Critique-ing your own swing and making swing tweak improvements in "real time" is really great. I always wondered about your wrist "twirl" at the top. Didn't look too good to me and now I know why. It slows down the club head speed as one would suspect but you proved it in about 20 seconds of video. Really great stuff!
Matt, I started doing this for my swing this year. Not using an app, just video and comparison. It's changed my game off the tee for sure and now I'm doing it to learn how to shape the ball a little bit. I definitely think it's secret sauce worthy! Great video.

i was 5 over after 9 at my last tournament then ended up with 90, not my best but usually it’s 99 or 100 so the 24 challenge is working. I know i can shoot 70’s no problem it’s just a matter of putting it all together. thanks for the help matt ❤️
I bought the blast motion based on the last driver video you did. I've been working with my instructor trying to hit up on the driver but I really can't feel it when I do. Tried it last night and it was a great bit of kit.
Have sort of same issue at the top. Been trying to maybe shorten my swing or find a que to know when to stop with the swing so I don't do that. I notice when I don't do it, how much more solid I hit the ball. The V1 app is good, but a good alternative if you're looking for it is, Golf Swing Analyzer on android.
Matt, your diagnosis of your own swing reminds me ALOTT about the youtube lesson series LarryCheungGolf went through with Matt Blois the TXG dude, highly suggest you check that out brother, i especially remember because he had Matt coming up and literally has his right hand "pushing up" and holding his hand flat at level state like hes a waiter holding a plate not wanting to drop it ;)
As per usual, awesome vid, man… thanks! When I square up my hips to start the downswing and get a little shorter, I seem to chunk it. Do I need to speed up my hands to fix?
Matt: watch your swings again. your losing your spine angle during the backswing(kind of standing up), which flattens out your shoulder plane and makes the club go across the line. If you make the same swing and maintain your spine angle, club will not be across the line. I do the same thing when I try to hit it hard off the tee, have to make extra manipulations to make it work which is not the best thing in the world for the golf swing. Love your vids, especially course vlogs. All the best
I have the EXACT same issue with my swing, the only thing is when I fix it its on the range. Then I go to the course and I instantly go back to my normal swing.

How do you get your smash factor so high? 1.48!?! I’ve been using the practice bays at the PGA Suoerstore for over a year and I’ve always maxed out at approx. 1.43. All other numbers were excellent, low backspin and side spin, proper part and launch angles but just cannot top 1.43.
V1 has basic free app for windows pc & Apple IOS...the upgrade doesn't add much except split screen...but you can mail your swings to your pc or another instructor. Instructors can send you a return video with comments on the swing. I downloaded the app to my surface pro & iphone...so now I can waste time at home looking at all the warts of my swing on a large monitor....Mr SG this was one your best "how to" videos yet, we suffer from the same swing problem and I try to think laid off like Raymond floyd (maybe I'm a bit older)..I actually came to a differnt conclusion...I needed PGA instructor assistance to help me fix my flaws after trying this video self correct method...but I do agree that you've got to understand your swing flaws.
@MrShortGame Golf... Matt, your wrists are not causing you to be across the line at the top... the root issue is that you are opening your right shoulder and moving your upper bicep out away from your chest, kind of like the motion you would do if you were on a chest fly press machine. Your right upper arm needs to work more up/down in the backswing not away from your body to the right. Trying to fix this by manipulating your wrists is a bandaid fix that will never work long term.
Hey Matt, looks like you might be loosing some grip pressure in the pinky and ring finger in your left hand, once you start getting past left arm parallel? Any ways the new mizuno 921 are coming out, let's see the review!!!!
Good video matt. I started using my phone for drills this year and its been very helpful but I still haven't been able to fix my backswing. I have struggled with this since I started golfing 10 years ago. Every time I take a lesson I hear slow down the backswing and don't go as long....easier said than done because I have a fast tempo. I see the clubhead all the time, drives me nuts. I take a 3/4 swing (feels like) and it's parallel. This is a very hard hing to fix for me because I try not to think too much and Bam! it's back. I swear some of my 1/2 swings go as far as a full swing. 105 SS
This was a great video. I downloaded V1 can’t wait to use it. I was looking for an app that I can draw my swing plane. I come over the top a lot now I can fix it. I video myself but I never really new what look for or fix the problem. I love your videos easy to understand. Thanks

Great video that is something I have just started to work on. I was to steep on my back swing. I started coming around my body and it has worked wonders. I was struggling to be consistent on my swing. I'm glad you made this video. I love your content. Keep it coming.
Wondering if you have or could do a video about using the least-used golf information that could alleviate some frustration by golfers or even save a couple of strokes or more - the hole handicap and slope/rating. For the harder holes, I know that I need to try for the back of the green because golfers are probably hitting it short . Thoughts?

I have left wrist guard that prevents wrist from rotating. "Popsicles sticks on top of hand " helps me tremndously
