Unfortunately he dropped the ball later on in the semi finals. While he put on a decent show, it didn't hold a candle to this one and was a rehashed performance that he used on The Voice like 4 years ago if I remember right.
What makes me so happy about the MB14 performance in 2023, is that it finally is well mixed! Seems like after more than a decade of beatboxers performing on casting shows, they finally found a soundtechnician that knows how to adjust for beatbox. Every other performance sound soooo flat 😂 which is sad, because beatbox is so amazing and more people should know about its true joy 👍🏼
MB14 is well known for his vocal range, and his ability to pick up on other sounds and copying them. Not only does he copy the sounds he hears, but he does it in such a way where every aspect of the original instrument is implemented into his mimicking technique. Its truly astounding.
