Hi Sam! Thanks for the cool videos you produce ;)!
      Couple of questions about tires:
-what about the "bikepark" casing from Schwalbe?
-better 2,4 front and 2,6 back or the opposite?
-what about a magic Mary in less grippy compound in the back instead of a big Betty soft? (for Enduro)
      Thanks a lot!

Hi Sam, I notice my 29x2.3 Levo stock rear Eliminator tire sidewall flexes badly when pushed in the hardpack desert corners. Running TL I have to run higher pressures than I would like to keep the sidewall flex to a minimum. I weigh 155lbs.
Which Scwalbe tire and size would you recommend for my 2021 Levo? Riding mostly Arizona rocky desert singletrack with hardpack turns.
The stock Butcher 2.6 T7 front isn't bad but I think matching tire brands F&R is a good idea.
      What are your thoughts? Thanks!

Ya don't forget guys, that psi is also based on weight . I'm 235lbs and when I'm at a like park hitting jumps and knarly trails I run 35 front and 40 back . If I'm just going on really technical rock climbs ,I run 27 front and 32 back. Edit : that's for a full suspension, if I'm running hard tail I run higher rear pressure. If your running tubed I would run around 35 because I kept getting pinch flats if I ran less and all these is based on a 2.6 tire

    WTB Ranger 2.8 27.5 x 2.8" TCS Light/Fast Rolling 67-584 65/67 TCS Tubeless Single-ply 60 tpi 803g 15-30 psi
    + TANNUS Armour 27.5 x 2.6 - 3.0" 330g
    + Schwalbe Aerothan tube SV21E - MTB - 27.5" (54/62-584) 83g
    WTB Ranger 2.8 27.5 x 2.8" TCS Tough/Fast Rolling 67-584 65/67 TCS Tubeless Dual-ply 60 tpi 1044g 15-30 psi
    + Schwalbe Air Plus 27,5" tube SV21+AP 400g
So added together for a light setup 1,216g and 1,444g for the tough setup per wheel plus one spare tire.
Which combination would you choose for a long distance travel with mostly rough roads and some trails with some thousand kilometers?

I've been running an Eddy Current rear and standard Assegai front for a while now. 99% town use, pretty much zero off road. Grip is great, weight I don't care about, but bike has slightly slower acceleration. But the Eddy is virtually impossible to fit a tube into. I just managed with great difficulty, near impossibility. Schwalbe seems like a great tyre.

Love your videos. Keep up thr good work. I appreciate thid is a kind of sponsored video and there are ebike specific tyres, but in guessing thst because ebikes are power assisted you dont need take weight and drag into considerstion as much as mountain bikers do, so you could just run a set of DH tyres and a soft compound on the front and something hard wearing on the back. Im guessing the DH tyres would help with the heavier bikes and potentially heavier riders (based on my own observations on the trail).

Hey Sam! Another great video. Here in Southern California it seems impossible to get Schwalbe tires. Occasionally we can get Eddie Currents but no Magic Mary’s or Big Betty’s. Is that just the result of a typical COVID shortage or do they not send a lot of tires to the US? We would buy lots of them if we could. The Eddie Currents work really good but we’d like to try some of the others as well. Next time you speak to your Schwalbe Rep can you ask if/when we’ll see more tires?

Does schwalbetires go on sale during black friday deals and where usually? I have a Diamondback Release 3 2018 that came with Schwalbe Hans Dampf 27.5" SnakeSkin 2.35" with the rim DB Blanchard 28mm IW. Bike has been converted to a CYC X1 Pro gen 3 Mid drive motor with 52v battery output at 1850watts (average speed 20mph, top speed ~38mph)

@@SamsBikes @Sam’s Bikes I understand the sponsorship part of UA-cam and why it is needed. However I always thought that the primary intent UA-cam was for the creators to engage with their communities on subjects that they enjoy such as mountain biking. If a youtubers only goal from the platform is to make money off it and not provide interesting content at the same time, then I don't see a point to watching said content. While yes, sponsored videos are required, often they can be done In very tactful ways such as incorporating the sponsored products into a ride which makes for content that I would much prefer to watch than someone discussing all the different tires while sitting at a workbench.
