Hie Kathy The eucharist has nothing to do with the Christian gospel, nothing to do with the Christian life, and nothing to do with the Christian church. It rejects the true, biblical nature of God, Christ, sin, salvation, atonement, and forgiveness. It robs the cross of its meaning and replaces it with superficial, man-centered idolatry. It’s a lie, a fraud, and a damning fabrication that enslaves hearts and ushers people to hell. Scripture does not waver on the finality of Christ’s sacrifice on our behalf. He came to make a one-time offering for sin, never to be repeated. By denying the singular sacrifice of Christ, Catholicism imbues its illegitimate priesthood with artificial power and authority, enslaving its followers to a repetitious system of ineffective, ungodly offerings for sin. It’s essentially paganism sprinkled with enough Christian terminology to deceive and delude souls, convincing them Christ’s death on the cross was not enough to accomplish their salvation. In effect, the mass cancels out the real meaning of the cross

I am an adult convert. I came from a church (Presbyterian-PCA, same as Scott Hahn) where I was always around people who were convinced they were saved beyond any doubt, because so much emphasis was on "knowing the right things." So they could carry on these long debates about all these topics, yet they would sin (divorce, contraception, etc.) in their daily lives, but it was all ok. Then when they find out I converted to the RCC, they are certain I'm going to hell because I'm "doing things" to work out my salvation. Everything is completely reversed. They're away from the sacraments, but convinced they are 100% correct and 100% saved, while I am 100% in the True Church, but no longer convinced I'm saved (because my life is not over, and there's still work to do). But this talk is horrifying because my husband and family haven't converted (still Protestant) and so now I have extra urgency to continue to pray and ask God to use me to bring them home to the true Catholic Church. Tough teachings.
Pray like St Monica the mother of St Augustine. It really is what we can to besides live in a way that shines His light through to them. Adults can’t be convinced, they have to arrive through their own effort. Pray true Holy Spirit softens their hearts and opens their eyes and ears to the truth. God bless your journey!
I know this is an old message I'm replying to but I'd pray the Seven Sorrows devotion for them. It's sometimes called the "Seven Sorrows Rosary," it's a great way to bring your family members to the church.
Christ was our example in completing tough tasks. You get that. He was good to His word, lived it. "What would Jesus do" is pretty darn close to "how to get to heaven". Fr. Ripperger simplifies figuring it all out. He has built on the words/understandings of the saints because he is a careful spirit driven man
Father Ripperger, my heart hurts. Before my husband and I converted to catholicism, I had my fallopian tubes removed. I felt forced to have the surgery after my 5th baby. I knew it was wrong . At the time, as a protestant, I listened to my gynecologist, mother, grandmother and my husband. Now that my husband and I are Catholic converts, I have grief over this issue. I want to conceive so bad! I desire more children. I know God can do the impossible and bless me with another baby. I regret the surgery. I still have hopes that God will give me another baby supernaturally by His grace and mercy. I watch your videos. Thank you. From a Mississippian. God Bless You .
Please pray a Divine Mercy Chaplet on each of their behalf! It's a powerful prayer invoking the unfathomable mercy of Jesus Christ. The promises attached to praying it are pretty amazing! God bless you!

I was born and raised in a strict protestant family. Yet, looking back to some of my very earliest memories, I see breadcrumbs that ultimately led me to the Catholic Church. God was merciful, and dropped those crumbs for me. God was so VERY patient with me for he know how thick I can be, so easily distracted. I am so grateful to Him. I love the Catholic Church, it's the only place I ever felt was " home" for my soul. The more I grow in the Church, the more my heart says YES, this is truth!

So incredibly happy for you! Plz pray for my grandson, 28yrs, who still has thoughts, deeds and actions you had before you returned to the Church. I love him so much and like your Mim I will never stop praying for him. But maybe you can help too! Thanks
I am a Protestant convert. Father is right about baptism. When I was baptized as a child, I had an injection of Catholic ideas when looking back. I naturally thought like a Catholic, specifically in regards to sin and the Eucharist. I had to be taught how to be a Protestant
When I was going thru classes to become Catholic, I asked God to show me without a doubt what was right & wrong. I also prayed to Our Lady that if she is really who the Church say she is, then she needed to show me. I was given a huge bucket of grace(s) in that once I became Catholic my faith was unshakable. Now, I still have to work on a lot every day, but I’m still profoundly grateful God brought me into the Church & do not take it for granted even in those dark days of the soul…
“There is no salvation outside the Catholic Church. Anyone who resist this truth perishes .” - St. Louie Marie de Montfort “There is no entering into salvation outside the Catholic Church, just as in the time of the Flood there was not salvation outside the Ark, which denotes the church.” - St. Thomas Aquinas
We Orthodox can quote your saints too; “ Whoever calls himself universal bishop, or desires this title, is, by his pride, the precursor to the Antichrist." Saint Pope Gregory I
@xpictos777 you're saying he called himself a precursor of the antichrist? Saint Pope Gregory I was famous for his views on papal supremacy. What you quoted out of context isn't about this.
The teachings of the Catholic church are truth. That is what people are searching for, that is why the Latin Masses are overflowing with young people. Once they experience it, they know it, and are drawn to it.
@@DarkAngel-cj6sx There are Missals with dual translation. If you’re Catholic then you know, or should know, what the rituals mean even if you don’t have full understanding. But, given your name, it would seem as if your question is of demonic nature to sow discord.

I wish Mother Angelica was still around to dovetail this information. She has a lovely way of communicating to people; not that I do not find this great. I took a university course in Apologetics and this is so superior to the class I attended. Thank you Father.
At one point, I listened to Mother Angelica. However, I soon realized she taught at a sixth grade comprehension level and remained there. I also sadly learned that her rabid ecumenism was heretical as was her blind exaltation of Modernist JPII. EWTN is now controlled by corrupt bishops. I gave Mother Angelica credit for resisting the extreme perversions of Modernist heretics, however, she failed to realize the roots of Modernism could be traced to Vatican II and her beloved pope, JPII, was one of its architects.
@@margaretboyle8719 With all the confusion going on now in the church, as it has as well historically, I hope that we all maintain focus on our personal redemption through Jesus. Messengers sometimes make mistakes.
I grew up in a country where catholicism is so foreign and currently find myself in a place where there is almost zero catholic presence, finding a thriving protestant church is even a mission. However, during Covid I had a bit of a damascus moment, I consumed loads catholic literature and my inner christian compass is has swung so far away from my protestant upbringing and theology, my eyes have been opened to church history. One could say my christian stars have aligned, and I feel a deeper connection to the apostles and the early church. Its actually become a bit of a healthy obsession, I feel like a dry sponge to water, trying to absorb as much catholic thought as possible. I'm craving the sacraments, praying the rosary (with convictions, was sketchy at first) and dreaming about receiving the eucharist. So now I've become a closet catholic, who attends attends a protestant church. Need to figure this thing out, not easy.
Attend Catholic mass. Dont receive communion and dont listen to to rad trads that insist that to "must" attend latin mass but try to involve yourself in what's going on..

Debate Jay Dyer... Orthodox call themselves Catholic too. Considering the Pope has a literal snake head shaped worship hall... Did the bible say "call no man father"? Or did it say "call this one special guy father, kiss his ring, and basically treat him like a God"? Does the Vatican have a telescope named LUCIFER? Is this all a joke to you guys? Serious questions... Time to get real, in my opinion. And yes, I'm sure a bunch of self righteous christians will reply as God and tell me what will happen to my soul after death.
I was received into the Church seven years ago this month. Have I ever thought of leaving because of the Brokeback Martins, Uncle Teds, German Schismatics etc? Never. Have I wished that THEY would leave? All the time.
We should never leave the Church because of those who are in the church and discredit it. They are the traitors and ennemies who existed even when Our Lord was walking this earth. Leaving the Church is leaving the Mystical Body of Christ and being the same as Judas.
Good question about the Orthodox in this talk. I have dedicated the prayers of my hermitage to the reunion of the Orthodox and Catholic churches. Fr. Ripperger gave a FASCINATING answer I have never heard before, and it blew me away. Amazing. It gave me something to think about, that's for sure.
To Whom else shall we go? Despite Her many serious problems, only the Catholic Church has “the real thing,” the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity, the Real Presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ, without Whom no one can be saved.
Because it is the Church of God. No other is attacked more than the Catholic Church. May God be with us and help us overcome tribulations and that we come out stronger and with a bigger faith.🙏
Thank you Father, such a truthful talk. So many Catholics today are drawn into the pluralistic mess of modernism believing that all Faith's are essentially OK. That there is no such thing as heresy or error, and that we're all going to get into heaven so worry too much and why bother with confession etc. It's as if we've lost our sense of our own sinfulness. There's no humility or great reference for the Church and her sacraments.
The Antichrist whose coming springs from the power of Satan in every mighty deed and in signs and wonders that lie, and in every wicked deceit for those who are perishing because they have not accepted the love of Truth so that they may be saved. Therefore God is sending them a deceiving power so that they may believe the lie, that all who have not believed the Truth but have approved wrongdoing may be condemned (2 Thes 2:9-12).
So many leave because they prefer the ‘easy’ wrong. Such as - married in the church, divorced and remarried civilly ... rather than get annulment to have a valid re-marriage.. leaving the Catholic Church and making excuses for protestant churches being filled with the Holy Spirit and how it ‘feels’... I admit there are many spiritless feeling catholic church’s full of people just going through the motions, that are sadly empty ‘feeling’.

I enjoy this kind of scholarly lectures by Fr. Ripperger. I try to read as often as possible the Summa. By grace of God, we have AQUINAS 101 from Thomistic Institute (Dominican Friars from DC) who make Saint Thomas more accessible to us Theology/Philosophy enthusiasts. I teach Physics and to try to quote here and there thomistic thought applied to empiric sciences and stir a little bit the search for truth in light of the Gospel. Imagine how great would be to bring to the Faith and Christ's Church some misguided college students! God bless you. Pray a decade for Fr. Ripperger.
You are an amazing priest. Our church in Maine is one of five that is served by only two priests. So very nice but sometimes look very tired with so much responsibility. Pray for our community. It’s Gods country up here.
Bergoglio on Suicide “There was a time when they did not perform funerals for those that committed suicide because they had not continued on towards the goal; they ended the path when they wanted to. But I still respect the one who commits suicide; he is a person who could not overcome the contradictions in his life. I do not reject him.”
When you take these two verse it shows that the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve that are not chosen to be alive for the 1,000 years will become alive 1,000 years later. That is how God determines who will live in New Jerusalem during the new earth era and who will make their homes outside of the city as stated in Isaiah:65. Re:20:4-5: And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. To be killed by Jesus means a person is sent into 'great tribulation', the verses below show that people sent there are not sent to the fiery lake like unskilled teachers promote. Re:19:21: And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. Re:7:9-17: After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. Re:21:1-8: And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Apostolic succession - the Catholic Church (including orthodox) can trace their roots back to the apostles who were commissioned by Christ to bring His mercy to the world.
The strength of Catholicism is in the coherence of the teachings, the Resurrection of Jesus, and the Resurrection of all men and woman of faith in the day of Judgment. Have Faith always...
Two questions come to mind; Why remain a Catholic and why others oppose Catholicism. The second question touches on theology but not the history the Church. The basic opposition against the Trinity, Christ being the Son of God, the Apostles Creed, Confessional and the Holy Communion are easy to defend and easy to attack. The overwhelming opposition is against the Roman hierarchy, laws, Latin, and structure that Christianity and the Roman Empire adopted from each other. That aspect is constantly attacked and defended. Unless I am clear to my "Roman" Catholic history I cannot defend it. As for covid Mass has never been cancelled in the 2000 years of Catholic history, regardless of wars, famine, natural disaster or plagues. There are thousand of nuns and priests who work among the infectiously sick and poor where the Holy Sacrament of Communion is performed, yet for this rather benign virus Christmas Mass was cancelled, and in many nations Easter Mass was also cancelled. That should never have happened.
53:52 I'm a 40 year old Maronite Catholic and that is the first time I have heard a proper explanation of the meaning of the 100 days, 200 days etc ... partial indulgences in the older prayer books. Why were we shortchanged after V2? It seems the bishops made it more difficult to access the spiritual treasury of the Church to assist me to satisfy my temporal debts due to my sins, not easier. Not very fatherly of them 😡
My thoughts on indulgences is... I am wondering where did they get these ideas that God will honor them? So I am not so worried about them taking them away. But since a lot of v2 looks wrong to me. And I was born in the early 60s. Am I wrong, who knows. I guess we will all find out in the end.
To further clarify Salvation of non-Catholics: If they are indeed saved, then they would have to be joined to the Catholic Church somehow before death. Hence, they would cease to be outside the Church and be inside the Church (they would also cease to be non-Catholic). Even though their membership would not be perceptible, they would still be united to the visible Church as everyone who is in the Catholic Church is united to each other and not separated into different entities or camps.
Thing is, no one needs to tell me to remain Catholic. St John, Chapter16 comes to mind. “[67] After this many of his disciples went back; and walked no more with him. [68] Then Jesus said to the twelve: Will you also go away? [69] And Simon Peter answered him: Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.”

Ripperger simplifies figuring it all out. He has built on the words/understandings of the saints because he is a careful spirit driven man
Fr. Ripperger you changed my life, God bless you.
Mine also
Same. His video on spiritual warfare was part of the reason I made the full push to conversion.

Same here.
So did mine! May God guide him to holiness for all the souls he's saving.
May God be with you and give you the blessings you seek

I was born and raised in a strict protestant family. Yet, looking back to some of my very earliest memories, I see breadcrumbs that ultimately led me to the Catholic Church. God was merciful, and dropped those crumbs for me. God was so VERY patient with me for he know how thick I can be, so easily distracted. I am so grateful to Him. I love the Catholic Church, it's the only place I ever felt was " home" for my soul. The more I grow in the Church, the more my heart says YES, this is truth!

You remain for the Sacraments and the Deposit of Faith because they are Truth. I didn’t convert in 1994 to abandon the Ark of Salvation.
“There is no salvation outside the Catholic Church. Anyone who resist this truth perishes .” - St. Louie Marie de Montfort
“There is no entering into salvation outside the Catholic Church, just as in the time of the Flood there was not salvation outside the Ark, which denotes the church.” - St.
@Sarah Hodgins what doctrines have been changed and who told you this?
It is for those that are proud and have hidden sin. Those who reject truth.
Mass in Latin without understanding what is being said?
@@DarkAngel-cj6sx There are Missals with dual translation. If you’re Catholic then you know, or should know, what the rituals mean even if you don’t have full understanding.

I wish Mother Angelica was still around to dovetail this information. She has a lovely way of communicating to people; not that I do not find this great. I took a university course in Apologetics and this is so superior to the class I attended. Thank you Father.

Yes Mother A.and F.Sheen🙏🏻
He’s such an awesome teacher. I love that about him.
Praying for you, and ALL of us on earth.

Always pray for the conversion of sinners. The faithful cannot accept the false teachings. Stand up for the TRUTH.

If your ship has sunk, you jump into the boat that's sinking! Love this quote because we know Jesus is in the back of our ship and it'll never sink.
To Whom else shall we go? Despite Her many serious problems, only the Catholic Church has “the real thing,” the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity, the Real Presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ, without Whom no one can be saved.
There's so much to be learned here. I come back to this video every once in a while.
Because it is the Church of God. No other is attacked more than the Catholic Church. May God be with us and help us overcome tribulations and that we come out stronger and with a bigger faith.🙏
Soo much to learn.. Thank God for Fr. Ripperger
Thank you, very clarifying. I can think of one particular Catholic who would officially benefit from listening to you Fr. 🙏
I will remain catholic because it is the only real one. The question is "why leave?"
The burden of heretics, gets heavy
Who leaves? The ignorant and the weak. Hence, the previous reply to you. 🙄
@asteinmann God bless you too. I will always be Catholic. But it’s time for a long sabbatical, I’m only 65. ☀️💛

Bergoglio on Suicide
“There was a time when they did not perform funerals for those that committed suicide because they had not continued on towards the goal; they ended the path when they wanted to.
Re:20:4-5:
And I saw thrones,
and they sat upon them,
and judgment was given unto them:
and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus,
and for the word of God,
and which had not worshipped the beast,
neither his image,
neither had received his mark upon their foreheads,
or in their hands;
and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Re:7:9-17:
After this I beheld,
and,
lo,
a great multitude,
which no man could number,
of all nations,
and kindreds,
and people,
and tongues,
stood before the throne,
and before the Lamb,
clothed with white robes,
and palms in their hands;
And cried with a loud voice,
saying,
Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne,
and unto the Lamb.
And all the angels stood round about the throne,
and about the elders and the four beasts,
and fell before the throne on their faces,
and worshipped God,
Saying,
Amen:
Blessing,
and glory,
and wisdom,
and thanksgiving,
and honour,
and power,
and might,
be unto our God for ever and ever.
Amen.
And one of the elders answered,
saying unto me,
What are these which are arrayed in white robes?
and whence came they?
And I said unto him,
Sir,
thou knowest.
And he said to me,
These are they which came out of great tribulation,
and have washed their robes,
and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Therefore are they before the throne of God,
and serve him day and night in his temple:
and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
They shall hunger no more,
neither thirst any more;
neither shall the sun light on them,
nor any heat.
For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them,
and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters:
and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
Re:21:1-8:
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:
for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away;
and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city,
new Jerusalem,
coming down from God out of heaven,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying,
Behold,
the tabernacle of God is with men,
and he will dwell with them,
and they shall be his people,
and God himself shall be with them,
and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death,
neither sorrow,
nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away.
And he that sat upon the throne said,
Behold,
I make all things new.
And he said unto me,
Write:
for these words are true and faithful.
And he said unto me,
It is done.
I am Alpha and Omega,
the beginning and the end.
I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
He that overcometh shall inherit all things;
and I will be his God,
and he shall be my son.
But the fearful,
and unbelieving,
and the abominable,
and murderers,
and whoremongers,
and sorcerers,
and idolaters,
and all liars,
shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:
which is the second death.
This gets really good and to the point around minute 24.
When St. Thomas says "motion," he means change, and going from one place to another is only one of many kinds of change.

Thank you Fr Ripperger!!!
@@deebee533Our Lord Jesus Christ gave the ability to bind and loose to the apostles and their successors.
