Saro was incredible his style is impeccable, but mb14 is one of those few in the world who can play any song. He builds the musical base, he can sing, he has a homogeneous voice in any style, pop, rap, reggae, rock. Mb14 is unique.
If I were a judge I would have voted for him, not because I think he's more skilled I think they're both equally skilled but his music hit different. Very surprised he didn't get a vote.
tbh I expect more creativity and innovation than being able to recreate existing songs from a looper. Sam Perry does a similar thing but puts his own flare on it.
