Bianca's brother nailed it when he said - Let your tyres down. It's not hard and it looks after the track. I couldn't agree more. I thought it would be less powdery on the first run up with the recent rain. Suggest you check your aerial fittings on the radio. Make sure they're all tight. I've been caught out with a loose aerial at its roo bar mount so now check it at each stop. Another great episode. Thanks.
I often do my Lamb loin chops in Tandaco Southern fried Chicken crumb mix and often add in some crushed chilli and garlic powder. Fry slowly in some butter/oil.....................magnificent. They also do a Salt and Pepper type mix for Fish/Squid which is also excellent. Conditions can catch you out pretty easily. I was in a 4wd with a guy driving a bit quick on a beach and there was a washout he never even saw. I yelled out and he slowed down a bit but it was basically a 300ml drop and then the same up after a bit. We hit pretty hard and crap went everywhere. If we had hit it much harder I suspect we might have have been walking home. Very nice place and a good video. Thank you.
Whoa! The lenght of the gap where your car went airbourne is fairly decent, especially for a vehicle that's neary 3 tonnes.😲 I hope no lasting damage to your vehicle was had.🤞
Turn ur squelch down so it's not picking up every lil radio transmission? Set it like number 2 or 3? Is the antenna connection in the back of the radio nipped up. Routing of ur antenna cabling kept away from high current wiring (winches car stereos starter cables spotlight ect)
where was my invite you dont know be but still. all good lol lookes like a fun trip glad to have you back keep up the good work dissapointed i was late to the vid
A great place for adventure 👍😉 In summer the 'peanut gallery' sit out in chairs with their eskies and applaud all those that fail on the first big dune on the way up off the beach, reminiscent of Inskip Point in QLD 😂😂😂
Ive had the issue with the 2.1dbi antenna, found that the pin that screws into the whip base had partially broken off. Could be worth checking the bottom of the aerial
oh man when I was getting out of that camp it was so soft and bumpy that it was impossible to get any decent speed without a concussion I also managed to get 7 meters of no tracks on the sand from a bump just like it (i was going way yo fast) all part of the fun awesome vid guys
Really wanting to check out yeagarup beach camping but I have a Mitsubishi Outlander AWD. Would you advise against? I've made it to big lagoon camp grounds before in Francois Peron and wondering if it would be similar?
Our old hrs 330 did they same. We would turn it off for a few minutes when it got bad, then turn it back on. Seemed to clear itself after the reset. Always happened every time we turned the radio on.
Hi, trying to find the first camp you were,at on this, trip near bridgtown. Can you enlighten me as to its, were about. Checked wiki clamps, no good. Thanks brian
Thanks for sharing beautiful SW WA - Bianca’s compensation for being height challenged amused me as I use the same method for my 5’3 stature (in the old scale) - I decided that a 50kg drop slide was way to heavy and expensive so I found a small $26 Engel fridge basket which fits perfectly at the top half of my Engel 21 litre fridge/freezer - all I had to do is cut the top half of my existing basket fit small plastic caps over each cut so now I can reach all the small quick access items at the top in the new basket and keep long term items in the old bottom half - I don’t have the room for an upright Bushman but I can see why they’re the go-to fridge style now - did you find the source of the problem with the GME?
@@explorebound Ok that’s good Daniel and explains the local interference either from vehicle electronics or close signal source which a phone will do as it hunts for signal strength - it will be interesting to see if your transmission signal strength at the receiver’s end is maintained?
The static could be your phone ive seen it on the GME XRS page, could turn them on to "flight mode" then off....also what brand arial do you have on the XRS? how old is it etc? 🤔🤔
I have the exact same problem with my Oricom dual way radio. I haven't found what the problem is yet. I was going to get it replaced with a GME. But it seems like you guys are having the same problem lol. When you find out what the problem is hopefully I can fix mine as well. I have changed antenna and also replaced the hand held unit. Still haven't fixed it
@@kenshin-1135ur antenna cabling might be too close to high current wiring causing interference. Wrap it in conduit if ur running through the engine bay and try to give it its own dedicated path away from everything else?
Yep! Currently testing out the San Hima Kalbarri Mk2 (mainly due to rear entry functionality), will share a video about it once we've put it through more real world testing. 🙂
Hi again far-west travellers - it can take some time to eliminate causes of radio reception/transmission - 1. first thing I would try is to test the GME with your vehicle turned off to determine if some of the modern vehicle electronics are interfering despite you having squelch set to max which I believe is 9 there may be something ‘local’ causing this because weaker signals far away shouldn’t get through - 2. I expect your high gain antenna is OK but you could try your unit in another vehicle if possible or swap antennas between 3 & 6db - this may give you a clue to see if your weak transmission signal is antenna/cable shorting or earthing or unit related? 3. Borrow another handheld mic and try that as well - 4. Test your handheld mic in another unit if possible - good luck and post your results on next video if you’re happy to do this.
Great to see a mighty GQ in action. So miss mine 😩. Once your camera showed something that caught my eye, the fire pit. Looked easy to set up & pack down. What brand please?

Most people only think of themselves ... wont listen & know everything. My experience.
Whos that yobbo eating raw onion off the plate? 😂 loved this one. Yeagerups so pretty in the winter when the bush is greened up
Dukes of Hazard style beach driving Miss B!
B’s brother seems like a local legend! Need to run some weekend guided tours of the area
Famous last words: Bianca your getting soon a new table to work on. Great clip guys thanks for sharing

Bianca giving it the Full Send!, those eggs are pre scrambled
cool video the number plate on the pootrol is pretty questionable though 😉
Lovely Ep guys and awesome looking country

Keep up the great vids 👍
Thanks for sharing
What an enjoyable trip
Cheers 👍
Very tidy GQ. Looking forward to the rig rundown
Great video everyone 👍🏿 Bianca's little flying episode was so funny, had a good chuckle over it 😂😂😂
nice one mate, well done ! 👍👍

With the radio I wonder if there is a small short in the aerial mounting 🤔
Are you guys from baldivis? Thought I would of seen the dmax around by now

Washing up with paper towel when camping is the only way. That GQ looks mint.

A few people suggested turning phones to airplane mode when out of reception and so far this seems to have solved the issue 🙂
@@explorebound Ok that’s good Daniel and explains the local interference either from vehicle electronics or close signal source which a phone will do as it hunts for signal strength - it will be interesting to see if your transmission signal strength at the receiver’s end is maintained?
Adding the the UHF possible issue. When you installed it you wound the aerial cable pretty tightly. ?

Thanks for this mate - I think you've solved it for us! 🍻 (Aerial wise it's the one that came factory in the XRS outback pack).
People make claims that they've got their vehicles airborne, but Bianca has actual proof that all 4 wheels were off the ground 🤣

That’s actually a known fault with the xrs radios and I’ve had a couple replaced under warranty for this exact reason.
Can Bianca drop where she got those pants from!! I know someone who would love those especially for those cold nights camping!!
What tyre pressure ya run in rear? I found anything under 30 with similar setup is a bit low?
On road I run 42psi front and 44psi rear, offroad I go down to 15psi all round to start with, further if required.

Hi, it's a Winnerwell folding fire pit 🔥
Your mobile phone is roaming and searching for a signal , I have proved this after talking with a GME tech , turn off/ power down your phones
Thanks mate! After seeing your comment have tried flipping phones to airplane mode and seems to have done the trick 👍
