im proud guitars are gettin technical. live the old and diggin the new. id love to catch a show here in ft.wayne indiana. and would kill for a mask. huge horror fan and mushroomhead takes u down the path of destruction and chaos. guys dont change a fuking thing. i beat the shit out of my guitar to ur music. love industrial metal. fuk u guys rule.
this song reminds me of a lot of old elements coming back to the table. More of the original sound and not just because of jmann being back although it helps. I like when bands keep their sound and work their ass off at continuing to develop it. Every other song except for "our apologies"and i mean EVERY OTHER SONG on this album EXCEPT for qwerty just fails to hit that mark. hopeing for a quick follow up album thats no bullshit and raw just like those 2 songs
*****, This is an excerpt from an interview that Skinny did talking about the EP. “It encompasses the last six records if you put them all together and all those elements are definitely found on the new album for sure,” says Skinny. “We did quite a few [songs] for this album and not all of them made it and there’s like five tunes that we’re currently working on for an EP that we’ll release later in the year and it is really, really heavy, like we were working on it and like ‘no wonder this shit didn’t get finished, it’s brutal!’”
they will be one of the best shows at mayhem this year too bad they couldnt get mainstage and we gotta sit through that crappy ass asking alexandira warped tour bs
Asking Alexandria is such generic rock trash. I can't believe they were even in the same place as Mushroom Head. I feel like that's the equivelant to spitting on every single MRH band member's face.
Did Waylon do much on this album? between this song and the previous I can hardly hear him.....or am I wrong here? I'm just more used to his singing voice I think
Something about the production just seems off on the whole album. The vocals sound small and underwhelming and the "behind" the music. I'm not sure what happened. Budget issues?
Probably just embracing their roots, mushroomhead was never really about high production music, it's always been about the energy and production of the live shows. I've always loved the feel of the recorded music, reminds me of listening to garage bands :)
***** I got the opportunity to see Mushroomhead live and hands down it was the best live show i have ever been too. Such a great live band. I really enjoy the new album even though the production differs from the past releases (probably everything from XX to BSFUC)
***** Last month, Waylon put up some pics of the shoot for it on facebook, as well as the band's fan page. They started filming it two weeks after qwerty released.
They fucking better! Jackie kicked too much ass on that song for it not to be a video. And it's the first song from that album they ever played before the album's release, when they were in Australia.
Love the qwerty flow and Jman having the spot light on his verse, but it is kind of repetitive. Comparing it to this though, not fair. This song is seriously powerful.
You can hear the energy, this song just jolts me with energy when I listen to it. It makes me feel like a teenager again. It is just amazing. One Thing I'd like to point out though, a lot of bands do their debut album in the popular music category to get known, then, once they have your attention, they usually start to play what THEY like, and if you like it to, cool, if not, cool just listen to their old stuff. People often say (Not talking about MRH in particular as I have found them to do quite the opposite) "Man this band got soft, they used to rock so hard and now they are all wimpy" You must remember, they grow up, get familys and see things differently. People mellow out and view things differently with age. It is only natural the music they find to be in their taste changes too. Just try not to be so bashful, they are playing what they like, they can't appeal to everyone, that is impossible and often brings more misery than joy.
I love Mushroomhead as they have helped me go through so much in my life and this is one of my favorite bangers by these guys as it has so much energy put into it. I salute them for all their contributions to rock music and appreciate them forever for filling with so much enthusiasm about life and this is what they deserve to immortalized for bringing amazement to this planet.
mushroom head are ruling the metal world, becoming gods.
Hello og mushroomhead fan

Well they are working on an EP with songs that are really fucking heavy that didn't make it on to "The Righteous and The Butterfly".
tommystix87 thats awesome news

*****, An EP is an album that usually only consist of no more than 3 to 9 tracks.
*****, They filmed a video for the song "Out of My Mind" and that should be out in the next few weeks. EP stands for Extended Play.

I Am So going To Get This Album. Hopefully Soon. And If Anyone Ask Why I Always Capitalize It's Just How I Learned To Write.
Cool hope you got it
Excelente disco
man i love the break down on this shit
Did Waylon do much on this album? between this song and the previous I can hardly hear him.....or am I wrong here? I'm just more used to his singing voice I think
I'm here just not much on this song.
Waylon does a lot on the new album, all three of them had basically equal parts I think.
I think Waylon was the one whispering in the song.
Waylon does the whispering but he also does growling with jman
cool song ^_^
i love it

thats the modern trend! almost every ones at it. pisses the fuck out of me!
Rahul Kapoor
Really? I've listened to a lot of new metal albums this year and not one has had the vocals shoved to the back of the mix.
UA-cam compression?
Discovered them on Octane
Good shit bröthr
👍🔥💫💥🔥🌟🌟🌟💥💥
guess who's back..... fuck yeah!!!!
Damn, this song kind of makes you want to clothesline someone.
loving the masks
which voice is jeffery
The one that sings
Aren't they making a video for this?
***** Last month, Waylon put up some pics of the shoot for it on facebook, as well as the band's fan page. They started filming it two weeks after qwerty released.
Out of my Mind.
It is already considered a single.
It's got a WW2 theme and they're dressed in official uniforms with a hot ass secretary. They should be easy to find on their page.
They fucking better! Jackie kicked too much ass on that song for it not to be a video. And it's the first song from that album they ever played before the album's release, when they were in Australia.
Where is Waylon I believe is voice is better the jmann
You all are the nerdiest people on the planet!!
I like this a lot better than qwerty
Yes qwerty sucks ass
although this one is pretty good.., it's also so unoriginal it's like any random pop song. don't know why they would put this on the CD.
Wow, you guys are tough critics. This and Qwerty are sick. Our apologies rocks too
*sigh* what else do you like, princess?

best band ive ever heard, seen them live, lost my shoe and hat
Nice track, but you should have more sustain on vocals @2:03 Cheers!
Jmann is amazing. But Jeffery's voice I wish would just go away
hes kinda what makes mushroom head mushroom head brother
I've been dying for more Mushroomhead! About fucking time!!!
I've been listening to this whole album and it's sick as fu#$...way to keep to your guns and doing it your own way
