I agree, and if I heard Fr R correctly, about 40% of the population is suffering from diabolic obsession (25%), oppression (10-15%) or possessed (1in 200 or .05%). Did I hear that right??? No wonder he's going mainstream. So happy to see him at this cathedral.

Exactly! If you hear a priest say or making up his own Ideas about a gospel reading, you have to call him out. Right there on the spot dont wait. I have been doing that. It is amazing how much liberty priests are taking with the readings. I called a priest out who was claiming the demon in the gospel of mark was actually a mental condition the daughter of the Syrophenician woman had. I stood up and corrected him in front of the whole church. Not a peep of a rebuttal. He knew he was wrong. It is a small thing but it is important.
Don't you just feel that the Catholic Church is making a strong comeback....some great advocates coming forward to preach the Gospel and tell it like it is. Evil is permeating our society and we have to fight back with everything that we have.....Fr. Ripperger is the man! The army is growing...🙏🙏

The Feast of the Holy Face always the Tuesday before, Ash Wednesday, known as Shrove Tuesday
Proceeded by a novena of reparation, for the offenses, against the Holy Face of Jesus , which includes Blasphemy against His Name and profanation of Sunday and holy days
Revealed was a scapular to be worn, which became a medal of the Holy Face
At the time, using the image of the shroud of Turin face of Jesus which is still used today
On one side of the medal is the Holy Face “May oh Lord , the Light of Your countenance Shine upon us”
On the opposite side is the Host
“ stay with us, oh, Lord”
The medal and feast day was approved by Pope Pius the 12th
This devotion was given by Jesus against communism, pope Leo, the 13th did a brief that the whole world should say the devotion publicly he gave approval for the con-fraternity of reparation
Saint Therese. her parents and family joined this
Arc-confraternity.
Jesus demanded that this devotion be made public by saying the prayer the Golden arrow He dictated to the Carmelite nun of Tours
It is the greatest devotion of all devotions!
Prayers to the Holy Face of Jesus, in particular of the Face from the veil of Veronica, are in reparation to God for sins against the first three commandments, which offend Him the most. Thank you Fr. Ripperger for answering questions that I've been struggling with my whole life especially with the lost of my 33 year old daughter who passed away 2 years ago from covid. She was my purpose for living because she has Down Syndrome.
As a mother who has lost a child. I find so much comfort knowing my child is safe with Jesus. He died when he was only 1 year old. I have 2 living adult children that do not practice the faith at all. It’s a constant struggle every day for me to not let worry and fear get the best of me concerning them and their souls. You have to know your daughter is safe with Jesus and the evils of this world cannot touch her. And take comfort also knowing that when the time comes, you will be reunited and the restoration of you both will be so beautiful, beyond our imagination. I love what Billy Graham said, if you hear that I have died, know that it’s not true, I just changed addresses. ❤

Thank you Cardinal Dolan for inviting Father Chad Ripperger to give a talk at St Patrick Cathedral. His talk was very inspiring and gives me hope in the future of the Church.
Pray for Fr. Chad! He is one of the spark plugs in God’s engine of evangelization and catechism, the pressures and forces directed at him are immense, and your prayers help him, yourself, and in the end glorify God!
This is possibly the greatest talk which has been given by Fr. Ripperger IMO. Painful truths and joy filled hope coalescing. My only wish is that billions would were watching this instead of thousands. But that is just another sign of the times I suppose.

I’m at minute 14 and I’m constantly distracted by the repeating thought “So this is why the demons came out at St. Patrick’s; oh yeah Satan must have so hated this; etc….too for us to see the usually perceivable but hidden spiritual battle so on display in this Church with these two events (this talk before the transgender Gentili funeral)”. Still, this Church now needs to be reconsecrated (a lot of Churches do, such as the one where I used to live where a Freemason’s funeral was allowed). No wonder the exorcists need an average of 4 years; there are profaned or deconsecrated Churches, disrespected tabernacles more than half a century of sacrilegious acts (communion in the hand). God please have mercy. Praised be Jesus Christ Jesus forever.

Wow, never actually seen St Patrick's Cathedral. That place is gorgeous and glad they still have their altar rail. Also awesome to see the rector wearing a cassock. That is probably the only reason I would ever want to visit NYC.
Also what a great talk, especially the ending reminding us that these are the times God raises up great saints and if we cooperate with grace that could be us.
I had the opportunity to visit in person a decade or so ago. It is absolutely awe inspiring in person, and even in spite all of the tourists wandering around in there, you immediately feel His presence as soon as you enter! I hope you get to experience it in person for yourself! (The tiny church across from the site of 9/11 attack was really the only other place I was concerned with visiting. It was a true miracle of God that it remains in tact!)
It's so worth it. Many many chapels surround the main altar. Each one is so beautiful.

The little church is called St. Paul’s Chapel. It was built sometime in the 18th century and was literally just steps away from one of the towers… When you do get to New York, I highly recommend you visit there as well!

I was so blessed to have been there Thursday evening! So many of my friends also were there! Great priests! Father Ripperger went into so much detail this evening and what really STUCK with me was when he said, CONSECRATE or SURRENDER Yourself , your children and ALL YOUR Possessions to the BLESSED MOTHER (The Immaculate Heart of Mary & the Sacred Heart of Jesus) . He said if we surrender ourselves and all we own to Mother Mary the devil cannot touch what belongs to OUR LADY!

He's right about people being undisciplined. We indulge ourselves way too much because the modern world has made it so easy to do so. It's very easy to become addicted to those things we enjoy having. It's time to deny ourselves more and fasting is a good start.
