Hey I was wondering if you can do a "how to part" video? I have trouble with this and I also have trouble with how many braids(box braids) I should have evenly throughout style.
She has a parting video tutorial under the braid school Playlist on her channel.
This was extremely helpful. I prefer method 5.
This was excellent. Your idea to show 4 different techniques was ideal for me. I haven't seen a video like this before. Very well produced. Had all the content I need. Your vocal instruction was clear and well paced, you demonstrated expert technique with a tasteful manicure. As an older person I find the simplicity of #4 easier since I don't have the dexterity I use to have. I can't handle pulling the braid through the loc with a crochet needle. Someone would have to do that for me. Can you recycle hair for braiding and wrapping if you can't find your matching color in marley hair ? Thank you?
You really come through with hair school chile! You out here helping folks for free. I typically do methods 2 and 5(adding a thin piece of Marley to help it stick) but I'm still learning from you. Thanks!
Thank you for sharing!! I would love the loc’s with the soft hair!! Thank you for showing us the best ways and ideas to giving us different choices
The last one is my favorite being that I workout just about every other day and Zumba is a lot of bouncing around. Thank you for the tutorial
Thanks for the detailed explanations..... I’m going with the 5th method. Light and simple. 🥂
Me too. I never understood why someone would pay for crochet locs just to cover them up with other hair. The 5th method 8s the simplest, the best result AND probably the cheapest!
This is exactly what I needed to see. Thanks for the different methods.
Yes, Yes, Yes! Thank you for this instructional video.
I'm So glad that I found this channel!! I really appreciate this video because most people wouldn't show you how to apply faux locs for free lol Keep it up!!
You are really a good teacher. Showing everything I need to know. Thanks a lot
Thank you for the clear explanation.may God bless you
I am loving your braid school class. You making everything look so easy

I like methods 1 and 2 but methods 4 and 5 are more practical. Thanks for taking the time to share it's appreciated.
Thank you so much for sharing.....I love methods 4&5
I did method 5 and my client loved it.....no unravelling.... The locs are soooo secure.....she has had the. In for close to a month now! Thank you Vandy:)

Methods 1,2,4 & 5 are going to work for mee! Now i can truly get the hang of faux locs and do them well
Thank you you just taught me how to do all four.. I like them all you did a great job!!!🙏💙💙💙💙💙
LOVE ALL OF THEM!!😍 But 4/5 looks quickest. Whatever the stylist wants to do!❤️
I love the way you do braids & Locs hair they are absolutely beautiful
Thank you I got it now I'm gonna do the Third one..Very short and precise!

I really like the last method
What do you suggesting for people with soft hair who have a hard time keeping in styles? Also who wants it to look very full
Thank you for this video and especially happy you showed how to remove them.
Hi. Can I ask what kind of hair did you use for the last braid?
Do you have to burn and use glue? Can you tie ends with small rubber bands?
Thank you!
I love methods 4 and 5.
Hi great job just found your video. How much does it cost to have anyone of the loss done???
Is this the same way you do soft locs?
Wish you was in nyc
Thanks Sis you’re amazing
I love #5
Very easy to follow.
I love the Goddess locs❤️
method number 5 is best but i have locs and taking them out myself is hell...smh...i accidentally cut alot of my locs. i crochet the loc in and then wrapped it and it was secure but taking them out is hell for me.
I love method 1and 2
Just wat I was loooin for cuz I was bout to give up . Was having issues with the end . Idk about the glue cuz my hair is the same length I want it as my hair . But it’s ombré and I was running out of hair to wrap
Hi Vandy! Can you do a video on how to braid underhand? My hands just don’t get it, lol, I can braid overhand but it’s not uniform or neat looking.
Very clear and detailed..thank you
this is perfect! I’ve been trying to figure out how to do methods 4 & 5 for the longest! would method 5 work on short hair ?
Nice
Hopefully this will help me keep my hair done longer than a month my hair type retain better when left alone. I tried kinky twist and they were sliding within 8 days 😟
Thanks so much for this! Super duper helpful
I’d have to do method 1 my crochet game is not that good
Nice ❤
What price ranges for faux locs?
When I braid my real hair my hair strands (about 14" long) are thin so very sparse, would it be safe to double up on the base ... like two locks on one braid base? You make it look so easy!!! 4 and 5 would be my choice, flexible.
Thx! Good info..new subbie👍
Hi what chemicals do you use as far as gel or moisturizer?
I want to try 4 or 5
Thank you!!!!
Can you do how to braid to the scalp
I like #2 and #5 method easier for me to do on my hair
I ordered hair but it's for knotless braids but now I want locs after seeing this. Will straight hair not work at all?
Where you located please?
Are you in florida?
How many packs of hair do you recommend for method 5? The Amazon link is 3 packs. Do you think that’s enough?
Hello. I know It is a bit off-topic, but I have a question: seems a lot of braiders are using Shine 'N Jam, but this product isn't available in my country, what other product would you recomend instead? There is a life saving afro-shop which has quiet wide range of products by Cantu, Taliah Wajiid, Eco Styler, Jamaican Mango And Lime etc. My daughter is mixed, her hair type is 3B to 3C. Thanks for any tips.
Jam
wish I saw this before i went to the hair store
Method number 2 what hair do you use?
Good job baby
Can you do these on hair thats maybe about 5inches long?
How long can they be worn?
such a help...GOD bless:)
✍️
I have a question when I do my passion twist they come out looking like kinky and spring twist what am I doing wrong
I like no.1 technique
Can anybody explain to me the difference between goddess, butterfly, mermaid and boho locs? I'm so confused by all the terms ...newbie...obviously.
Why my twists are stiff??
Like.
You sound so much like Nicki
2,4,5
please don't burn the ends guys. It will damage some of your clothes. The hair will stick on certain fabrics. speaking from experience. :(
doing my hair like this !
