I was bored so I did this slash video about Bono and Edge. They're such a cute couple.
Everlasting Love is the other B-Side on the All I Want Is You single from 1989.

It builds so great.
U2's dynamic version of Love Affair's 60's classic "Everlasting Love". The thrashing acoustic guitars at the start herald a whole new approach to this song, sung with Bono's characteristic passion. Best of all, they keep the melody intact as they reinvent the sound of the song. Absolutely brilliant example of how to re-invigorate a beautiful old tune.
and giving us solo acoustic guitarists an avenue to drive down if we want to cover this great old song (which I do)
I do appreciate the photo montage. Bono and The Edge has sustained a beautiful love for around 45 years. Really inspirational to see two men share affection so warmly snd genuinely.

I'm not a fan of U2, I don't hate them or anything, but never felt the pull, but this song is so beautiful and memorable (even as a cover) you've gotta admit it's fantastic

This is such a great up tempo version, an accoustic Intro witn such a Vibe, as a kid U2 was like the Beatles and stones where for the older génération, that was the moment that i realised that music would have such Impact on me, the strongest thing that effects your state of mind, thank you for the music 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Whilst Bono at times can be a monumental pain in the ass and tends to go on a bit for his own good, his heart is in the right place and can imagine he'd be great to have a beer with. The Edge is clearly the brains of the operation. If it wasn't for him, U2 would have split up years ago (or Larry would have kicked Bono's head in by now to put it more bluntly!)

A couple of pics back from the days when The Edge used to smile. The cutest pic of course is the one w/the little lambs. Ah U2 back in the '80's; back when people thought Bono might've been tall (He looked it at MSG). Hey Question (an '80's 1) - I used to have this 2-single fold-out U2 release. It came after Unforgetable..& it had 'Love Comes Tumbling' (& 3 others). 1 tune was something like 'Love song..' 'Sunnnshine! Sun shine on me!' (that was the chorus). I don't know the name of this tune
