Hi, If you are using regular ink in a fountain pen, you may want to use it after painting in watercolour and letting it completely dry. This is because regular fountain pen inks are non waterproof. You can also use other types of pen. It is really a personal choice. But what is important is to have waterproof ink if you'd like to start with the sketch first. And fun fact,I just started to watch some watercolor vidéos on UA-cam last 2 weekend and there are really few vidéos I really liked but one of them was of cone flowers, and I just réalised now also that it is your cone flower video.
