Geez... I so wish I had seen this before building my own hamster. This would have made the whole process so much easier. I googled DIY hamster build, but this video never came up. 🤔. I love the swoop in the hamster to reflect the curve of the stock. Wish I'd seen that touch before I went and made everything straight 😍
Fantabulous! 👏👏👏 The S4 Sporter is such a classic. I've always thought the ambidextrous stock would look great with an adjustable cheek riser. If you do I'll be interested to see if you cut it at the profile line or try something different. The videos are looking great👍
Hi mate, I dont like to go any thinner than about 20mm where the fixing bolt holes go through.always best to air on the thicker side to keep it strong. Most timber merchants will have smaller slabs of various hardwood. Beech is one of my favourite to work with

I've not worked out an easy option on the cheek piece mods yet mate. Not that I'd be happy with myself anyway..I'll keep thinking
