Strange that he supports Arsenal, a team in red that had it's best days in the late 90s and early 2000s that is currently lost and looking for a new identity after a succession of failures by different leaders.

One day he needs to tell people what Starmer Labour stands for. If he has any chance whatsoever of being PM in the future.
Right now he just agrees with Boris when he thinks it appropriate and popular. Sits on the fence has no stance, when he thinks it will help him. And disagrees when he thinks it's politically helpful for him. No real ideas of his own so far.
@Daniel W And? The overall premise of my post is clear. I would say that oppositions do far more disagreeing on purpose than they do agreeing.
@Daniel W You need to take all what I said as a whole. Then you might get it. Not nitpick.
Okay but you don’t seem to understand his role. His role is not to offer a real alternative, it’s just to reinforce the philo-semitism already present in government.

Long livd Starmer. But you won’t be prime minister before ‘ the man of the people Matthew Hancock ‘.
Get out of my pub
Anyone on here who'd vote Labour instead of a different party now that Keir is leader?
I will wait and see how many of his ten pledges , that won him the leadership, become party policy and then decide.
i’m voting for a different party because starmer is leader
every week im disappointed n left feeling betrayed by him. i encouraged others to vote for him as a unifier, my membership had lapsed.
I have seen the exact opposite with his leadership within the party
Party members are banned from certain topics, or you are kicked from the party. Such as criticing the PPE and vaccine apartheid going on for palestinian population within israel atm.
The roma gypsy and traveller community on twitter are RAGING at him and many have quit the party who were memebers from the pamphlet fiasco. ALL labour media gets official approval from HQ^ THEN he goes to a homophobic church that is notorious for being homophobic. He is either corrupt/bought/homophobic/incompetent for having gone in the 1st place
The list of politicians who have 'endorsed' this church raises redflags for me. this church has links to those rich far rightwing usa religions that donate to usa gov policies too^
When i found out he was part of the trilateral commission 6ish mnths ago, i took a 'wait n watch' approach. He'd just kicked JC out of the party on false grounds imo. Everything iv seen since then has made me feel more n more glad that i quit my membership.
But to be fair, it was him chasing out the 'wrong type of jew' and his purge of the left when hed been voted as a unifier
Then of course i also read that labour leaked report which shows how much of a backstabbing traitor he had been, actively being involved in the internal sabotage of the last 2 elections because hed rather the tories win than labour under JC. HE PREFERED THE TORIES TO LABOUR^ and now im being asked to vote for him. I have integrity and morals. i demand better from our leaders. i demand they be trustworthy and the best of us, not the worst of us. the system is broken. So the ONLY way i could hold my nose n vote for him is to have citizen assemblies and PR. ONLY if we get direct democracy cld i vote for him now.
but to be honest, i wouldnt trust a single policy from him now after having already broken 7/10 of the unifying leadership pledges he promised (it wasnt me who calculated, but not been challenged on this)
I think the greens are the only party currently with a seat that im able to vote for that still has majority leadership with integrity and trustworthy.
I dont like the gaslighting iv seen from blue or red tories.
Labour was built on the foundation of democratic socialism^ Kier/Keir and his kind belong in the lib dems with the other non-tory neo-liberal capitalists^ NOT turn labour into the newest version of lib dems
100% - Starmer sees public office as a duty to others in society rather than an opportunity to siphon public money into the pockets of friends. He has integrity. That alone should make the decision clear, but inexplicably the electorate prefer the national self-destruction of the Tories.
Not me

Which the Tory owned media have focussed heavily on- the same media that has ignored Matt Hancock's corruption

If he could not make an impact when we were all stuck at home for a year watching telly during the pandemic then he wasn’t going to do it come local election time. Sir Keir Starmer will be an interim leader expected to clear up the mess left by Corbyn just like Neil Kinnock. The real contest for the leadership will begin about 1 year prior to the next general election when the real contenders like Stephen Kinnock start to emerge from the woodwork & launch a coup. If he is Keir is still leader then.
Come on Keir. The working class has changed. I'm 30, i work 6 days 8am- 8pm to make ends meet.
