That is the theme of my year. Sorta like "Your eyes are bigger than your stomach" I had taken on so many new responsibilities (for fun) and I had to keep measuring how I was meeting my responsibilities throughout. It never clicked until I found out to value my freetime too. Your hobbies and freetime are as, or more valuable than your work. Once I found that, it was making sure my freetime was truly freetime. Enjoy your freetime and don't worry about the outside.
"...the longer your stride, the quicker you’ll tear a hamstring." - Jim Wendler He uses it for strength training context, but in the sense that tackling slower, more meaningful micro-goals one by one are best when it comes to making progress in the overall picture.
I feel this on a personal level. Which is why I try to make a schedule as best as I can. Like make sure to balance my sleep, grind Microsoft Points, apply jobs on my phone, gaming, uploading videos on my channel, uploading community posts, talking to friends, spending time with family, etc. Good message which is why I wish everybody should take care of themselves in this generation. We all work too hard and burn ourselves out.
Thanks man. I find myself deep in depression, just waking up on my days off and not doing anything because I feel stretched thin from all I want to do/acomplish, and I end up not even starting anything. Even when I learn about the psycology of why our minds procrastinate to protect us from feelings of dread or failure, its still hard to change my mindset.
This is what UA-cam is about: finding the most random little piece of someone else’s mind that connects with you and makes you sit and think for a second. Thanks for the great video!
Don't forget number one is looking out for yourself. Everything else comes after. For me it goes: Myself My dog Family My other half Work Friends My hobbies Whoever I'm with I just do my best to be real with them. When I'm at work I give my best. That way if anything happens at the higher tiers of priorities. They are fine with me taking off for emergencies all because they know I'll give 100% the moment I'm back vs standing around on my phone trying to solve the problem. As they've seen firsthand that way just burns the companies money. With good family and friends they're either understanding or willing to help me out if I'm truly in a pinch. Like I'm currently at with all the shit I've been through in the last 3 weeks between several emergencies hitting me all at once costing me thousands. Makes the effort you put out worth it.

Procrastination is a hard thing to break. You can do it though.
