- Today we go CRUZIN’ with Maurio McCoy as he takes us around the place he calls home in Glendale, CA. We follow Maurio for his morning açaí bowl, his afternoon acupuncture, and then bombed the Americana parking garage. Maurio also walks us through his recent injury, and the steps he is taking for recovery. 5 months, you're lucky! You prob have good doctors too! Almost 2 years and my double break in the ankle still ain't great. That's our public system for ya
i just passed my 2 year mark, too. dislocation, broken fibula, achilles problems - not a fun time. good luck, dude. it gets better. just slowly.

Santa Cruz has had a pretty sick team and some awesome boards the past few years. Love the big board he was using as a cruiser. I’d like to build something like that, seemed good to cruise around but still able to bust out some tricks. More EverSlicks please lol , I say it in every post to Santa Cruz, they are my absolute favorite. I did see the new Creature EverSlicks with the 40oz graphics, but the smallest board seems to be a 8.37. I thought my Braun Munchies board was going to be too big at 8.25, but I’m starting to really like and I’m about to make it my daily rider.

Board fatigue is real when you wear narrower shoes at times. The foot loses original elasticity from better landings due to impact and everyday riding so to have toes narrowed in and to recover was maybe thinner than the response to catch from slipping into his ankle roll. I'd reccomend using a pencil on the toes to roll evenly over so there would be equal and better width on your foot's palm to expand and flaten to surface than have it narrow and stiff. Step up the size to increace a better chance and a better width but to make your toes recover from all the distress. F.P.'s can only do so much..
