It literally happened to my best friend. I got the message from his wife one Sunday morning completely out of the blue that he had passed away that morning. He was 30, in decent health, and I had been having a completely normal conversation with him less than 2 days earlier. She found him unconscious in bed late the night before and they were not able to revive him. I don't know if he had any time or presence of mind to prepare before.

I also work in customer service so I know what you’re talking about. Can’t let them get you too worked up. But you also can’t be too easy bcs they’ll bite your head off. What I do is put up a tough shield yet I keep my voice easy and remain calm while putting them in their place. If they get too nasty I cancel their transaction and tell them to go elsewhere or I ask the manager to handle it bcs I’m about to break.

I was in a bad place spiritually doesn’t matter about why. I was crushed on my knees crying broken. I couldn’t pray. I blurted our father ripperger ! With my rosary in my hand. I felt instant invisible forces energy whatever you call it move far away from me. I began the whole rosary with confidence and calmness in the same tone that he does his prayers. Father I cannot thank you enough for the work you are doing. My priest has chosen to abandon his flock since the virus was made public. No one has heard from him. he has not contacted anyone nor has he been to his church. I tried to contact him. The church admin told me that he is not taking or returning any calls. It always amazes me how a priest can be a man of God and behave the way some of them do. If a priest cannot do his duty or chooses to live in mortal sin why don-t they quit?

I thanks Father Ripperger for clarity on sin and judgement and many other points. I love the catholic faith in it clarity of what is sinful and not and goals to be a Saint in life to be with are heavily Father and his Son Christ. I see Fr. Ripperger views and it harshness and finalist ends in the affects of sin in life. YET I see other factors that bring judgement to all of us given we are all sinful because of fallen nature challenges in life and situations that drive us mad. Myself I did acts I though where fine given the social order and others who I knew where smarter then ME that over came feelings something was not right base on my limited views of Devine reality and justice and character of sin Here is little different point of view NOT to contradict Fr, Ripperger to expand the field of vision given limitation of language to understand Devine reality and are self in reality both here on earth and in Heaven. Understand the nature and characteristic of the word GOD and what it encompasses in its limitation of the word God we can understand generally and apply it to see sin and it affect on are spirit, heart and soul. To my understanding in the Catechism the word God in its totality of understanding has to been see through the lens of the trinity which is Father, Son and Holy Spirit and each has it own nature, characteristic forming the whole understiand within the word God yet each is separate in it function, influence and judgement to the whole in the word God. The Devil was so mad at her about that request to God for ALL soul ended up; in heaven on this one day. The other influences on ones heart and souls in Mother of Christ Marry Devine influence on the departed souls. There is many influence for God within the understanding of the Trinity and Marry for they are ALL ONE to grasp for are poor brains given limitation of language form thought is hard to realize the Whole or the Gestalt of Devine reality in relationship to earthly references. There is such complexities to God judgements and the soul of each person for God is Absolute LOVE for US too be with him is so great only the imagination can even come close to reality to God graces in love for US to be with him. You sound like you're in a state of despair. Beware, beware. Talk to a good priest like Fr. Ripperger. A traditional priest is a good one to go to for help. Also go to confession and make a good confession. Go to Mass, pray the Rosary daily, and pray daily the prayers of Faith, Hope, and Charity to strengthen these 3 Theology virtues in your soul. We are in the biggest Spiritual battle of man's lifetime! Believe me, you're not the only one the devil is trapping into giving in to despair- a mortal sin against The Holy Ghost. Yes, a priest can consecrate a host even if he is in a state of mortal sin. This is because through the sacrament of holy orders, the priest acts in Persona Christi, Christ is actually consecrating the host
I think you are just as intelligent as anyone else. The state of grace is basically the amount of the life of Christ in you. If you make a good confession, you are in the state of grace (i.e. Christ dwells in you). When you commit a mortal sin, you lose the state of grace entirely, as Christ cannot dwell in a place in such a state of sin. When you commit a venial sin, depending on the sin, your state of grace becomes weaker, but Christ still dwells in you. Ultimately, if you commit enough venial sins, you can lose the state of grace. Think of it like this, if it helps - when you make a good confession, your soul is pure white. If you commit a mortal sin, it becomes pure black. If you commit a venial sin, some dirt is thrown on your soul, but it doesn't become black unless a certain amount of dirt is thrown on it. When you die, if your soul is pure black, hell is the reward, because Christ is not in there. If it is not pure black, then the reward will be heaven or purgatory, because Christ is in there. This is a simplistic analogy, so please read more about it from actual holy people - e.g. Thomas Aquinas. Also pray for me, because if there were a colour blacker than pure black, that's where my soul is right now.
auraxfire Can you not goto Confessions I used to go every week. I can’t now because of this virus. I think I have lots of Gods Grace now. I try to stay blameless as possible. I actually hear Angels am serious especially round the Eucharist at Holy Communion time and during Adoration. I don’t understand it I know it’s a grace but I still don’t fully understand it, I also sometimes smell roses when I pray the Rosary 📿 with the old ladies in Church and also get the smell of wine before I leave my seat to go up for Holy Communion. If you are feeling suicidal and long for death is that wrong? Also, how does mortification help if you are depressed because you feel as if you keep trying to strive for perfection but keep failing. Also, if you are depressed because you are already in pain so you cause more pain to yourself by mortification. I am not sure I understand.
Feeling suicidal is a red flag go see the priest, if you need counseling find a practicing Catholic counselor and/or Join emotions anonymous. Suicide is a mortal sin meaning Hell, but the worse thing is the misery left behind, all kinds of family, friends and even aquanauts blaming themselves because they didn't see your pain. I have been depressed, as a kid I wished I could die but I did have enough sense to realize that I didn't like pain and I would need to inflict some if I tried to kill myself. I had a disfunctal childhood, alcohol abuse, and my marriage wasn't all that functual either. I missed tons of opportunity to offer my misery for the souls in purgatory and the sin of the world because in the end miserable or not I there are things that give comfort if I am willing to accept them. God Love and Guide you to what you need. Hugs as well.
Need to go to confession and talk to a priest ,something is not right ,the devil is tempting you into believing it's a way out ,he will be waiting for you and then it's to late .
Consider it like running a marathon. You could fall many times and want to abandon the race. Thinking this way is not necessarily wrong (although it is advisable to seek help), but it is wrong if you do quit the race. Understand that we are too weak to run the race on our own. Ask Christ to help you to run. It isn't about whether or not you fall, it's about what you do when that happens. If you fall, don't despair, ask Him to forgive you and help you to keep running. He knows we are too weak to do it alone, and He wants us to rely on His help and trust in Him. If you are already in pain, there is no need to mortify yourself. Offer up your current pain to Christ and ask Him to unify your sufferings with His on the cross in atonement for your sins and for those of the world. Being holy is usually in the little things that we do, not the big ones.

I believe that what he means is that once the saint is a saint, they are perfect having achieved the beatific vision not that they were perfect in their lives first...
The Bible does say that if we say we have no sin we are liars. The saints were perfected with grace as they grew spiritually in time, but they still fall into imperfections that are not deliberate. If you want to learn about the spiritual life (journey) read the Interior Castle by St Teresa of Avila. She explains the 7 stages of the spiritual journey starting from beginners to those who achieved Transforming Union with God (what saints reach).

Father I cannot thank you enough for the work you are doing. My priest has chosen to abandon his flock since the virus was made public. No one has heard from him. he has not contacted anyone nor has he been to his church. I tried to contact him. The church admin told me that he is not taking or returning any calls. It always amazes me how a priest can be a man of God and behave the way some of them do. If a priest cannot do his duty or chooses to live in mortal sin why don-t they quit?

I thanks Father Ripperger for clarity on sin and judgement and many other points. I love the catholic faith in it clarity of what is sinful and not and goals to be a Saint in life to be with are heavily Father and his Son Christ. I see Fr. Ripperger views and it harshness and finalist ends in the affects of sin in life. YET I see other factors that bring judgement to all of us given we are all sinful because of fallen nature challenges in life and situations that drive us mad. Myself I did acts I though where fine given the social order and others who I knew where smarter then ME that over came feelings something was not right base on my limited views of Devine reality and justice and character of sin
Here is little different point of view NOT to contradict Fr, Ripperger to expand the field of vision given limitation of language to understand Devine reality and are self in reality both here on earth and in Heaven. Understand the nature and characteristic of the word GOD and what it encompasses in its limitation of the word God we can understand generally and apply it to see sin and it affect on are spirit, heart and soul. To my understanding in the Catechism the word God in its totality of understanding has to been see through the lens of the trinity which is Father, Son and Holy Spirit and each has it own nature, characteristic forming the whole understiand within the word God yet each is separate in it function, influence and judgement to the whole in the word God.
There is so many sins I have done I did not know until studying the Catholic faith. Because once it has come clear and damage it has done that separates ME from God love and that effect distances me from God absolute LOVE which is Devine in itself and Christ suffering for are sins that humble me in face of the Church Magisterium forms by the Disciples and all others who suffered to form truth with teaching of Priests through history of the church.
I like to point out some comments I taken to heart about my Sins in life that did not know about and ones I did know. On the cross one of the criminals ask Christ forgiveness and would he remember him in Heaven. He said his father has many rooms and he would be with him in Heave this day. If I am in error in thees words Christ used to explain Heaven for sinners and forgiveness in graces by believing Christ is the son of God and savior. Christ said NO man can go before Father except through Him. If think in context of the Trinity forms the characteristic of God for it the Three parts that are all equal yet separate forming judgement.
A Saint ask God on this one day before her death that NO souls will end up in Hell and God said YES. The Devil was so mad at her about that request to God for ALL soul ended up; in heaven on this one day. The other influences on ones heart and souls in Mother of Christ Marry Devine influence on the departed souls. There is many influence for God within the understanding of the Trinity and Marry for they are ALL ONE to grasp for are poor brains given limitation of language form thought is hard to realize the Whole or the Gestalt of Devine reality in relationship to earthly references. There is such complexities to God judgements and the soul of each person for God is Absolute LOVE for US too be with him is so great only the imagination can even come close to reality to God graces in love for US to be with him.
Father is right we cannot go before GOD with sin on are soul that is a fact and then there is the ideas there are many rooms in Heaven Christ has created for US if we believe in him honesty and his will and are will flow together.

I think you are just as intelligent as anyone else. The state of grace is basically the amount of the life of Christ in you. If you make a good confession, you are in the state of grace (i.e. Christ dwells in you). When you commit a mortal sin, you lose the state of grace entirely, as Christ cannot dwell in a place in such a state of sin. When you commit a venial sin, depending on the sin, your state of grace becomes weaker, but Christ still dwells in you. Ultimately, if you commit enough venial sins, you can lose the state of grace. Think of it like this, if it helps - when you make a good confession, your soul is pure white. If you commit a mortal sin, it becomes pure black. If you commit a venial sin, some dirt is thrown on your soul, but it doesn't become black unless a certain amount of dirt is thrown on it. When you die, if your soul is pure black, hell is the reward, because Christ is not in there. If it is not pure black, then the reward will be heaven or purgatory, because Christ is in there. This is a simplistic analogy, so please read more about it from actual holy people - e.g. Thomas Aquinas. Also pray for me, because if there were a colour blacker than pure black, that's where my soul is right now.

If you are feeling suicidal and long for death is that wrong? Also, how does mortification help if you are depressed because you feel as if you keep trying to strive for perfection but keep failing. Also, if you are depressed because you are already in pain so you cause more pain to yourself by mortification. I am not sure I understand.
Feeling suicidal is a red flag go see the priest, if you need counseling find a practicing Catholic counselor and/or Join emotions anonymous. Suicide is a mortal sin meaning Hell, but the worse thing is the misery left behind, all kinds of family, friends and even aquanauts blaming themselves because they didn't see your pain. I have been depressed, as a kid I wished I could die but I did have enough sense to realize that I didn't like pain and I would need to inflict some if I tried to kill myself. I had a disfunctal childhood, alcohol abuse, and my marriage wasn't all that functual either. I missed tons of opportunity to offer my misery for the souls in purgatory and the sin of the world because in the end miserable or not I there are things that give comfort if I am willing to accept them. God Love and Guide you to what you need. Hugs as well.
Need to go to confession and talk to a priest ,something is not right ,the devil is tempting you into believing it's a way out ,he will be waiting for you and then it's to late .
Consider it like running a marathon. You could fall many times and want to abandon the race. Thinking this way is not necessarily wrong (although it is advisable to seek help), but it is wrong if you do quit the race. Understand that we are too weak to run the race on our own. Ask Christ to help you to run. It isn't about whether or not you fall, it's about what you do when that happens. If you fall, don't despair, ask Him to forgive you and help you to keep running. He knows we are too weak to do it alone, and He wants us to rely on His help and trust in Him. If you are already in pain, there is no need to mortify yourself. Offer up your current pain to Christ and ask Him to unify your sufferings with His on the cross in atonement for your sins and for those of the world. Being holy is usually in the little things that we do, not the big ones.

I believe that what he means is that once the saint is a saint, they are perfect having achieved the beatific vision not that they were perfect in their lives first...
The Bible does say that if we say we have no sin we are liars. The saints were perfected with grace as they grew spiritually in time, but they still fall into imperfections that are not deliberate. If you want to learn about the spiritual life (journey) read the Interior Castle by St Teresa of Avila. She explains the 7 stages of the spiritual journey starting from beginners to those who achieved Transforming Union with God (what saints reach).
