- On today’s episode of Homeworthy, we’re bringing you to Northern Virginia for a look into Jacqueline Bond’s especially charming 1950's home. With sprawling grounds and expansive living spaces, the home was love at first sight for Jacqueline and her husband after living in DC for a decade.
As co-founder of publishing and art house Bond and Grace, Jacqueline’s home is ever-evolving with her artistic collaborations on rotational display. Bursts of color carry a cheerful atmosphere throughout the home, while an edited curation of vintage furnishings brings Jacqueline’s personal touch into each space. A spice garden and serene outdoor living space sit upon two acres of land, where Jacqueline frequently hosts fabulous events, soirees and family gatherings. Enjoy!

I love this homeowner. She’s real and has no pretense about her. Does she live far beyond what most of us can afford…probably but she’s not stuffy and pretending to be someone she’s not. As for the changing area… she has it downstairs where she can easily access it and anyone who has had a baby knows it would be insane to have to run upstairs every time Miss Lila needs changing. Speaks to this young lady being a good mother & attentive to her baby’s needs before decorating. Kudos to this young couple for creating a home full of love, beauty and welcome to all.

Hope this doesn't sound weird but Jacqueline brought tears to my eyes a few times. She is so humble, lovely and her home is perfection. She is clearly passionate about her life and that is so refreshing.
It doesn’t because I got teary eyed to especially when she had her little girl with her talking about her room😊
Lovely homeowner and beautiful baby. I didnt like the home, it looks catalogued and personality less, the art works are all prints , no real art, entrance hall painting is horrid. I love the garden, mostly lawned and hydrangea, it needs some interest. The chairs are horrid. Too white and glary. The house itself is gorgeous, frontage , big rooms set in 2 acres , lovely.
Beautiful home! Comfortable. My one surprise was the den and that it was designed with her "husband in mind." It is a very feminine room.
A note to the homeowner: You might want to consider a glass top for your wood-top island.

I loved the house, my favorite color was the lacquered blue office actually.. and I loved seeing Laila.
If you cut the peonies long just when the colour of the bud shows and wrap them up, put them in the fridge; when your peonies in the garden have waned you can still have peonies ( just cut them and put them in fresh water in vases and they will open up fully. When friends visit they will be amazed how you can still have peonies. Love your home, I noticed your staircase is on such a gentle flow, going up and down much be a dream, like Scarlett O’Hara in her beautiful gowns. Your books and the inspiration of art is genius. ❤

Great house, layout, proportions, exterior design and garden setting. Looks great and still has huge potential. I would paint the exterior garden walls brick to match the house. The lady of the house has a fun, eclectic style and no doubt the house will get better and better over time.

My guess is by rotating the art in her home as part of her business it is a business expense and tax write off--at least partly.
It's not hard at all. You don't even have to be rich. Just save the items you love. Over time they add up and then you have your treasures!
She must come from a wealthy family. Or the husband's family is wealthy?

As beautiful as these large homes and expansive grounds are, I wish Homeworthy would feature a cottage or a smaller home that the average person (like me) can more closely identify. I love this home and the beautiful artwork. As a former first-grade teacher, I'm always fascinated to see how people hold their pens/pencils. As a side note, I also love wax seals but my local postmaster told me they will no longer accept them and will be returned to me.

It’s generous of Jacqueline to share the artists names and where she bought her pieces throughout her home. It was a little odd to see a diaper changing area in the family room. I love Jacqueline’s attitude that her home isn’t just for she and her family but that they’ve created a space for others as well. I really enjoyed this tour.👏🏻

She needs a small table between the two green chairs in her tea room. I kept wondering where I would put my drink if I was sitting in it. Coffee table is also too far away from the sofas as well. The room didn’t seem very comfortable in my opinion.
