I like her, she's cute and seems genuine and I love that she has an elevator for her mom and puppy! Before she even said that about her mom, my first thought was, I wish I'd had that for my mom! ♥ And I definitely think you should wallpaper the elevator! Why not? It's a pretty groovy thing to have and you wouldn't have to worry about the paper "going with" anything else. You could do something completely wild and it wouldn't clash or interfere with anything and it would be more fun than a ride in white box. Do it!

Sue loves her home and family. Very clean lines in her home and not too fussy. Large, beautiful home to enjoy with seating areas to suit her moods/reading, painting or relaxing to watch TV. Thank you Sue for the invitation to Homeworthy and to us.
Very calm and clean. Not too much but just enough. I love how she framed a lot of sentimental items. She loves her family and what makes up their story. I think that’s great.
(One question though: how’d they get that piano on the second floor?! lol)

I saw your comment before I watched the video, and I thought surely she's overreacting. But I'm now 2/3 of the way through and I haven't seen any color yet. It's a perfectly lovely home, and she's a totally charming lady, but I would have titled this a symphony of neutrals. Vibrant colors are the last words I would have ever used.

I think the 3 prints of her children on the stairs was it, hung over the beige regency stripe wallpaper. For that I'm thankful.

It's a very lovely home, but "Neutral Layering with a touch of Color", would certainly be more fitting...
This tone on tone neutral colorway is actually on it's way out...
It’s titled Vibrant and Colorful because the home and its owner/designer is full of interest. The home was carefully curated and is vibrant. There’s uniqueness and stories throughout the home. It wasn’t meant to be literal as in the home being full of color. Hope that helps.
What a charming home. Sophisticated but comfortable. Sue brings an artist's eye for color, design, space. That "minor" in art shines.

Her house is beautiful. God bless her home and enjoy. It’s great when a person is able to pick-out flowers from their own garden. I like those big batteries frames; her children painted frames on the wall of the stairs, the large chandelier as a center piece. Another things I appreciate is that she shares designers tips about not to “push furnitures against the wall. ( I live in a city apartment, where I have a very large classic sofa and due to space, I’m unable to place it away from the wall and yes it makes the room confined. To have an elevator is a bones and a blessing for someone to have in their own home. I don’t care what someone else says but this house decor is unique for someone who is sensitive, and homey as this lady is .🙏
Beautiful home and Sue is a charming, down to earth woman. Perhaps most moving for me is the framed dress of her grandmother and then seeing the passport photo in the hallway close by. I love that she memorialized this important part of her family history, which reminds us all of what too many families faced not too very long ago.

A beautiful home! I like the elevator idea! My mom is in her 90s and her second floor does not get used because she could no longer climb the stairs😢 Its a necessity! Wish i could put one in my house!

I love the idea of wallpapering the elevator. I was in Palm Beach at The Colony Hotel where they had a beautiful, I believe Schumacher wallpaper in their elevator that was gorgeous. Your home is stunning!!! Such lovely attention to detail!!

I absolutely love this home! I would feel so at home there from the kitchen to the penny tile and the lovely blue and white in each room along with the Chinoiserie boxes and jars. Sue comes across as wholesome, not at all pretentious and appreciative of everything while putting her family first! And she is a New Englander by birth as am I. I love the dinning room , the wall paper and the chandelier. I share the same love for stars ✨ and I will have add star mural decor on the dining wall paper and it will just match so well that people won’t notice at first glance but if they spend a little moment analyse it, they will find the hidden treasure. We had a small brick house covered with ivy……it destroyed the mortar and cracked the bricks….I always thought it was so pretty….well it cost a pretty penny to fix the ivy damage and Sheetrock damage…..good luck….hope you don’t have the same problem….
