TRAINERS! On long haul flights I always wear trainers because they're so comfortable. Also on the plane if my feet get cold I always have fluffy socks with me :)

I adore a packing video! This is a slightly strange tip but Muji have these nylon packing cubes that fold into tiny tiny nonexistant things that make packing that much better. I have a small one that's perfect for storing my hair tools when traveling. Enjoy LA & Safe Travels Alix!

Is it just me that thinks the travel size razor isn't actually that small? Surely just packing a couple of disposable razors wouldn't take up much space as they're thin. That case just seems a bit bulky for what it's meant to be.

A lot of people take their make up as carryon, because powders and blushes often break in transport. I never understand people don't keep their toothbrush in carryon either. It's the one thing I could not do without on a long flight. Btw, you'll need an adapter if your hair tools are not suitable for 110 volt. So, not just the right plug, but also converting the volts. It will work, but it just won't heat up properly. Will you wear the sandals on the flight, or trainers? It gets so cold on some flights, I need proper shoes and socks!
Alix, you must go to New York, it's amazing!! And they have Sephora stores on every corner! I went there last October and I thoroughly enjoyed myself, it's my favourite city after London!!

Consider putting some of the Origins mask in a little pot instead -- on your way back everything will need to be 3 ounces or less or they might make you throw it away!
