ニアがGWで変な成長を遂げてしまいました。

◆ 概要
2023年8月、イタリアングレーハウンドとの生活が始まりました。
出会いの三カ月前に、17年一緒に過ごした愛犬が旅立ち、傷心の中で最高に可愛いイタリアングレーハウンドの女の子に出会いました。
ニアを飼い始めて35週間（8ヶ月）が経過しました。
GWの長期休暇が終了し、日常に戻りました。ニアは、GWで何かが変わったかのように成長したので、今週はニアの変化について、まとめてみました。
1つめは、階段を下りられるようになったことです。GW前は、家族が階段で下りてしまうと、鳴きながら迎えに来てもらうようになっていましたが、GW後は怖がりながらも階段を下りてついてくるようになりました。勝手な推測ですが、ハイキングで狭いルートや下り階段を経験したので、ニアの中で怖いハードルが下がったんだと思います。
2つめは、自宅から脱走をしてしまうことがあったことです。階段を下りられるようになったことで、玄関までアプローチできるようになり、ドアが開いたタイミングで外へ駆けだそうとする機会が増えました。直近では、たまたま玄関のドアを開けて、植木に水をあげていたら、忍者のように静かに階段を下りてきて、外へ脱走しました。幸い、自宅近くで捕まえられたので、大事には至りませんでした。
最後に、歯磨き後に歯ブラシでの頭皮ブラッシングを求めるようになりました。これは、全く理由が分かりませんが、歯ブラシが終わってまったりしていた時に、頭をこすりつけてきたので、歯ブラシで頭をゴシゴシしてあげたら、それが気持ち良かったようで、嫌がることもなく、なすがままに歯ブラシマッサージをされるようになりました。

The GW long vacation is over and we are back to our daily routine. Nia has grown as if something has changed during GW, so this week I summarize some of the changes in Nia.
The first is that she is now able to go down the stairs; before GW, she would squeal and ask to be picked up if a family member went down the stairs, but after GW, she is now scared to follow us down the stairs. It is a selfish guess, but I think that the hurdle of fear has been lowered in Nia because she experienced narrow routes and down stairs on the hike.
Second, there were times when she would escape from her home. Now that she is able to go down the stairs, she is able to approach the front door and has more opportunities to try to run outside when the door opens. Most recently, I happened to open the front door and was watering the plants when he quietly came down the stairs like a ninja and escaped outside. Fortunately, I was able to catch him near my house, so it was not serious.

Las largas vacaciones de GW han terminado y hemos vuelto a nuestra rutina diaria. Nia ha crecido como si algo hubiera cambiado en GW, así que esta semana he resumido algunos de los cambios de Nia.
El primero es que ahora es capaz de bajar las escaleras - antes de GW, chillaba y pedía que la cogieran en brazos si un miembro de la familia bajaba las escaleras, pero después de GW le daba miedo seguirnos escaleras abajo. Es una suposición egoísta, pero creo que debido a que experimentó la ruta estrecha y bajar escaleras en la excursión, el obstáculo del miedo se ha reducido en la mente de Nia.
En segundo lugar, a veces tenía que escaparse de casa. Ahora que puede bajar las escaleras, puede acercarse a la puerta principal y tiene más oportunidades de intentar salir corriendo cuando se abre la puerta. Hace poco, casualmente abrí la puerta principal y estaba regando las plantas cuando bajó tranquilamente las escaleras como un ninja y se escapó fuera. Afortunadamente, pude atraparlo cerca de mi casa y no resultó herido de gravedad.
