Drug traffickers usually target individuals who are suffering from great poverty, heavy economic debt or addiction to work as smugglers. It can be quite hard to see all risks and consequences when youre feeling desperate or under extreme hardship☹☹☹
Such circumstances need to be explained to investigators as soon as possible, rather than as part of a narrative that she comes up with after having six months in custody to create. His ongoing lack of comprehension was equally annoying. I travel all the time without knowing when I'm going to return - immigration agents may not like it, but it's hardly unusual... Likewise, I would struggle to give an answer of how many times I've been to some countries. His snark when he changed his answer from "a few" to "I don't know, 3 or 4 times" was absurd - it's the same thing. And to top it off with "on my worst day I'm better than you on your best" is pathetic. If this is how aggressive he acts while on camera.....
I’d like more officers to state they made a mistake. That lady was held and her story checked out and she was let go WITH an apology. I don’t see that happening in the US.

Either smuggling is illegal or it isn’t. If you’re not going to let everyone go free on a warning, don’t discriminate.

The yams were not destroyed. When she gets home, she will peel the yams skin off and keep them in the freezer. They will hold for more than 10 years. They even helped her to cut the yams partially.

They just wanted to destroy her yams, the way they cut them up they were not cut before, and drugs could not be in them. If they wanted yams, come just where she is from and get some or ask her for one or something

"Woman Goes Into Shock"......... Shock........ The medical definition of Shock is "A brief pause in the act of dying".......... I have 27 year's experience in the medical field, and she doesn't look like she is dying.
Yes, but there is also "emotional shock". extract, Emotional shock: an acute stress reaction arising in response to a traumatic event, often erroneously used interchangeably with the term ‘shock’ in popular culture
@@phillipanderson7398 That is called "Emotional Trauma or Psychological Trauma" not SHOCK. Trust me, I have 27 years experience in the field.

That poor kid!!!! Alarm bells are ringing!!!
First one...the woman from Montego Bay... I don't feel at all sorry for smugglers, but I am curious if they are doing it of their own free will, or there is some dire circumstance, such as a debt owed or family held hostage...
The U.K.'s version of "Miranda" warns that claims of mitigating circumstances lose their credibility the longer it takes for them to be presented to investigators and prosecutors.
