Thanks for this video Larissa. I have always had plants, and took a cutting from someone’s “marble Queen”, or so I thought. I always wondered what I was doing wrong because the leaves were so white. NOW I know……..it’s a “Snow Queen”. Love your channel, you are so sweet and a joy to watch. 😊❤️

I bought a marble queen about 10 years ago, and I've had it in three different houses. Initially, it looked exactly like the marble queen, but then I moved to a new house and put it in a spot that was a dim and never got direct sunlight. New shoots ended up growing off the plant near the base of the plant in the pot that had leaves thay were COMPLETELY green with no white at all. After a few years, I moved to a new house again that has the morning sun shining directly on it. New shoots ended up growing off the plant again at the base that ended up looking exactly like the snow queen. The thing is though that all three types of shoots are still growing leaves of their respective type. The shoot that has completely green leaves is still growing new leaves that are completely green. The original shoots are still growing leaves that look like the marble queen, and the new shoots are growing leaves that look like the snow queen. Its all one plant too!

I regret to inform you that they are not the same. The "snow queen" even if you leave it in a dark place does not lose that dot pattern, it becomes greener but with the same pattern. But, if you leave the "marble" in a less illuminated place, it begins to have increasingly greener leaves, almost completely losing that pattern of points. I have both.

I have 9 different varieties of pothos , 13 in all. I have 76 plants in all. I have been doing this for 35 years. When pothos doesn't get enough light they lose their variegated and goes to green. So they must have lots of light. So, you cannot change a plant from what it is.

From my knowledge they are actually not the same .. there are small differences but they are definitely different for instance the snow queen at its most colorful will be 80% white and 20% green . And the marble queen will have 50/50 white to green . The confusion comes in because the marble queen can also get more variegated in higher light but still won’t reach the snow queens variegation. Also the snow queen has smaller slimmer leaves. And they both have 2 layers of variation but snow queens has more white var and marble has more mid tones and green

I bought what was labelled Marble queen but looking at it compared to your Snow Queen pothos it's very much like yours. 90 percent of its leaves are white with green speckles
