- France today will undergo a radical revolution, the popular front shall be transformed into a singular communist front to end the years of political instability the nation has undergone. However this front shall go even further, to prove it's loyalty to the cause it believes in.
The revolution shall be spread as far and wide as it can, the old status quo of the world shall be dismantled and new, more egalitarian one shall ultimately replace it. A new global French Union shall be formed, only with the express permission of the people of course.

Today's video was requested by ShiSponk, Loyalty to the Cause has been on the agenda since before No Step Back released so to get it done now is great, most people who play France tend to go via the National Bloc so going about it this way is real different and fun.
By the way, big heads regarding the Workers Revolution in Britain operation, it crashes the game right now when you complete it. I didn't know of this since I hadn't done the operation for quite a long time, and I only did it again, learning of this after recording. So until such time that paradox fixes it. Do not do the operation.
Happy to see you make this vid! I enjoyed the commentary on the focus tree and the suggestions to it, it’s honestly one of my favorite focus trees, especially for France. I’ve noticed it just makes them very strong, even for the AI. I remember playing a game as Trotskyite USSR and the axis pushed France back half across their country, yet they got bogged down due to the lack of disjointed government and the French division defense.

The POUM Spain features in the very first video on this channel, it's a weaker Stalinist AND Anarchist path.
If you make collab govs out of your colonies before French union you re-annex anyone who votes to join and the others stay as your collabs despite the game saying they would break away. Thats the only time id do that focus.
I’d love to see more unique agency operations in the game, all the ones we have now aren’t too exciting. Easy coups aren’t that interesting imo, assassinating Trotsky is just two clicks you do to lessen a debuff, and getting Scotland and Wales to rebel was more trouble than it’s worth back when it worked.
Btw, Zester, the only way to increase chance of successful French Union referendums is through "Promise Independence" decisions which are unlocked via Free French Focus Tree.
So, would be interesting you play De Gaulle France and do the Union, but I guess you won't 'cuz it will be painful.

Nah, as another comment points out the only thing that does influence it is if you promise independence as Free France.
Odds of accepting are:
Indochina 5%:
Syria 15%:
North Africa 25%:
West/Central Africa 45%
However, if you promise independence you make it even worse, it decreases all of those chances to just 25% of what they start as, so for example Indochina becomes 1.25%
I also saved Spain and gained a lot of army and air xp. It's completely possible to intervene in the war without starting a civil war by simply never picking a decision that lowers your stability, picking the focuses that give you stability firstly, clicking the third (+7,5% war sup) and last (12,5% war sup) intervention decisions or the forth (+10% war sup) and wait for an event to pop giving you another 10% and you will have just enough (30% stability) to avoid the civil war and join the war. Also be ready to destroy the anarchists when they uprise, for some reason the supposed "communists" Attack the actual communists trying to save their country smh.
