My elementary kids like to use it--and I loved using them as a correctional tool at the middle school level. When a student would intentionally detune a ukulele (not accidental), I'd assignment them detention and have them tune 70 ukuleles. It helped the program, and guaranteed that they would never intentionally mess around with the tuners again.
I started a uke club, although we haven't met in person (COVID), this seems like something that would be nice to have available once we start meet ups. It might make its way to my Christmas list 🙂
In the case of Low G, you’ll need to be in Chromatic Mode. For Baritone, you’ll need to be in Guitar mode. Once you figure it out, it is very simple to use. Let me know if you need a video made showing how to use it. If you do, please post a new comment at the top of the thread rather than an answer in this thread, as Facebook doesn’t show me replies to replies as new comments, and the only way to find them is to search for them. With as many videos as I have, I just cannot do that.
@@UkeStuff Thanks for the reply. I've learned: Choose uke semi, bring up the 4G string, hold the "S" button until string reads LG. Chromatic auto does baritones.
I love my Jowoom Smart tuner. And my kids love using it too.

It's a very useful present...but it might be overkill for some players.
Yes, the first time I saw this tuner was on your YT channel. Bought one and loved it so much, I had to buy another one later on. Thanks!
I really do love this tuner for use at school...and home. Thanks for your comment!
That’s a pretty cool tuner! I can see how that could be especially useful for teachers like you.
You'll need one soon for the collection you are amassing! 😀 By the way, I recently heard from Donner, but through the Vine program.
I just got one and I'm trying to understand how to use it on a low G ukulele and a baritone ukulele. Instructions are poor.
