It's been a year since Nia was born!

Looking back at Nia's puppy days now that she has turned one year old, we've also started transitioning her to adult dog food!

Nia has been with us for 40 weeks. In this week's video, amidst the amusing posters of the prank-filled Tokyo gubernatorial election, Nia wakes up before 6 a.m. and wakes up the lowest-ranked owner with her ear attacks. Due to these early mornings, I end up sleeping like the dead on the train home. Nia also had an accident recently; while rolling around on her favorite blanket, she accidentally lay on the carpet roller and lost some fur.
Nia has also turned one year old, so we've started transitioning her to adult dog food. We began with wet food made of meat and cheese, which Nia loves, and we're still figuring out the best combination for her. Watching Nia at one year old brings back fond memories of when she first came to our home as a puppy.
On days off, I take Nia for early morning jogs to tire her out thoroughly. At first, she is full of energy, but after running for 20 minutes, she starts begging to be carried!
