RARE COMPLETE SPECIMEN found at The Boneyard ALASKA... ICE AGE FOSSIL HUNTING

  • In this video, the Gold Daughters (Jordan and Ilaura) and their Gold Mother engage in a far too dangerous task in hopes of recovering an Ice Age Steppe Bison sacrum. The sacrum is in ice underneath a thawing overhang and is still attached to the lower three vertebrae. We have never found a specimen still attached like this in the past 15 years of exploration.
We call this area, "The Boneyard" because the density of bones scattered in one small area. The Boneyard is located on a patented gold mine and all bones we find are added to our private collection. In the past 15 years we have searched the area a size of half a football field and recovered over 250,000 specimens dating back to the Pleistocene Epoch. The site is one of the most significant digs for recovering Pleistocene bones in the world.
See more of the finds on IG @theboneyardalaska and more of our adventures prospecting for gold and Ice Age bones @GoldDaughters

Your POPS on Rogan led me here! You guys are great! If I had to guess major flood with all that vegetation and destruction. March 27, 1980, When Mount St. Helens erupted that same kind of destruction happened from the flood waters everything in its path was destroyed. Large trees snap like twigs from the force of it so any animals or humans would not have a chance. From what your father explained on JRE the timeline, the animals, the vegetation, all in that one place would have been the perfect storm of apocalyptic events.

Interesting site extremely important. Back in the 1970s I acquired a collection of fossil bones from the Tannanna River watershed collected in the 1940s gold dredging operation by a private gold prospecter. It included specimens of mammoth, steppe bison and reindeer. Unfortunately these fossils from that time period of fossil collecting were covered with shellac that ruins C14 dating. It's good to see Explorations for further specimens in this area as it's been over looked for many decades. Hopefully new sabertooth cat Homotherium specimens are recovered as these Scimitar toothed cats are extremely rare and will require a site that is producing this amount of fossil material. Fantastic to see P. atrox, C. dirus and Arctodus specimens turning up.

I think if I had a one time chance to travel through time, and I knew what date, I may use it to go see what the heck happened lol. I’m sure I’m way off but I keep picturing a huge avalanche burying all these animals during a migration or something, then the snow covered them and just kept covering them for years and years, fun to think about anyway.

Have you guys thought about taking a 'section' out rather than just washing the entire face. That way you'd get a better idea about what may have happened there.

You should have dad build you some sort of cofferdam to keep you safe from cave ins. I have seen at least a half dozen deaths from trench cave ins here in 45 years. Perhaps something tunnel shaped which could be jammed in against the ice leaving your fossil exposed and an escape route. I would hate to see any of you guys get hurt.
If I get up there this summer I might need someplace to swing a detector, any ideas?

In several places in the world, such as in Alaska, we find huge amounts of bones of various animal species. This includes animals that went extinct long ago. These boneyards are the remnants of a recurring natural disaster. This disaster recurs every few thousand years and causes a huge tidal wave to sweep across the earth. That tidal wave drags everything loose with it, including people and animals. If that wave hits a mountain ridge, the bones may remain at the bottom of the mountain. To learn much more about recurring floods, the re-creation of civilizations and its time line and ancient high technology, read the e-book: "Planet 9 = Nibiru". It can be read on any computer, tablet or smartphone. Search: invisible nibiru 9
