This is like a master level collecting class! I love this conversation, and that it's such a personal experience we all have different answers to the collection question.
Great topic, man! A curated collection is way more interesting to me, nowadays. Makes the collection more personalized. Trying to slim down myself now. Especially for consoles I don't really care for all that much.
Ness this is a banger Video Bro, The story of your Mom laying down the challenge for the dragon dagger is absolutely awesome. The stories of how we got into game are always good to hear. It's also awesome to know you aren't collecting to just have a shrine of games, absolutely great content Bro the channel is one of my favorites. Keep the great content coming.
Crazy it’s been 2 months already! I started doing this a couple years ago, now I only have what I love/what I love to replay. I also emulate a lot now because In reality we don’t have enough time to play all these anyways, especially if you’re like me and would rather travel and be on the go. Nice vid Ness! ❤️🎮
Thanks! Definitely an interesting conversation for sure. That's awesome that everything in you're game room has a special meaning! I'll get there one day 🙂
Coming from Mr. Wright way. Dude, really awesome video. You had good vibes, editing, great story about your gaming collecting. Keep making videos! I subscribed.
Great Video! I've recently done this and it's been the best decision for me. I don't regret it which is how i know i didn't have any attachment to them. I think everyone for the most part grows as a collector. We all got a lot a game for cheap and let's be honest, it was shelf filler. "Look at all these games". But the more you get into collecting, space becomes a factor as well as streamlining. I only collect nintendo. I only have nintendo consoles besides my ps5. And i'm completely happy with it.
Very good tips. I didn't start out wanting to be a collector. I have been on xbox360, X1 and Xbox Series mainly. Around 2017 is when I bought a ps4 just for exclusives, and in 2020 got a switch just for exclusives. Now days I have 7 platforms to consider buying stuff for, Xbox 360, Xbox one, Xbox series X, Switch, DS/3DS, PS4 and PS5.
It’s easy for us to fall into the trap of buying games for various consoles. So many good games out there. I also have a lot of bad ones 🤣 so I figured why not start letting go of some and focus on the good stuff. Sounds like you have a solid plan for the games you want on various consoles.
Sigh... I need to do the same thing... But it's like, seeing that closet as a kid and knowing that when you open that door, you better not be right next to it! LOL Great video!
It took me awhile to come to terms and say it’s time to consolidate a little bit. It actually feels really good removing some of those games from the collection.
@@neo_ness super Metroid , Zelda a link to the past , super Mario kart , street fighter 2 , donkey Kong country , super ghouls n ghost , super Castlevania 4 , super Mario world , StarFox ,fzero .. all my childhood games … everything is super clean in box and that’s games I will always play . :)
dude, this topic hits me right in heart. I think about doing this all of the time lol
It took me a while to actually get the courage to do it. Feels good though no regrets with the games I let go of.

Thanks Rob! I can definitely see my collection slimming down some more in the future.
@@neo_ness you’re welcome! And nice, so freeing!!!
It’s the little details that matter the most. Having a lot of random stuff just takes away from the overall quality. Great video bro💯🫡
Couldn’t agree more. Thanks bro!
Great video. Always interesting to think about. Everything in my game room means something special to me. :)

You shouldn’t have the dragon dagger until you beat her score 😂
🤣🤣 my Mom said I have to beat her score or she’s going to confiscate the dragon dagger until I do. Diabolical 🤣
@@neo_ness 😂
I got 1 Super Nintendo in box and 10 of the best games ever made in box
That’s it ! I don’t need nothing else ! And I love it !
Nice! That’s what it’s all about! What games?

@Backintoons8515 Some awesome titles!
How much and where did you get your cases to store your games? Those are so nice I get my storage from thrift stores.
IKEA Billy book cases with the Oxberg glass doors.
This was a good guide for anyone and you really did good, just don't betray ya boy lol
Lol 😂 Tiberius always has something to say
It's a natural progression
