@King Tiger, yeah the point is to deny your enemy useful intelligence about your capabilities. If they know you are strong because they see you as strong, the enemy will not take any significant risks against your forces, and thus they can't be as easily trapped, routed, or otherwise outmaneuvered.
It actually makes sense if you ever been at a MLM meeting.
@King Tiger Let me just tell you a little story, maybe you'll like it, who knows? I got bullied a lot growing up and my first instinct was always just to fight back. Never could figure out why but for some strange reason, all that seemed to do was just make those bullies come back even harder.
So, once I entered High School I thought "hell, fighting isn't working...maybe I should try something else...". So, I decided that perhaps just trying to get those bullies to laugh with me would do better...so, I just simply began clowning around a bit, you know, break into a little dance here, crack a silly joke there, maybe take a leap off of a fairly low wall screaming "SUICIDE"...those sorts of silly little goof-ball things.
This eventually led to me getting up during pep rallies acting like my class' own personal cheerleader. Everyone loved it man. No one in the school could quite figure me out anymore and pretty soon I became that kid that just sort of fit into whatever clique I happen to pass by. Man, I could just get on well with goths while not wearing all black, preppers while not appearing ready to own my own company upon graduation, jocks while not being an athlete, even the garage band types even though I lacked any sort of musical talent. You name it, I had a friend or two in it.
Needless to say, the bullying soon stopped. I was voted 'Most School Spirit' my senior year and all jokes made about me from then on were made with the point of trying to make ME laugh as well.
I don't know what the point of all this is really. Maybe it's just a simple little small-town story, who knows?
All I know is, I never won a fight by throwing punches or shouting insults...

Eh, biden being able to string a sentence together without sniffing a child breaks my sense of realism.
Sometimes you can see characters that look like they have giant overbites.

Their puppets I. The old Genesis video for land of confusion gave me nightmares as a kid when I was around 4 or 5. This was during the OG show in The 80's. I would have nightmares about being chased by armies of pop culture and government figures, all in wrinkley-ass, grotesque, caricature. Trying to turn me into one of them throw physical contact. Horrifying!!!
@@kilmcm45 Sorry to hear, I learned of the video being referenced on VH1 in the USA and saw the Video @ 13, I was memorized admittedly, wondering about it, and then looking at a book I bought back in 2000, I realized it was a TV show.
But I understand you though, I thought back then their goal was to make a puppet version of a political cartoon.

I remember the original series in the late 80s. This is a magnificent continuation. It's eerie how well this current climate suits its return.

The way he's characterized is both funny and poignant at the same time...just watch how well "Flap-Joe" owns the Illuminati, all the while playing up the idea of him just being senile and confused. Once it's over, he's got them so questioning their own legitimacy that they just go ahead and present him with the dentist chair that he's been going on about this whole time...because why not?

A brilliant episode. Especially the Illuminati sketch! I especially love the Joe Biden and Boris Johnson puppets. As an Austrian I can also learn a lot about British politics here. I even know now who „that freak Dominic Cummings“ is (or was).

I used to watch the originals when it was broadcast in the UK in the 80's and 90's when I was a teenager. Very funny and novel at that time but I don't remember it being quite as crude back then. Glad I found these in you tube.
