Easy way to see which games where to use the vtuber is to look at the game aspect ratio.
If the game is in 4:3, the model will just fill empty space, if it is 16:9 then the modrl will just be in the way.
You can shrink 16:9 to fit
What's up with Alexis AI refusing to use Rituals when you are paired with her in every single game you can tag with her?
It's like they always have an exclusively bad AI for helping the player
Yeah she set Manju over normal summoning it to search a ritual spell so she could actually play (1:35:52), I think this might be a Chazz AI situation where she literally can't use her own cards correctly.
@@FrostHollow very likely to be the case, even though the AIs get a little better with each game, there is always those characters that cannot use their own cards properly
Old yugioh appeals to me far more than new yugioh because it feels like new yugioh has several card types that aren't useful whatsoever, and being that card type is an active detriment to the card. Normal cards are basically useless unless you need their specific monster type, attribute, level, stat, or its name, trap cards are almost completely not played because they are too slow, and the games built in cost mechanic, tributing, is pretty much unused unless the archetype you are playing benefits from it. Call me old fashioned, but I'd appreciate base game mechanics mattering.

@@kinnikubonemanHe meant that entire game mechanics/card types are entirely useless. No one nowadays uses Trap Cards, or Flip effect monsters for instance

@@soukenmarufwt5224 Traps were at least rogue relevant with a decent amount of them being competitive. Now they are all but completely irrelevant. and normal monsters and the tribute function used to matter quite a bit because it used to be that you could expect a normal monster to have higher base stats than an effect monster, which tbh I'm not sure why they stopped doing that. Even if it didn't really matter much, it would still be a bone thrown to that type. I think the core of the issue I have with modern day yugioh is that it is so wildly different from old school yugioh, that they feel like 2 different games.
@MistaOppritunity traptrix and lab have made trap cards very relevant and two of the best traps infinite impermanence and evenly match are also played a lot
Really like this series! Glad it’s back! Reshef is good! But this is fun.
I must say, I don’t like the pngtuber / takes up a lot of screen space- so like this series as it’s not on it! Thanks for the series though!

Good news, Rituals actually ARE in the extra deck, but to differentiate them from the main deck ones, they’re called fusions. Using a spell to send cards to the grave to summon a monster.

Bummer that you didn’t try to run a similar deck so you two can synergise. That was one of the best parts of the early tag partners.

Out of curiosity, I wonder if Christian would consider playing Dark Duel Stories for the GBC. It was the first Yu Gi Oh game I ever played and I'm sure it's plenty crusty, but it might make an interesting one off stream.
It had an interesting feature where you earned the top or bottom part of a card and could create cards. I specifically remember always combining the top part of a dragon or lion with the bottom part of a tank for a 4 star 2000k attack monster, which was huge given the cards available.
