with people who actually care about you.
I would have thought that the viral video was going to be about how his mom was sick and they needed help. not my dad is totally a good, but misunderstood guy.
This is one of those "how did none of the people involved with this realize its a bad idea" moments. Like not only did the 4 actors look at this and say "yup I am happy with my part in this" but also probably an editor and whatever script writers they have.
"Hey kids, if your parents physically abuse you, they probably had a good reason to do so! Give them money and maybe theyll stop :)"
JORDY BEING TELEPORTED TO JARVY IM YELLING
😭😭😭
jorjar's bizarre adventures
Was I the only one who literally screamed when Jordan teleported to Jarvis' place? Nope? Just me? Lol it's nice to see y'all back together!
He delivers the ending monologue like he’s learning to read
Frustrating that it's mostly gullible old people and children who watch these videos...child abuse is usually not the moral of the story, is it? Odd take hey
He had to pay the guy. You know, the guy you pay for your mortgage, tuition payment, and everything else. That's how bills work, right? You pay them all to the same guy.
My dad may have tried to make me get in the car with him while he was drunk but shit he was just worried about me walking home 😇
aw what a kind and thoughtful person 😍😍😍😍
(i am not being serious)
@@TheLetterbomber top 10 father daughter bonding moments 😎
The two of you in the same room; who knew we’d get this far into the simulation
I did NOT expect the first video to be so triggering. It actually really freaked me out and I had to stop watching immediately. That's crazy that there isn't a warning put on it at all
can we talk abt the fact that the mom gaslit the son literally saying "your father was abused too, he carries more weight then you. he had it rough so you should be grateful to him" like um 😶
son: "I just hope you can understand that"
dad: "L+Ratio+no camera"
I feel like when jordan first started this channel he seemed a little shy maybe awkward sometimes and i feel like i remember him commenting on how he wasn’t good at this stuff or something but wow hes opened up hes so freakin funny the edits the jokes u love to see it i cant wait to see more!! :)
The best part was when you transported away from that mess of a video into the safe haven of Jarvis’ room
Oh god, that was awful. (Not Jordan, he's delightful). Did Luis really just try to make us empathize with an abuser and make it seem acceptable? wtf...
If you thought that this video was bad; Generation Hope has an exact same video. But, the dad doesn't beat his son. He takes a hammer to his sons camera.
@@joanpasley5454 Is that another one of these Dhar Mann wannabees?
@@joanpasley5454 I mean, that dad is still an asshole, but I think beating your child is worse than breaking their things. Both still shitty and the children should get out of those as soon as they are safe to do so but yeah. no winners lol
Is this video saying that all it takes for a kid to stop his dad beating him...is to be a successful UA-camr and pay the bills that his "well-meaning" dad can't?
that seems,,,, concerning
This is the first time I’ve seen a Cliffhanger in a reaction video. Groundbreaking content from the Wolf Pack as always.
Its a weird time when someone sees a Dhar Mann video and says "hold my beer"
If you thought that DM and Luis was bad; you should watch Generation Hope. They make Dhar and Luis look like Disney.
@@joanpasley5454 :0
How was he recording after the dad sold the camera? Does he had several cameras? While his family was struggling he just kept buying and buying cameras????
Maybe he had secret ones elsewhere, knowing his dad would try to destroy it at some point
@@Garden0flowr they couldn't afford his mom's heart medicine and he kept buying cameras and stashing them away like a squirrel waiting for the winter
I ended up watching these videos in reverse but the way it ended was still fucking dope.
Same!
I just love the commitment to continuity on the part of J&J *chefs kiss*
yeah good job praise the man that made your life awful instead of the mum that supported you!!!
yeah because taking an already poor concept and copying it is surely a good idea. thank you dhar mann clones!
liking the video simply for the end transition. that, folks, is what we call CINEMA
Yoo I’m so glad Jordan is back in America again! I’m not sure of the full story or if he’s finally able to stay there but I’m excited anyway! :)) I hope we can finally have some Sad Boyz in person again !
That intro was pure cat behaviour
the intro is my sleep paralysis demon checking up on me with the music and all
I went from so sad at the end of the video to squealing and clapping HOORAY FOR FRIENDSHIP
The story makes absolutely no sense. The kid has a play button, and even if he didn't like plenty of people work and do youtube. And who is going to pay 2k for a used camera on short notice? And i doubt the money gets deposited that quick. And like who is this dude they are paying? A loan shark or something?? Why else would you be paying one dude for all of the things? I am so confused.
I was very confused by the payment situation also 🤷♀️ who WAS that man?!
@@stephspoilsstuff My HC is that the kid was confused so gave ALL the money to the guy because he assumed all bills go to the same person.
Is Jordan going to make the nickisnotgreen joke or should we?
Jordan you can’t just introduce the Sad Boyz cinematic universe like that man😭
Angry Dad was almost on point but his shirt wasn't tucked in. Still a decent effort. I give him 4/5 snap-back hats, or a 32.7 if you're using the Denim Scale
3:45 why tf did they have to make it seem like the viral video was something for an 18+ site
I like that they both groaned as they sat down at 7:42.
"He's built like a backslash" has absolutely ended me and my bloodline. That's the funniest way to describe anyone.
ok this has nothing to do with the actual content of the video but I thought Jordan's jacket looked cool so I tracked it down and I thought I'd share it in case there are other freakos that were curious
But ye it's "BDG Green Twill Varsity Jacket" from Urban Outfitters
Couldn't stop smiling when I saw the SadBoyz reunited!!
Randomly re-watching old Jordan vids at 3a while working on my lecture slides and my laughing is def giving noise violation lmao 🤣😭💀
Dang man even if his dad didn’t think he’d make money, and no one sees his videos, it’s a chill thing to do, it’s just a way to practice confidence and comedy 😨
The fact that Jordan knows who the mcelroys are makes me so happy
i know it kinda surprised me but made me smile :)
Best ending ever. Literally made me lol
Mom that's supposed to be one of the good guys justifies abusement because "he's had to give up so much to support us".
*Jordan Adika questions the Dhar Mann copy, INSTANTLY regrets it...*
Wish I watched this one before the Jarvis one - that ending was perfect!
the ending... best transition of all time no one can do better ever
THAT ENDING! 😀
I can't explain how anxiety inducing and uncomfortable that intro and outro edit made me feel hahaa
-Bawk bawk awooo wolf pack.
I feel like I have been missing out on the proper UA-cam experience.
Jarvis has Never once sent me a memory card with the video on it...
Everyone boo this man!
Jordan: …an audience? ew!
Me: omg that’s us! 🥰
This whole video is wild. Excusing physical abuse. But the... omg the bed shot implied something so wrong
I imagine that camera wasn't even a gift from the parents or anything
The world has gone so damn tone-deaf, cringe is now physical pain.
11:43 is essentially what a lot of children of abuse are forced to come to terms with
edit: not the good guy part just that in a lot of circumstances shitty ppl do not have a very good "best"
i love this video, and i love the ending so much, i hope you can keep posting regularly bc i love this
"I'm, like, a maître d." I burst out laughing in the metro
I also expected the extreme when he started to take the belt off.... I blame the world we live in...
The ending was so personable, and sweet! I respect your transparency.
I love your content please dont stop

i feel like this sounds manipulative
nah that abuse scene was too real
I'm here for a Griffin McElroy reference 7 whole days out of the week
I just watched the Jarvis Johnson Gold! video with you not too long ago, and seeing this ending really tied it all in. Loving it and the Jojo reference as well
ah, nothing better than threatening to abuse your child over their dreams
