The best ending would be an All Might sacrifice. Subvert the expectations, and then have All Might's vestige reignite OFA inside of Deku, empowering him to win the fight and begin rebuilding One For All.
This is very similar to how movie 2 ended. Deku transferred OFA. Then he still fought with just embers and still went 100% power against nine. Just to get OFA back in the end. And if I remember correctly. That movie was to be close to the original ending

Not necessarily. They were always main characters, but the story focused more on how their powers and actions shaped their entire country and how this was affecting both old and new generations. When the story at became mostly "deku and AfO race for power" it became boring and formulaic. It got to a point that we are on the last part of the last arc and most of the 1-a character development had to happen in a Rush or not happen at all. Ida was one of the most important characters at the start and his growth stopped at the stain arc!

The only one that comes remotely close is Shoto and that's cause his family drama is relatable and raw. Everyone else in the class is boring as Hell by comparison so it makes sense horikoshi would focus on his MAIN CHARACTER 😒
My theory is the series will end with Midoriya getting AfO. A few chapters back it was said the power to give and take away quirks should have been a blessing. I think Shigaraki is alive in there as Tenko and he will give Deku AfO on contact when Deku strikes a critical blow. The series will come full circle twice over with him powerless and then being granted power for showing his selfless courage, perhaps doubly so if he gets AfO without any of the absorbed powers
Would love to see deku get stars and stripes quirk. She was in his vestige world... it's honestly the perfect quirk for him. With how much he thinks and is always coming up with a solution for things with the " if only i had "whatever it is he needs here" . he could literally do that with her quirk. Id be happy with that. I’ve had this crazy idea for the entire MHA manga that somehow deku will transfer one for all or whatever is left of it to every single one of the heroes in the final battle but once everyone has had it they pass it back to deku potentially giving deku the full power of one for alls stock piling ability that it had before on top of every single quirk that is in the final battle against all for one but just powered up, something similar in how in one of the movies deku shares one for all with bakugo temporarily giving them both the full power of one for all
What if deku resets to being the new first user ( like the base stockpile quirk) then the series could continue with deku tryna get back to the power of all might and then it could eventually be passed down again
In the anime Izuku himself is actually the narrator and I believe it's in season 1 where he said something like "and this is the story of how I become the greatest hero in the world", so for me there's no way Deku becomes quirkless or completely goes back to base 1 or else that would contradict the way this story has been set from the very beginning.

Remember the opening 7,, Shigaraki AFO-> Reverted back to Tenko remember?? And this happens after the scene where Deku gives one for all and the vestiges (Also in the opening 7). They foreshadow a lot yk! So what I think will happen is a recreation of the scene where he ran to Bakugo with the sludge villain. Plus that movie two heroes- Deku says that he wants to save people so its not gonna end this way in the series. WHAT IM SAYING IS-> Deku is gonna run to save Tenko, who he will see struggling to come onto the surface within AFO.
A few things I'm thinking of that Horikoshi might be building up: - there might be a reversal effect when OFA "breaks" that would cause it to come back somehow - now that AFO is back on the field, I wonder what makes of All Might? What about his vestige form? - What if OFA vestiges didn't die off but temporarily disappeared along with Tenko and returns with the vestiges? So many questions lol
He could have a quirkless awakening. A power All for One can’t take. His body has gone through so much damage that it evolves Deadpool style to where his normal body keeps the Super strength even if he no longer has energy stockpiled.
I would've thought that Deku would still have the base part of the quirk since it was explained that even if it is gone, the stockpile remains unchanged even though the quirks are gone. It is for certain that the passed All For One users are definitely gone though unless otherwise.

In the end, I think Deku is going to steal "All For One" and release Tenko so that he can take over, as the last remaining consciousness, and Deku will possess "One For All" and "All For One," just my opinion from just seeing how everything is going so far.
This is a super slim chance but I think there's a possibility that Eri's horn getting stabbed into him may give him a slight factor for her quirk. Maybe boosted with the remains of ofa and also a slight possibility shigaraki may be living in deku
I know this is just anime stuff and things will work out but it’s just wild to me that the villains goal was to take his powers and so to beat him he gives him what he wants…so if all for one just took one for all in the beginning series before deku would he have lost? Should almighty have just given it to him? So maybe this plan only works agains Shig… but why again? I’m just picturing the ending where he’s like. O no you gave me all of your powers. Maybe it explodes him because he has too many but he can get rid of quarks at will so idk.
Still hoping we see deku awaken his true quirk. I’d bet he has a useless quirk like yoichis original quirk. Like he has the ability to learn and use any quirk. Which would explain how he was so good with the multiple quirks in OFA and why he catalogues peoples quirks in his notebooks since quirks can directly effect personality like AFO (quirk klepto) or toga. But it would only be useful if he had another quirk to use. And would be crazy useful to AFO since he doesn’t typically take quirks he has to “master”

He never said he was the strongest hero, just that he became the greatest hero. For all we know that could mean that Deku is celebrated by their society for taking on this huge responsibility despite his young age and his selfless and kind personality. He could be a 'Symbol of Hope' to people with less flashy or no quirks because he proved that you can become someone's hero with just kind actions. Even quirkless people can 'move mountains' if they are strong-willed, just and compassionate. Not to mention that he gave up his chance of fulfilling his life-long dream of being a professional hero, and the quirk he was given for his heroic nature, for the sake of others. That's just how good he is. The people in their world might find that inspiring. Anyway, that's just my two cents, have a nice day

I think he keeps the quirk. Like in the movie when he gave the power to bakugo, it returned to Deku. I think when the first user told Deku he is the final wielder of ofa that means that he will always have ofa. It will always return to him.
Decay is from a deconstruction quirk not necessarily overhauls quirk. There can be multiple quirks with similar attributes for eg Bakugo and Endeavor both have fire or combustion quirks
I had a feeling something like this was gonna happen but I thought maybe the All Might vestige was still within his body and he would use his version of the quark. Might still happen I don’t think we saw him drawn during the transfer panels (I might be wrong) and since the other vestiges are gone it becomes fully conscious.
This anime really went downhill. No one ever dies, it keeps contradicting itself and it just keeps stretching the story for literally nothing. All might was supposed to die but he didn’t, bakugo was supposed to die but he didn’t because edgeshot “sacrificed” himself to safe him but he would die in the process, but because bakugo had freaking SWEAT inside his blood system edgeshot didn’t die. Now all for one was supposed to die but then again, HE DIDNT. This feels like a kids cartoon at this point.

I'm fully convinced all of 1-A will eventually show up. By my count it's Ochako, Kacchan, Tanya, and Tokoyami that haven't shown up yet. There's a popular theory the Ochako they rescued is actually Toga and the real Ochako is on her way to help Izuku. I'm crossing my fingers we get a decent amount of post-war content. I think MHA is a popular enough series where they let Horikoshi take his time with it. I also wanna see Izuku and Ochako get together 💚💖
I think the reason he was able to take over Shiggy after dying has to do with the fact that AFO was using a copy of his original quirk, but they implanted the original into Shiggy. Like somehow that was part of the plan

The author really betrayed us , tricked us, and cheated us out of a great story because he didn't want to write it anymore that's some real bullshit cause this was such a good story to begin with and now everybody just wishing it was over
Been a fan for years, and still am, even if I'm not feeling the way the story's going. It's HIS story, he can do whatever he wants, but saying that overlooks the impact stories have on people. Stories aren't just for the creator; they affect everyone who hears or reads them. Being responsible with storytelling means thinking about how it might affect others and making choices that respect them. It's about using the power of storytelling wisely. I respect Horikoshi, but I'm just bummed it turned out like this. The way he's writing it lately is a letdown. He throws in cool stuff only to yank it out, forgets important plot points, and rushes to wrap it up. I get he might be dealing with health stuff, but ending it like this feels rushed. The characters just feel like they're there to move the plot along now.

In the anime Izuku himself is actually the narrator and I believe it's in season 1 where he said something like "and this is the story of how I become the greatest hero in the world", so for me there's no way Deku becomes quirkless or completely goes back to base 1 or else that would contradict the way this story has been set from the very beginning.
He could still end up quirkless and everyone hails him as the new "symbol of peace".
Remember it isn't about power, as Stain once told All Might.

While All Might had about 40 years to himself of being a hero and establishing himself as the Symbol of Peace, Deku is still just a kid who literally started high school and it'd be incredibly disappointing for me if Deku ends up losing his powers or becomes quirkless in that very first year of UA 💀.

In the later series there is a commentary of deku saying, this is were we all became number 1 heros if I'm not mistaken

Fuck this shit I don’t care that Izuku could be a hero quirkless I’m just mad that it will feel like getting OFA was pointless in the first place like if you’re going to make him quirkless at the end anyway then don’t give him the damn quirk. The vestiges has to play some sort of role in maybe disrupting shigaraki or destabilizing the AFO quirk because i really think it's pointless for deku to lose his entire quirk to just fight with some embers all for the other heroes to be able to stand with deku on a more similar pedestal. I'm Hoping he gets back OFA with the quirks but maybe bye bye vestiges.

Remember the opening 7,, Shigaraki AFO-> Reverted back to Tenko remember?? And this happens after the scene where Deku gives one for all and the vestiges (Also in the opening 7). They foreshadow a lot yk! So what I think will happen is a recreation of the scene where he ran to Bakugo with the sludge villain. Plus that movie two heroes- Deku says that he wants to save people so its not gonna end this way in the series. WHAT IM SAYING IS->
Deku is gonna run to save Tenko, who he will see struggling to come onto the surface within AFO.
A few things I'm thinking of that Horikoshi might be building up:
- there might be a reversal effect when OFA "breaks" that would cause it to come back somehow
- now that AFO is back on the field, I wonder what makes of All Might? What about his vestige form?
- What if OFA vestiges didn't die off but temporarily disappeared along with Tenko and returns with the vestiges?

Is it just me, or does Eri's horn look ALOT like All for One's mom's horns/spikes? They even have the same color hair
He could have a quirkless awakening. A power All for One can’t take. His body has gone through so much damage that it evolves Deadpool style to where his normal body keeps the Super strength even if he no longer has energy stockpiled.
I would've thought that Deku would still have the base part of the quirk since it was explained that even if it is gone, the stockpile remains unchanged even though the quirks are gone. It is for certain that the passed All For One users are definitely gone though unless otherwise.
If you remember correctly Yoichi's transfer Quirk is mixed with Stockpile
Now that I think about it, All Might was part of the vestige even though he doesn’t have a quirk to begin with. So how the hell does that work?

In the end, I think Deku is going to steal "All For One" and release Tenko so that he can take over, as the last remaining consciousness, and Deku will possess "One For All" and "All For One," just my opinion from just seeing how everything is going so far.
That is what I believe and hope will happen.
This is a super slim chance but I think there's a possibility that Eri's horn getting stabbed into him may give him a slight factor for her quirk. Maybe boosted with the remains of ofa and also a slight possibility shigaraki may be living in deku
I have a theory; if Deku does not get back OFA, Eri's horn might have infused with him, essentially making his Embers permanent.
I know this is just anime stuff and things will work out but it’s just wild to me that the villains goal was to take his powers and so to beat him he gives him what he wants…so if all for one just took one for all in the beginning series before deku would he have lost?

Which would explain how he was so good with the multiple quirks in OFA and why he catalogues peoples quirks in his notebooks since quirks can directly effect personality like AFO (quirk klepto) or toga. But it would only be useful if he had another quirk to use. And would be crazy useful to AFO since he doesn’t typically take quirks he has to “master”

Isn't Deku supposed to be the strongest hero in the future? I think that's how MHA start, with him talking to someone about how he became the strongest hero. He's not gonna be quirkless.
He never said he was the strongest hero, just that he became the greatest hero.
For all we know that could mean that Deku is celebrated by their society for taking on this huge responsibility despite his young age and his selfless and kind personality.
He could be a 'Symbol of Hope' to people with less flashy or no quirks because he proved that you can become someone's hero with just kind actions. Even quirkless people can 'move mountains' if they are strong-willed, just and compassionate.
Not to mention that he gave up his chance of fulfilling his life-long dream of being a professional hero, and the quirk he was given for his heroic nature, for the sake of others.
That's just how good he is. The people in their world might find that inspiring.

I think he keeps the quirk. Like in the movie when he gave the power to bakugo, it returned to Deku. I think when the first user told Deku he is the final wielder of ofa that means that he will always have ofa. It will always return to him.

Decay is from a deconstruction quirk not necessarily overhauls quirk. There can be multiple quirks with similar attributes for eg Bakugo and Endeavor both have fire or combustion quirks
I had a feeling something like this was gonna happen but I thought maybe the All Might vestige was still within his body and he would use his version of the quark. Might still happen I don’t think we saw him drawn during the transfer panels (I might be wrong) and since the other vestiges are gone it becomes fully conscious.

This anime really went downhill. No one ever dies, it keeps contradicting itself and it just keeps stretching the story for literally nothing. All might was supposed to die but he didn’t, bakugo was supposed to die but he didn’t because edgeshot “sacrificed” himself to safe him but he would die in the process, but because bakugo had freaking SWEAT inside his blood system edgeshot didn’t die. Now all for one was supposed to die but then again, HE DIDNT. This feels like a kids cartoon at this point.

I'm fully convinced all of 1-A will eventually show up. By my count it's Ochako, Kacchan, Tanya, and Tokoyami that haven't shown up yet. There's a popular theory the Ochako they rescued is actually Toga and the real Ochako is on her way to help Izuku.
I'm crossing my fingers we get a decent amount of post-war content. I think MHA is a popular enough series where they let Horikoshi take his time with it. I also wanna see Izuku and Ochako get together

I think the reason he was able to take over Shiggy after dying has to do with the fact that AFO was using a copy of his original quirk, but they implanted the original into Shiggy.

Been a fan for years, and still am, even if I'm not feeling the way the story's going. It's HIS story, he can do whatever he wants, but saying that overlooks the impact stories have on people. Stories aren't just for the creator; they affect everyone who hears or reads them. Being responsible with storytelling means thinking about how it might affect others and making choices that respect them. It's about using the power of storytelling wisely. I respect Horikoshi, but I'm just bummed it turned out like this. The way he's writing it lately is a letdown. He throws in cool stuff only to yank it out, forgets important plot points, and rushes to wrap it up. I get he might be dealing with health stuff, but ending it like this feels rushed. The characters just feel like they're there to move the plot along now.

Many a fan stopped enjoying it after the first war and after the death of star and strippes because the Fandom felt like he was robbing us of the true overall experience of the story and yes it made a good impact on people at first but now the story is negatively impacting the Fandom who helped the story get to where it is now because if there weren't any fans then there wouldn't be a story frfr or at least the story wouldn't have gone on as long as it has but once again it feels like the author turned his back on the Fandom because he is ready to end the story and doesn't care to flush out or even pay off on anything he's set up before he fell out of love with the series AND THATS JUST BULLSHIT TO ME
