    It seems like a cool product but it's WAY too expensive! $499 for the BASIC package and $600+ for all the pieces you need is WAY too expensive for me to even consider. I think this tool, at this price, is aimed for salons. But if Dyson ever comes out of the clouds and wants to price it for the average consumer then I'd like to give it a whirl. Thanks for the info. 😊✌👍

      I can't even imagine using this at the salon.... entirely to time consuming.. I can blow dry and curl one head in 15-20 minutes. And those "curls" dont look like they'd last a full 4 hours.

    people are freaking out about the price but it's totally normal to buy a $1000 iPhone 😂🤦‍♀️
    i think it's cool, it's the first hair tool i saw that actually dried and styled the hair, unlike those hairdryer brushes that don't do anything. i would consider investing in it, i like how the waves turned out and the brush dried part looked good too. unfortunately it's not available in my country (yet?) but it looks like a tool that would last you years.

    Let's all admit it. It's too costly . You can do the same hairstyle with a curling iron or straightener which costs way less.

    • @suzanstorm2982
      @suzanstorm2982 6 років тому +2

      @@Milabuco - maybe that's the wrong term. When I say "frizzy" I'm meaning the way my hair does when it's super muggy or raining. My hair begins to poof up and stick out every whichaway. Your hair has never looked dry - this just seemed to disrupt your normally very sleek hair. Hope that makes more sense.

    This product sounds amazing. I was never taught how to curl or style my hair nicely. It was straight as long as a teen and now as a mom I just put it up. This product would literally change my approach to my hair. I get confused with a traditional curler or curling wand, but this would do the work for me. Now if only I had the money to spend on it. As a mom with one on the way, this product is too expensive. Perhaps someday it will be a bit cheaper and actually be affordable for most people.

Plus, there are several tools that are $300+ for just a hair dryer or curling rod. This product DOES IT ALL! This baby is on my dream list for sure! I dont have the Revlon but have the Dyson airwrap and you can for sure get a nice blow out using it. Just like with the curling barrels the air sucks your hair to the device so you get a better grip

  • @kar4jax432
    @kar4jax432 6 років тому +14

    I understand the draw to this and even with all the attachments they're basically saying this is everything you would ever need including the hair dryer. So if you think about it a decent hair dryer alone runs you around $75-$100, then add on the different size barrels of the wand-- most people maybe have 2 curing wands in different sizes again maybe around $30 a piece. Then it can also be used with the brush attachment to give yourself a blow out I wouldn't say MOST people own something like that--(some do) so again maybe another $50 for something similar. You're looking around $210.
    This product doesn't come with anything to flat iron your hair with and I get with the regular brush attachment you could argue someone wouldn't need a flat iron however some people use flat irons to smooth their hair out in-between washes. So again you'd still need an additional hair tool for that step. Although this product is cool it in no way it worth the $400-$600 price tag.

    • @carinacollyer
      @carinacollyer 6 років тому +1

      Kar4Jax i get where you’re going with this, but Ive got 2 Muk straighteners (different width plates) which are super expensive for a flat iron, a curler for over $100 and a hair dryer for nearly $200. Can be hard to find decent and cheap hair tools that do a good job in Aus without buying the high end brands. My hair tools are probably priced the same in total so an all in one tool would save me with tangled cords everywhere and maybe save on time (maybe!) but damn $700 AUD for this makes me want to cry hahaha.

    I’ve just bought this (it arrives tomorrow: yippee) after seeing your review (and others). I want to curl/beach wave my hair but I am utterly useless with my coordination in a mirror with standard curling implements. I’ve tried all sorts...I love my Dyson hairdryer and hope that this will help me. I have got a tyme iron, but the coordination and heat is not a good combo for my thick, but dry hair. I love the curl it gives but, coordination and wanting to protect my hair means it’s a no go. I may look like a poodle for a few days whilst I get to grips with it (but at least it won’t damage my hair too much)!

    Love at first sight! I need this on my vanity! Yes, it’s expensive, but Dyson does phenomenal products, that are worth the price- like my dyson v8 vacuum which was a game changer for me.

    As a professional i think It’s a glorified blow dry brush with extra tools, for the price of 500 just don’t think it’s worth it.

    • @sarasennott
      @sarasennott 6 років тому +4

      I think if you are a professional it probably isnt worth it, but the average person isnt good at doing round brush blowouts at home, and this can get a similar look with one tool, instead of trying to balance a blowdryer and a round brush.

    Not convinced. It's not practical at all, im sure you wouldnt have liked it if it weren't sponsored. You are usually so honest... And those are not curls, they are waves. Hard pass. Not that I would buy it for that price anyway 😂

    • @prettytoxicbliss
      @prettytoxicbliss 6 років тому +14

    • @y4miko
      @y4miko 6 років тому +2

      I think the most important point is that it doesn't damage the hair since it isn't hot so it is kind of revolutionary. wouldn't buy it either because of the price and I also think it can only do one type of curls so it is not worth it but this might be the start of a new damage less era for hair lol

      geekista well there’s a reason why she said “i wanna try and do beach waves, BEACHY WAVES”. TBH yeah it’s really pricey, but i feel like it’s worth it. I mean as hair stylist i feel like it would be really handy in a salon. It depends on the person.

    I got the Dyson and I love it! The curls lasted really well into 5days!!. I only put hairspray when I was done with my whole hair. And didn’t reapply. It was the natural hold by Kenra. My hair felt nice and fluffy. I put dry shampoo on my roots on day 4. Day 6 my hair was still voluminous but no more curls. My hair still looked like it was blow dried professionally because the ends looked flipped out? Idk how to explain. And then I washed my hair lol. The first few curls that I did, did fall out kind of quick but that’s normal for me and will happen even when I do my hair with a curling iron. I’m mexican and have A LOT of hair and it’s thick and heavy. So it makes sense to me that some strands won’t hold up as well.

    I actually hate this haha it seems way easier to miss pieces of hair and it seems way too chaotic and also it’s loud! I hate even having to listen to a hair dryer let alone thirty more minutes of a vacuum sound near your ears which is super bad for ears in the first place...I hate this so much haha

    Hi, out of all the demonstrations I’ve seen on Dyson’s innovative new Airwrap, yours is the most helpful to me as my hair is about your length. However, I am finding that the curls are not holding as much as I would like. Could you recommend a product to help the curls hold please?

    So I researched it, it has the coanda affect - fast air flow/ vortex of air all the way around the barrel, but there is still heat in the machine too right ? Just not as intense ? Cause they give you that one attachment to partially dry your hair as step one before you start to style

    I watched different videos how crazy it’s the price.. but you don’t think how much you damage your hair with other tools. And how much you spend in repair your hair? Go to salon 💇? Or tinted your hair. I hope have mine soon hehe 😉

    That is amazing. I think that if you are into hair and have the money you would buy it. It's innovative, time saving, and so much less damaging for the hair. I blow dry and style my hair with a straightener and I know it is so damaging. This is such a healthier option. Good for you, having the chance to work with Dyson is awesome. The reaction you have is authentic. Please ignore all the haters. If they could they would do the exact same thing. I can't get over how rude some people are. Anyways, good for you and your hair looks amazing.

    I think Ellenet satin hair spray is going to benefit you, RIGHT after you curl a section so the wave/curl doesn't relax so much that it falls out. The results on your hair immediately after are 😀😍Stunningly-amazing, even though they relaxed alot later on. I felt everything you were feeling and I was HAPPY with you🤗 lol
