      It literally happened to my best friend. I got the message from his wife one Sunday morning completely out of the blue that he had passed away that morning. He was 30, in decent health, and I had been having a completely normal conversation with him less than 2 days earlier. She found him unconscious in bed late the night before and they were not able to revive him. I don't know if he had any time or presence of mind to prepare before.

      I heard that many people are coming to God because of this virus.
      The virus is actually not that bad for most people. My extended family (all siblings) got it and they all got well. The younger ones got over it in a couple of days. Some had no symptoms at all. The worse was a 67 year old with asthma. She had trouble breathing. She drank tonic water and drank alcohol (she smelled it so as to get some into the lungs) and that helped her get over it.

    • @seriouscat2231
      @seriouscat2231 3 роки тому +1

      Everybody should research how the presence or absence of the supposed virus is determined. If you research how the test is done, it's possible to see that you can "tune" the test to give any proportion of positives or negatives but you can't guarantee that it will indicate anything. Then you can take any combination of pre-existing conditions and other diseases and claim that hey, that's the virus, now you see it's real.

    I saw a story recently about a woman who used to be a nurse. One particular man, as he lay dying, was offered the opportunity to have people pray for him in the name of Jesus. He then blasphemed the name of the Lord to tell them not to. The next minute he got wide eyes and started screaming "Oh God, oh no, on no, oh no..." and then he died.
    Imagine the horrors he must have seen...

    We pray for this at every Eastern Catholics (and Orthodox) every Divine Liturgy/Mass ☦️ Very spiritually sobering prayers:
    Priest: That the whole day may be perfect, holy, peaceful, and sinless, let us ask of the Lord.
    People: Grant this, O Lord.
    Priest: For an angel of peace, a faithful guide, a guardian of our souls and bodies, let us ask of the Lord.
    People: Grant this, O Lord.
    Priest: For pardon and remission of our sins and transgressions, let us ask of the Lord.
    People: Grant this, O Lord.
    Priest: For all things that are good and profitable for our souls, and peace for the world, let us ask of the Lord.
    People: Grant this, O Lord.
    Priest: That we may complete the remaining time of our life in peace and repentance, let us ask of the Lord.
    People: Grant this, O Lord.
    Priest: For a Christian ending to our life: painless, blameless and peaceful, and a good defense before the dread judgment seat of Christ, let us ask of the Lord.
    People: Grant this, O Lord.
    Priest: Having asked for the unity of the Faith, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, let us commend ourselves and each other, and all our life unto Christ our God.
    People: To You, O Lord.

Also go to confession and make a good confession. Go to Mass, pray the Rosary daily, and pray daily the prayers of Faith, Hope, and Charity to strengthen these 3 Theology virtues in your soul. We are in the biggest Spiritual battle of man's lifetime! Believe me, you're not the only one the devil is trapping into giving in to despair- a mortal sin against The Holy Ghost. Hi Lucia, go to the site in the description for a thorough understanding of it as well as finding other great resources. Essentially, it's a play on terms like shareware. It is usually praying for the priest or lecturer in the particular video you are watching, and/or making a donation to their organisation.

      Sin is when you offend God-However you must have full knowledge to make it mortal sin- morals are written in our hearts though( why majority would agree to not kill for instance) but remember this--> Matthew 7 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ So just be glad you know God and have time to repent & do penance. get to confession so Satan can no longer hood that sin against you on judgement day☝️ God is just-but most of us will end up in purgatory unfortunately. One last thing to mention is God takes EVERYTHING into account -our society has been brain-washed so a merciful God will take that into consideration❤️‍🔥✝️❤️‍🔥God Bless!

    Can a priest living in constant mortal sin and not in a state of grace consecrate the host?. You mentioned that if you are not in a state of grace your work has no merit. Can anyone explain?

    • @Grapalicious
      @Grapalicious 3 роки тому +6

      Yes, a priest can consecrate a host even if he is in a state of mortal sin. This is because through the sacrament of holy orders, the priest acts in Persona Christi, Christ is actually consecrating the host

    Can anyone tell me what exactly is a state of Grace 🤔
    Please I am not very intelligent I am not stupid.
    Just don’t understand what exactly it is

    • @auraxfire
      @auraxfire 4 роки тому +10

      I think you are just as intelligent as anyone else. The state of grace is basically the amount of the life of Christ in you. If you make a good confession, you are in the state of grace (i.e. Christ dwells in you). When you commit a mortal sin, you lose the state of grace entirely, as Christ cannot dwell in a place in such a state of sin. When you commit a venial sin, depending on the sin, your state of grace becomes weaker, but Christ still dwells in you. Ultimately, if you commit enough venial sins, you can lose the state of grace. Think of it like this, if it helps - when you make a good confession, your soul is pure white. If you commit a mortal sin, it becomes pure black. If you commit a venial sin, some dirt is thrown on your soul, but it doesn't become black unless a certain amount of dirt is thrown on it. When you die, if your soul is pure black, hell is the reward, because Christ is not in there. If it is not pure black, then the reward will be heaven or purgatory, because Christ is in there. This is a simplistic analogy, so please read more about it from actual holy people - e.g. Thomas Aquinas. Also pray for me, because if there were a colour blacker than pure black, that's where my soul is right now.

      Can you not goto Confessions I used to go every week.
      I can’t now because of this virus.
      I think I have lots of Gods Grace now.
      I try to stay blameless as possible.
      I actually hear Angels am serious especially round the Eucharist at Holy Communion time and during Adoration.
      I don’t understand it I know it’s a grace but I still don’t fully understand it, I also sometimes smell roses when I pray the Rosary 📿 with the old ladies in Church and also get the smell of wine before I leave my seat to go up for Holy Communion.
      Another thing happens to me in my Whole Body vibrates when I pray like a mobile phone on silent only it’s a strange feeling.
      I swear to you that this is the truth and I absolutely know God is real.
      I also don’t believe in coincidence I think I was suppose to chat to you on here.
      I have come from a very Dark place matter fact I was rescued one night from Demons which I have actually see.
      There is no soul that can not be made white as snow.
      You should make a good act of contrition and promise God you will go to confession when ever you can.
      I for my part am lighting a candle 🕯 for you and will pray later for you.
      I have never been refused anything I have ever ask of God I will pray that God reveal himself more to you and that you will feel his beautiful presence of his Son Jesus who is my first Love and I am absolutely in love with.
      Big Hug from Northern Ireland from me to you.

    If you are feeling suicidal and long for death is that wrong? Also, how does mortification help if you are depressed because you feel as if you keep trying to strive for perfection but keep failing. Also, if you are depressed because you are already in pain so you cause more pain to yourself by mortification. I am not sure I understand.

    • @poetmaggie1
      @poetmaggie1 4 роки тому +8

      Feeling suicidal is a red flag go see the priest, if you need counseling find a practicing Catholic counselor and/or Join emotions anonymous. Suicide is a mortal sin meaning Hell, but the worse thing is the misery left behind, all kinds of family, friends and even aquanauts blaming themselves because they didn't see your pain. I have been depressed, as a kid I wished I could die but I did have enough sense to realize that I didn't like pain and I would need to inflict some if I tried to kill myself. I had a disfunctal childhood, alcohol abuse, and my marriage wasn't all that functual either. I missed tons of opportunity to offer my misery for the souls in purgatory and the sin of the world because in the end miserable or not I there are things that give comfort if I am willing to accept them. God Love and Guide you to what you need. Hugs as well.

      Consider it like running a marathon. You could fall many times and want to abandon the race. Thinking this way is not necessarily wrong (although it is advisable to seek help), but it is wrong if you do quit the race. Understand that we are too weak to run the race on our own. Ask Christ to help you to run. It isn't about whether or not you fall, it's about what you do when that happens. If you fall, don't despair, ask Him to forgive you and help you to keep running. He knows we are too weak to do it alone, and He wants us to rely on His help and trust in Him. If you are already in pain, there is no need to mortify yourself. Offer up your current pain to Christ and ask Him to unify your sufferings with His on the cross in atonement for your sins and for those of the world. Being holy is usually in the little things that we do, not the big ones.

    HOW CAN A PERSON BE PERFECT ?? IN THE BIBLE .. JESUS ADMONISHED HIS DISCIPLES FROM CALLING HIM " GOOD " ... AS HE SAID THE ONLY ONE WHO IS GOOD IS THE FATHER GOD HIMSELF !!??

      The Bible does say that if we say we have no sin we are liars. The saints were perfected with grace as they grew spiritually in time, but they still fall into imperfections that are not deliberate. If you want to learn about the spiritual life (journey) read the Interior Castle by St Teresa of Avila. She explains the 7 stages of the spiritual journey starting from beginners to those who achieved Transforming Union with God (what saints reach).
