I agree on the idea it should be buffed to 3-4%. I mained Yoichi for a while (and still play him a lot, but not so much with only his perks) and found that the 2% absolutely can make the difference in a loop... If it's already a really strong loop and you had the foresight to place it there beforehand. In my opinion, a mini-hope that you can place in an area for your team is a super cool idea, and how easy it is for killers to find boons doesn't make it feel too ridiculous. As is, as a survivor it feels like you need to bring a bunch of boon perks just to make taking Dark Theory worth it. Enjoyed the video!
@@IdleInsomniac I'm very glad you enjoyed the video!❤️ your opinion has been noted and tbh I do agree that the 2% can make a difference BUT taking into consideration that you have to set it up and you're most likely gonna find a totem in the corner of the map, some maps have a totem in main building if it's in the middle of the map that is so I think a 3%-4% haste will make the perk actually worth running and gling through all that set up
Boons in general suck and thats ok. I dont want them to be overly strong like how they were on release. The only good boon is exponential but I would say its actually healthy for the game
@@ihavebraindamage4445 the thing about expo is that I find it useful mostly in a survivie with friends. Honestly Circle of Healing I would argue is still good it's just no one likes to have to look for totems and bless 24/7
@@Andrekenz expo still can be used in soloQ as just a replacement for unbreakable. Imo circle of healing sucks all that set up for 50% healing on top of the fact ik survivors will literally just run to the other side of the map to get healed in range when you could have healed them by the time they did. literally just run botany, we'll make it, autodidact or resurgence I genuinely think that circle of healing is a D tier perk.
I think it should have two buffs. One, the range is increased to 28 meters. The fact you have to loop within the radius can make use of the boon a bit challenging on a lot of maps. This would help a bit on that issue. Two, increase the haste to 3%. The perk still wouldn’t be great, but it’d be more usable than it is now.
Oh hey here's an idea, it could ramp its protections based on how many times people have been hooked. Giving something like 5% or more for the last chase of the game could be interesting imo.
Boons are pretty strong if you play as an swf, so is Dark Theory. 2 Percent is really strong because, in some cases you can reach a window or a pallet you wouldn’t normally reach. This Totem also goes through multiple floors, like Midwich or The Game. And don’t forget about 110 Percent Movement Killer like Huntress. 2 Percent is really really strong and I don’t think it needs a buff
@@DwainiumB we would not? Made for this was problematic because the moment you got injured u got value, dark theory needs set up and it only works in the boon's radius so
I think its bad because you need to find a totem thats located by strong set ups, like main building. That 2% at tiles like shack, main & certain jungle gyms seem very strong. Not a boon fan. As killer, they are extremely easy to find. Very possible that the boon wont effect the trial in any way, effectively wasteing time. At that point, id rather just spend time on gens. If the boons dont have a broken effect, it sucks in general. Most hexes change the game for survivors and may be the difference between winning and losing. Such as Devour, 3rd seal & Noed. Boon dont feel strong, waste time, may actually be useless.
@@SweetLeavesXbox1 I agree, sadly if boons are not slightly 'OP' then they aren't really worth bringing sadly, unlike hexes. Hexes are all strong cause they require no set up and once the hex is broken it's over. Boons can't be as strong because u can keep replacing them over and over
The issue with boons for survivors is they shouldn't be strong and can't be allowed to be anywhere near the same level as killer hexes - there's four survivors. But this makes them near useless, when circle of healing was strong it was ruining the game, now I don't see it anymore because it's not broken. Boons have just failed for survivor
Boons in general need to have to have the same range. Dark Theory should increase a survivor's momentum the longer they run within the boon's radius. When they run fast enough they can break pallets and walls, but doing so puts the survivor in the Broken state.
I'd call it more of a support perk to buff your haste build if you run otr and mft and you get tunneled this boon with the rest of the perks makes you 5% faster, making any killer kinda 110% and also hope exists, I can guarantee you that nobody runs this perk on its own.
