    You have given me a new way to look at it. To see it was a survival tool. And in that its not a thing to feel shame over. . To see it no longer serves . Your channel is so helpful , helps me have so much more compassion for myself . Thank you

    I still put myself in quite a few troublesome situations with other people because of these paranoid thoughts and out of this constant feeling of threat and fear of being humiliated, so I might just lash out at some people every now and then and it'll look like my reaction was disproportionate in relation to the cause. I also tend to view a lot of women as narcissistic. I just wanted an easy way out of it.

    What if someones unrealistic romantic thoughts about a person that doesnt like them back. Fantacising etc. Could they be delusions or a result of overthinking and emotional dependency?

      The unrealistic thoughts could be for many reasons. Maybe a safe way to like a person without feeling like we are going to be hurt or engulfed by them. Relationships are very hard in many ways for people from dysfunctional backgrounds. This video may be useful:
